What's not to like about the Build-A-Bear Workshop! Especially the location at Temecula Mall where Mindy works! She made my experience such a great one with her energy, and knowledge about everything I had questions for! I brought in an Angel Bear online exclusive and she helped me make it special and personal for my girl. She even helped me pick out accessories. I thought I had a good idea myself but she definitely made it a tad bit better (can't giver her all the credit). Come to think of it, she might have been the manager and just teaching her coworkers how it's done! It can be expensive but if you know what you want it's priceless and such a worth it value. Overall I think I spent about $60-$75

My eyes didn't know where to look first. Amazing selection of animals and the clothes. Very friendly staff, my friend had a great birthday

I recently reunited with my first and favorite plush, my 2009 Hello Kitty Build a Bear and Today I took her in for my birthday and the staff was soo cute and nice! They re-stuffed her and I added the strawberry scent . I really wanted to combat boots and they didn't have any in stock but they gave me the pair right off the froggy mannequin! They also gave me a cub condo upon request. They were so nice that they even complimented the outfit I made for my furry friend! Will be coming back soon!

Daughter getting her My little pony doll!

I ended up here because I promised my daughter a My Little Pony stuffed animal. She has been such a trooper when she was in the hospital and being such a good girl! As we entered, we were greeted by a nice guy. He helped us out. My daughter already picked out her stuffed animal. She picked out Song Bird from My Little Pony. The nice young lady stuffed her animal. I purchased a song to put inside. All the other accessories add up when at the register. I think I paid like $50 but it was worth it for my daughter. They had a special for 2 for $35 and it was only on certain ones. A good deal for those but again I'm sure it adds up with all the extras. Clothes are sold separately. Cute stuffed animals in here. You also print out a birth certificate for your new stuffed animal. The inside was nice and clean. Cool place for the kids.

The idea at Build-A-Bear is pretty awesome... you can literally build a bear for anyone and almost any occasion! Sounds, sooo many clothes, and all for a decent price. You can build a custom and personal bear for about $30 - $50 depending on how creative you want to get. This Temecula store in particular I think is a little smaller than a few other ones I've seen and been to, but the staff is very helpful if it's your first time!

We just got home from build-a-bear. Andy helped us&forgot the sound-then failed to sew it up right! My daughter bought w/ HER $!

Lazy employees that didn't want to actually work. Very small selection for boys as well. Won't be returning to the Temecula location.

To know especially that these are rescued animals and are being taken care of so carefully, giving us the privilege of being able to give them our love as well, it was a heartwarming experience. Plenty of free parking available right infront of the sanctuary. There is a cute little shop attached to the sanctuary, where you can buy their handmade truffle chocolates which are so delicious (coming from someone who isn't a fan of truffle chocolates), fresh farm eggs, honey, and other delicacies. With your zoo "ticket" you get 2 free samples of their chocolates and a hefty bag of feed for the animals. The animals are mostly in their own pens, with some together. There's even a couple of the pigs you'll find out of pens, just hanging out on the property, laying beside the building. You're able to go into the tortoise pen and feed/pet him as well, 2 people at a time inside the pen, as he does get anxious. You're not able to feed all of the animals, but for the most part you can. Each pen has a sign for which animals are ok to feed/pet and which are not. They are very calm and friendly, as long as you are too. They take the feed very gently and don't bite your fingers. On the weekends they offer pizza made fresh for the visitors, and have plenty of covered outdoor seating options to enjoy. They also offer wine tasting, but we did not partake, as we had just left a winery, but I'm sure it is quite enjoyable as well. Definitely a must stop if you're in the area and it's a 5 minute drive from the wineries!

I was tempted and seduced with a Banana Truffle, and then I needed more, more, more. We spent more on chocolates than we did touring the animals, and it was worth EVERY penny!!! The animals they have here are all rescues, and many of them have issues, but they have a loving forever home here. With the exception of the Camel and the Bison, we own many of these animals ourselves, but still enjoy interacting with and feeding them. They all were such characters. One of the Alpacas is hysterical, absolutely LOVED him/her, with the goofiest teeth. They all take the treats so nicely and have soft mouths. I got to pet a Zebra (oh yeah, we don't have one of those either). The zebra is so cool and lives in a corral with a Zorse- such a fun experience. I don't care if you already own livestock; this place is a cool spot to stop in, and if nothing else, buy yourself some of the best chocolates you will ever have. When in season, they have Emu eggs available.

PIRATES AND DINOSAURS MINI-GOLF We paid for the two 9-hole courses (pirates and dinosaurs themes). You simply retrieve another ball at the counter between plays as you lose your ball down the last hole. We thought the pirate course was the better of the two, having some animated screens and was also less busy the day we went. Both courses are indoor and glow-in-the-dark. VISUALLY STUNNING, SLIGHTLY UNINTERESTING HOLES Visually, this is one of the better mini-golf courses we've done, especially because it's neon glow-in-the-dark, although the actual holes were slightly straightforward. Many of them just had concrete obstacles in the way in different formations. Still worth doing though, especially if you're mini-golf fans like us. NOT JUST MINI-GOLF The restrooms were in the back. They have two party rooms that were both busy the day we went. There are arcade machines and laser tag and food and drink available at 'Portal 19' (21+) PRICING The price for 2 mini-golf courses was $17 each. They closed the water area every 30 min to allow the next group of people in line in. But before they did that the lifeguards wiped down all areas of the play structures. It was a process but nonetheless the kiddos had a great time. Luckily, I had extra clothes for the grandkids to change out of, otherwise we would have to play in the dry playground while hearing and seeing the kids enjoy the Splash Pad. The playground has their rules and regulation posted on the gates. The restrooms are just outside of the play area, so very convenient. There is nice green grass in some areas and some picnic tables and stationary benches. I believe on of the rules is that you cannot set up canopy's, but I did see people set up a couple. I don't know if they have someone police the area if people are abiding by the rules. It wasn't a bother to anyone but I'm sure there is a reason for having that rule. The play area is nicely padded. The play equipment is nicely spread out where you could really view your littles as they run free with your close eye on them. There are different areas with equipment that is age appropriate. For sure I would return. Plenty of parking, it is clean and the grandkids and I love it here!

We came mainly for the splash pad and were disappointed to find out it is closed indefinitely. After speaking with other people at the park, we were told the City of Temecula does not currently have plans to reopen it. This information definitely needs to be updated online so families know before making the trip. Aside from that, the playground itself is very clean and has a nice rubberized surface for the kids. There is a massive toddler playground with its own separate swing set, along with a larger playground for older kids. It is honestly a nice park, and the closed splash pad is the only reason I am giving it three stars.
