My boyfriend & I took our 2 year old here to cool down and have some fun, right when we got there another family was ahead of us waiting to be stamped in, all while it's very obviously busy but seemed understaffed. We were waiting for a good 10 minutes and many other families piled up behind us so we all took it upon ourselves to stamp us in. Okay, waited and paid and the main thing my daughter liked is the trampoline area, we go find a table and there is again nobody by the gate to let her in. We wait and wait eventually I let her in myself. Eventually a "staff" member came and just stood by the door having kids run in and out but his vibe was very strange and he very clearly didn't want to be there lol. As we're leaving, I watch somebody ask the front desk "so do we have to be checked or can we just leave" because nobody was checking or stamping people in AGAIN. The employee said "yeah you can just go", the mother that asked was appalled and started saying to her husband how unsafe that is considering that's something parents really appreciate at such a chaotic place ! I give it 2 because some of the staff members were genuinely trying to help while others stood around! Hopefully they hire more staff soon! read more

Today I am upset we spent over 60 bucks we asked for two game cards unlimited my husband put one inn his wallet while we played with one our son is three so he doesn't need two at a time well after the first card said five mins left we took out the other card little did we know it also now had five mins we did not swipe it nor use it the lady did not want to give us our paid hour time just 15 mins back. This was just sad an she didn't even give us a receipt when we paid!!!! We went there tonight to celebrate my nieces birthday and they went above an beyond. Everyone we encountered was so friendly. The workers there wear many hats (cleaning, refilling salad bar, checking people in and out) but didn't hesitate to answer any questions I had. Ben who was at the front had great customer service and so much patience, he help me with the cake process and also went out of his way to get a candle and even provided a personal lighter to light the candle himself. I also encountered a young lady (with short black hair and glasses) sadly did not get her name but she answered my question with such a kind attitude. We arrived at 6 on a Thursday night and it took 30 mins to order food. Only 1 person taking orders. It than took an hour and half to get the food we ordered. We than tried to cash in tickets and waited 25mins before 1 of 7 people working helped us. Person only helped because we asked and she got an attitude. She was darn near throwing stuff at us. Cheese's, seems like the right thing to do, right? So I looked on their website and printed out some coupons, checked to see if they had toddler areas and apparently they do so I said to my husband "let's treat her out!" Turns out that it was the wrong thing for us to do. We got to the door and she didn't want the door guy to stamp the stamp on her, so he gave her a bracelet to wear but she didn't like that. We tried to get her on a few rides but she wasn't interested because there was a gigantic plastic mouse (Chucke's figurine) next to her and it freaked her out. At this point, we had so many extra tokens, my husband and I decided to play a few games ourselves and have our daughter watch. She seemed to enjoy the skeeball and even started throwing a few with us. The basketball hoops, she was intrigued with. Certain video games, she watched on curiously while my husband played. The pizza was terrible, salad bar was sad looking, we got 50 tickets and redeemed it for a tiny pinwheel for our daughter. On the way out, one of the employees chased us down and asked if we had a stamp or a bracelet to show that the child is ours. We couldn't find the bracelet my daughter had on earlier, so he asked my daughter "is this your daddy?" (My husband was holding her) and she cried and said "NOOO!" because the staff was so close to her, not because that's not her daddy. LOL. The employee let us go, we laughed so hard. I was never a Chuck E Cheese girl when I was growing up, and it looks like my daughter won't be one either. At least we can say we gave it a try and wasted $20. read more

Holy disgusting batman. This place was soooooooooo gross. The carpets appear to never have been cleaned EVER.. I get it. There are tons of kids, dirty kids even... But as a multi million dollar corporation you account for hundreds of dirty kids in your establishment daily. Either have the carpets cleaned regularly or put tile in so you can mop with bleach daily. Walking in the stench of dirty slaps you in the face. It was our daughters birthday so we couldn't just leave. The pizza is mediocre at best but it always has been since I was a kid. We werent there for the pizza so I'll give the food 2 stars. I was legitimately terrified of my 2 year old falling onto the floor. The location was clean & food was good BUT....When we came in we told them we had not been here before and asked what the rules were and they never told us about the PAUSE option when you are eating. We came on a Wednesday and they have 1 hour play for $17.99 but since we were NOT TOLD about the Pause option the kids ate their piza through the 45 min of the hour. After reading all the reviews on Yelp and google, I was very apprehensive to visit this location but since this is the closest Chuck E Cheese we decided to pop in on a Saturday and celebrate my son's 4th birthday. We found the staff to be very friendly! We've been here for 2 hours now and I'm watching one of the employees walk around swiping his card and letting the kids play for free. There's also another employee waking the floor, cleaning up tables and picking up trash. We ordered 2 large pizzas, breadsticks and chicken wings. When our pizza arrived (about 30 minutes later, but we didn't mind since the kids were playing), one of our pizzas were wrong. We kind of give it a weird look and before we say anything she tell us they cut half a pepperoni pizza and half a cheese pizza from two other pizzas they had already made and put these together for us so that it could fresh sense they messed our order up . So this is why the pizza looked uneven . Well everyone was hungry so we ate , pizza wasn't bad in taste but was room temp at best . So not sure how this pizza was made from two fresh ones . 