Came in with my daughter and granddaughter for a little time travel back to 1988 when they first opened and this place was my go to after every softball game. We got the carnitas pizza and it was good but just missing a base to it. I would like to recommend adding a base of refried beans then also on toppings try out avocado slices and salsa verde. Prices can be cheap or expensive depending on what you order. It can be really busy or empty based on when you go. The place is centered around a baseball theme. There is also a mini crane/toy machine area that uses quarters and has a change machine, but play at your own risk! We went on a Wednesday, the special was $23.99 for a Large Pizza, any topping. We got half veggie and half pepperoni pizza, a greek salad, and one drink, water is available. The cost was around $44 plus tip, make sure to check your receipt. Turns out it was our new son-in-laws's favorite pizza place growing up. so this has been a fav for decades.The ambiance is very kid friendly and sports oriented. TL;DR the food and speed at which the food comes out is consistent and amazing. I would suggest coming here. I have had their pizzas, but mainly go for their cal zones. The small lunch special cal zone is the best deal on their menu (in my opinion). Both their pizzas and cal zones are incredible. They are always hot and flavorful. There is a great balance of cheese to ingredients, and they are generous with the amount of vegetables put in the cal zone. The service is pretty consistent. Employees are always friendly and attentive, and I have not had any issues ordering from them ever. The setting of the restaurant is nice too. I love the baseball aesthetic of the restaurant and the wooden furniture as well. It has a nice sense of community, and the small arcade is fun for families with young children. I ordered a 10" cauliflower greek pizza. I was shocked when the price came out to $25 before taxes. I asked the cashier to help me understand how it came to be 25$ and all she could tell me was that the 10" pizza base price was 11$, and the couliflour option was an additional $4. Which is fine, but that's only up to $15, that means the rest of the topings for this 10" pizza were 10$ which couldn't be explained and the menu was silent on these details. I called the manager later to discuss this and was then told the the Olive Oil sauce is an additional $4. Geeze, How much olive oil do they put on it? Maybe a couple of tablespoons. Just overall disappointed in the lack of pricing transparency the menu gives. When we arrived, on a weeknight, it wasn't super busy, but as the minutes ticked on closer to dinnertime, it started to become more crowded. This place is very popular. You can imagine our disappointment when as we were leaving, we saw a promotion for a large pizza and two salads for around $30. I wish the person taking our order would have mentioned this to us. I also thought it was weird that I had to ask for ranch for my salad (I don't think they keep any at the salad bar). When I did, she reached for the cash register. I was surprised and asked if she was going to charge me extra, and she asked if ranch was supposed to be at the salad bar. I said "I would assume so?" and thankfully she gave it to me lol.
