I decided to try Chubby Tea because of its high ratings. It took some time to locate the store, and wait time was around 20 minutes for two drinks. The worker was friendly and informed us about a promotion where we could get a free strawberry drink for purchasing two drinks. I really liked the art on the cup and the ambience in the building. Unfortunately, the drinks themselves were disappointing. I requested less sugar for my mango avocado smoothie, but the drink tasted more like extra sweet. The free strawberry drink was also excessively sweet. read more

It took us a while to find the place. It was inside chubby cattle restaurant. You go in and go straight don't look at the host unless you're eating there. Order your drinks at the kiosk and you can either wait there or go next door to duo duo to get some Asian snacks. Pricing: way cheaper than any tea place I've been. Menu: very limited to drinks that cut fatty food. So more sour options, no Thai tea, lots of fruit teas, and milk teas. Wait: not slow at all. Depends if they have lots of to go orders. Seating: no seating area just order, grab, and go. Or you can seat outside near melo melo area Parking: plenty of space on top and if you can't find it go under. Let's be real--nobody is believing the 5-star reviews about how good the tea is, right? When you dine in at Chubby Cattle, they offer a free drink if you leave a 5-star review on Google (not sure about Yelp), which explains the overly inflated ratings. Honestly, their drinks are an embarrassment to the boba industry. Nothing tastes fresh, and the boba just sits out at the cash counter, it cannot possibly have passed the healthy inspection. I wouldn't spend actual money on their drinks, they think Americans are stupid by mixing milk with sugar and syrup to call it a drink. Horrendous. Never seen a smile on the girls' face at the boba station so I'm not even gonna comment on the service, it's right inside the chubby cattle restaurant, so unnecessarily loud for a "boba place" that's got its own yelp page. read more

This was such an amazing experience. Our server, Vickey was super attentive. First time here at chubby tea/chubby cattle. Although wait was a bit long, it was worth it. Quality of meat was great and it's nice that you have options of sushi and other dishes and not just meat. I like the walk up option for the sauces, rice and vegetables and unlimited boba was even better. i know the chubby group normally has their stuff together but this drink was literally undrinkable. when we first walk in, there were huge tubs of mixed drinks just sitting on top of a black cart open to the air inside the bbq restaurant and immediately that was off-putting. i ordered my very basic drink boba milk tea and my friend a fruit black tea. when i tell you i dont know what it tasted like when i drank mine and my friends', i really do not know what they put in it. it felt wayyy too milky and no tea?? and for my friend it barely tasted like the fruit she ordered (either lychee or passion fruit) i am blanking. i dont know how they have such high ratings but the drink was reallllly nasty and having the mixed drinks out in the open was sooooo unsanitary read more

It can definitely be a little sweet, so you might want to adjust the sweetness. 9/10 The Osmanthus Citrus Refresher is my all-time favorite drink! The osmanthus flavor is so refreshing in the hotter months, and the citrus adds a nice touch to the tea. 10/10 The staff at all of the Torotea locations are super friendly, and are always willing to give recommendations. It's a bit pricey $7 for the fries. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was a horrible experience. I placed an online order and saw my name on the drinks that were ready at the counter. No staff members were around, so I reached over to grab my order. An employee suddenly appeared and told me that I couldn't just take it. There wasn't a sign telling customers to wait, and at places like Starbucks and other drink shops, completed mobile orders are normally left at the pickup counter for customers to grab. I understand if they have a different policy, but it should be clearly posted and communicated politely. I also requested no seasoning on my crispy tofu because I don't like their seasoning. The manager rudely told me they couldn't do that because it was supposed to come with seasoning. However, I contacted their customer service team afterward, and they confirmed that the tofu could absolutely be customized without seasoning. They even offered to replace it with a complimentary order prepared the way I originally requested. When I returned and explained the email I received, the manager acted very skeptical and almost seemed like she didn't believe me. The entire interaction made me feel uncomfortable, especially when I was only trying to receive the replacement their team had already offered me. I liked coming here for the taro slushy and convenient late hours, but after the way this situation was handled, I don't think I'll be returning.

While waiting I took a few photos and checked out their menu and seasonal promotions. Their 4 drinks for $20 Labor Day Special was expiring end of 9/7/26 seems like a good deal. But having had other milk tea earlier in the day we did not take advantage of this promotion. Ended up getting Aiyu Lemon Green Tea with Aiyu Jelly & Grass Jelly. The tea had that authentic Taiwanese tea flavor and she was generous with the flavored jellies. Solid 5/5. Traditional Black Milk Tea with Boba Pearls tasted exactly like what I would expected from a tea shop that knows their milk tea fundamentals. The boba pearl was still soft and chewy, especially for the end of the business day, pleasantly surprised but almost to be expected in the fiercely competitive boba tea market in Rowland Heights. We have stand out boba tea shops in Vegas, but I doubt even the best with years of solid local support could top Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea in a blind taste test (and there are likely even more subjectively superior boba tea options that local connoisseurs could recommend that I am simply cluelessly unaware of). That being said we are very satisfied with our first visit and the teas we took home. 5/5.

I got boba, tea jelly, and coffee jelly with my tea. The drink was delicious with the ice cream, but you do have a wait a bit for the ice cream to melt so it can be drinkable. Love that you can still add on more toppings on top of the ice cream. There is a little bit of seating inside (no tables), but it's more of a order and go spot. If you're already in this plaza, ALittle Tea is nice to stop for a boba drink, otherwise, you'd drive yourself crazy trying to find parking and navigating around all the bottleneck cars.