3 stars for past good experience and friendly staff , But the pizza thing was weird especially with the rumors of them using recycled pizza lately. The worst customer service I've ever had. MEGAN (manager?) is not suited to work with the public. Treats customers like crap. She got my carry out order wrong twice before I decided to attempt to cancel my order, however she would not allow that. She argued with me that she got the order right and this mistake is what I ordered... well that might work as her excuse the first time but to blame me for her getting it wrong a second time?? It was 2 pizzas and 2 orders of wings, simple. Just admit you got it wrong and move on instead of being a jerk. Went home with one warm pizza, one cold pizza, and two orders of cold wings. As she remade my order in the back I could see her through the little window flailing around while talking bad about me and angrily throwing her arms around. Contacted corporate to let them know, customers should not have to have employees blatantly talk s#*t about them while they wait 45 minutes to get their correct order. Unfortunately they've lost my business, my 5 year old has more fun at a park anyways. Went there to take my grandkids to have some lunch and fun what a mistake. Cheese pizza was $20 but I figured it's OK the kids will have fun with it 30 minutes later still had not received the pizza I went up and asked the lady at the cash register if she could check on it and said if it wasn't ready I would just take a refund. He said he could reheat it or take the one that was about to come out of the oven and give it to me I said I didn't want the one that was about to come out of the oven as that was someone else's and then their order would be delayed because of the mistake with my order he offered to reheat the pizza again but is it already had dark brown spots on the top I knew putting it through again would just make it completely black and I told him no I didn't want that. He said well that's what I could do I said to forget it said I didn't want it and went to get my stuff together a lady in a blue shirt came over and asked me what happened I explained the situation to her and she said it had not been there for that long that it only takes five minutes to go through the oven and that she saw him putting it in the oven when she walked to her office 10 minutes before. So two different people gave two different stories I believe the gentleman in the block shirt who is referred to as the manager as it was ice cold and her version of it beeing put in the oven put in the oven less than 10 minutes before and was ice cold made no sense. She offered to put it through again to reheat it and again I said no that was not what I wanted as it was not going to work she said well that's what I can do for you I said I didn't want that she turned and walked away. So I paid $20 and had no pizza no apology no refund or anything else. I would stay away from this Chuck E. I took my two children here today and I noticed this young man constantly running around cleaning and sanitizing every game throughout the facility the whole time we were there. This place is a major let down. Half the stuff doesn't work and there isn't much to begin with. We only come here when we don't feel like making the drive to Riverside or across the Ortega hwy. They don't restock the buffet often enough and you have to fight for a slice of pizza because the lazy dads that just sit and watch their kids play are also watching the counter like hawks waiting for fresh pizza to be put down and then it's gone .5 seconds later and then it takes the employees 10+ minutes to put out more. I went up multiple times and there was no pizza out. That annoyed me. I will say that the last time we came during the buffet hours one of the employees asked us if we would like a pizza to go... for free. We said yes (of course) so that was nice and unexpected. This Chuck E Cheese is small and gets really crowded. Because of the smaller size and limited games, there is almost always a wait for every game. The machines are older and ate a few of my quarters. They also don't look like they ever get cleaned. The prizes suck and you pretty much get nothing for your hard earned tickets. But I think it's the same prizes for every chuck e cheese so not their fault I guess. I would've given them only 1 star but 1 extra star for the sweet girl at the register. We were buying the 70 tokens for $20. She was nice enough to pull a coupon from her drawer which gave us 100 tokens for $20. Otherwise I would go elsewhere. Great little party hostess, Joanna, for a party of 12, she was really attentive, stayed making sure all the kids had what they needed. Pizza was delicious with plenty of cheese and pepperoni.
