First time customers here, I let my husband chime in since 1) It's Father's Day 2) He used to work for a large pizza chain. He said a solid 4.5 stars, but since we can't give 1/2 star ratings, I decided to go with 4 due to a few issues. First of all, service was phenomenal, super friendly, helpful and our order was coming out hot and fresh at our exact time of pick up. The (L) Hawaiian delight pizza was amazing, overflowing with toppings and cheese, love me a good, chewy crust. My favorite (L) spinach garlic chicken has a bomb alfredo sauce, huge chunks of artichoke and the best garlicky flavor. I opted for the jalapeño and cheese stuffed crust and oh my word, I swear, don't sleep on this. My husband's pizza was an (XL) pepperoni with the Tuscany thin crust (aka the big daddy). He said while he enjoyed that the pizza wasn't oily like other places, he said as a thin crust, toppings should go from corner to corner or edge to edge (that there really shouldn't be a traditional "crust") and it was actually chewy rather than crispy. The cheese bread was full of flavor and yummy and the chocolate chip cookie dessert was a lot smaller than I thought it would be. Last, but not least, unfortunately the churros were overdone and burnt tasting. I really appreciated the offer of a 2L soda with our order ($118 for all of the above btw) because he really didn't have to say anything and I would have been none the wiser. It's free with a $25 purchase. Although it wasn't a perfect 5 star first experience all around, we would definitely be back now that I know what we are dealing with. We know what to get and what to avoid next time around. Pizza is pretty good. They do have some really good specials as well. For the most part, customer service has been very good. BUT.... .....if you go into the store and order from there, make sure you know EXACTLY what you want ( coupon code, etc). If you forget, depending on who's there, they will try and offer you a deal that's not quite a deal. I forgot my phone to look up the Special and I got hosed. Sure it was a matter of only two or three bucks, but still. Not cool. If you're working there, it's probably a good idea to be familiar with your Specials. I'll still come here, the family likes the pizza, but just know what's on Special. Not all of us customers remember them. If it's a matter of numbers, inventory, or whatever, I'm sure a business can make exceptions that works in a customers favor and not charge an up-charge. read more

My son knows the way to my heart: order a veggie pizza and keep the meat far, far away. We gave Pizza Guys a try, and they did not hold back on the toppings!!!!! This thing was absolutely loaded with veggies and every bite was delicious. My only gripe was that the olives showed up like they were trying to break a world record. I like olives, I do.... but even I was thinking, "Alright, calm down, olive squad!!!" I should really try to find a better place to put it in the back of my car... because the smells on that journey will have you salivating the entire ride home. Pizza Guys has some of the fastest service I've ever seen! The quality is never disrupted despite the quick service, it's a one-of-a-kind pizza shop. This time around I got a half all-meat and half vegetarian pizza. Next, I also ordered a pepperoni pizza. Both were large size. I also ordered some garlic knots! It all came around to about $70. I was in and out, my order was ready! The guy running the register was friendly and helpful with all the customers! The staff were all working hard and had a good demeanor. I really want to like you guys, I really do. I might be old school because I order anchovies with pineapple. I like the salty and sweet. But would it kill you guys to at least rinse off the salt on the anchovies? I take a bite of it and all I have is a wave of SALT and then sweet once I force myself to swallow it. Now the good part, once I finished the salt fish, I have the pineapple. The pineapple part of the pizza is delicious, but then I get another slice and then I am met with another wave of salt. I was in the Fallbrook area and I remember coming here to this Pizza Guys for a Yelp event a few months back. I recall eating the best lemon pepper dry rub chicken wings ever. The lady on the phone was nice enough to still give me the 25% off my pizza only even though I didn't order it online. Yeah, I had issues placing the order online. Thank you so much Miss! I ended up getting a large pizza with half Hawaiian Delight and half Serrano Chili, 12 chicken wings with lemon pepper dry rub with marinara sauce, and cheese bacon rolls also with marinara sauce. My mouth was watering before getting to this pizza joint. Upon entry, I was greeted right away by the nice lady who took my order. I remember her voice. Space is not very big here because there is no dine-in option... it's pick-up only. My order was already ready. They have this sweet pick-up perk where you get a free 2 liter soda with a purchase of $25 or more. I spent over $50 so I got one. I informed the lady that the last time I was here I had spent over $25 and no one said anything about a free 2 liter soda. She was kind to offer me a 2nd 2 liter soda. Thank you so much Miss! Now to the food, pizza was delicious. Hawaiian Delight is always a delight. First time trying the Serrano Chile and I loved it! The different bacons and veggies were fantastic. Sauce had the right amount of spice. I probably would have preferred a little bit less sauce because I don't like my pizza drenched with sauce... maybe next time I can ask for the sauce on the side. Anyway, cheese bacon rolls were very yummy especially when it's warm. As for the chicken wings, I was very very disappointed because it was not the same level of taste and consistency as I had last time. This was supposed to be the highlight of my visit. The chicken wings were not moist. There was barely any lemon pepper flavor to it. It looked like they just fried the chicken wings and sprinkled some pepper on it. Hence, the 4 stars otherwise I would have given 5 stars. Crispiness was on point though, but still 4 stars! I don't live in the Murrieta area, but should I be in passing... I've been looking for a tavern crust pizza since I moved here. My favorite is in Chicago. The pizza was good but the thin crust is not a tavern crust. I really loved the cupped pepperoni and the sausage was good. Good sauce and cheese, did not order extra cheese and it did not need extra cheese. I rarely get a deep dish, but I may try it here. I wish the thin crust was what I am looking for. I don't think they have any in my area of Lake Elsinore or San Diego where I lived before.
