My mother, sister and I ate at this restaurant while in town on a girls trip. First of all, the food was AMAZING! 1000/10. Not a single flaw. Most importantly, they have the VERY best customer service. From checking in with the host, being seated, and being waited on, everyone was top notch. Special recognition goes to our waiter, Brenner J. We eat out several times a week, and this was by far the best waiter we had ever experienced. He filled every need before being asked, explained menu items and answered all of our questions with a smile on his face, took time to talk to us and get to know us, and made sure that we had the best night! This guy is a gem. We will be back!! read more

The service and food were exceptional! We received our food super fast and the server, Lucy B, was very attentive and helpful with questions about the menu. We will certainly be back again! read more

Outstanding service. The waitstaff knows their products, and make great recommendations. The food was well prepared, well presented.. and a joy to indulge. Treat yourself. Give them a try. read more

We've been here twice now, and the food has been excellent both times. Do not skip the shrimp bruschetta - the flavors are just so good, light and fresh. It's a dish I think about often! We also really like the burrata - the flavor combinations are excellent. We tried the saltimbocca this time, which was tasty, but a little heavy on the Sherry vinegar. If that were cut back by half, it would be perfect! read more

Brenner was my server and he was absolutely fabulous. The Chicken Pesto Sandwich I had was superb . Great atmosphere and parking too !!

Giving this restaurant three stars even though we have given it a five star in the past. The food is exceptional the wait is exceptional However the hostess is rude and has a dismissive demeanor! We've had reservations every time, feel like we are regulars and trying to support a local restaurant that is new. However this might be the last time we come as it's not enjoyable walking to the table with someone who clearly does not want customers. If this was the first time or even the second time I might let it go thinking that she was just having a bad day. This is our seventh time to attend this restaurant. read more

Went to grab dinner alone after a long day. The staff was so friendly and great to talk to. Lucy and Brenner kept me company while I was enjoying my meal. Food was excellent as well. I got Saltimbocca and a charcuterie board. The space is very intimate and beautiful. Would recommend for a date night or birthday. read more

Chrysalis - Cioppino - Italian Near Me - Franklin, Tennessee

Superb service but I expected the food to be MUCH better given that the word "Incredible" has been used so often in reviews to describe the food. It was bland for me. I had the Puttanesca pasta and the flavors blended very poorly. My husband had the vodka diavolo pasta which we agreed was very good and spicy. Ceasar salads were good but not incredible. Rosemary focaccia was probably the most disappointing item next to the Puttanesca. It was dry and the accompanying spreads were bland. Though the service was better than great, the food didn't impress me enough to return. read more

Such good food, especially their appetizers and pizzas!!! Service was excellent, and the whole place overall was just super cute and had such a good vibe. We drank wine and had a delicious espresso martini, but the whole cocktail menu looked great! read more

Fantastic food and service! I've been living on the West Coast for decades now and I guess I had forgotten about Southern hospitality a little bit. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. And the food here was outrageously delicious. We had a charcuterie board, focaccia, mussels, salad, and a lot more... I can't remember it all. But everyone with us really loved the food, drinks, and our waitress. I definitely recommend it and would come again when I'm in town. read more

Delicious food. Unassuming space. Friendly staff. Great value. What else do you need? The focaccia, you need the rosemary focaccia.

I just booked my third reservation for this fantastic new spot!!! The food is outstanding, everything tastes really fresh. We had the burrata, focaccia, and shrimp appetizers. I had the Alfredo over bucatini, and some cocktails and wine. Everything was so delicious, and the value is incredible. We even had some of their house made limoncello and it was also superb. We met the owner and it is really nice to see someone truly care so much about their restaurant and it's patrons. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. read more

so I don't post. not that guy. Ben is legit. He may be one of the best cocktail crafters I have ever known...I have known many.

Bravo to Chrystalis. Williamson's first high quality, made from scratch culinary experience featuring Tuscany style Italian dishes, wonderful charcuterie boards, top wines and the best tiramisu in all of greater Nashville. A Special shout out Haley head chef and Brennen our server who helped us explore the menu. One tip--Don't miss exploring the authentic after diner liquors and drinks featuring their extensive Amoro liquor collection. read more

"More".......We've been intrigued since Chrysalis opened, but have not tried before tonight. Ordered takeout. The Order Online menu was different from the web menu. The three entrees we got were very tasty, but the two that were pasta dishes were extremely disappointing because of the portion size. These were more like appetizers than mains. The Panini was ample, and the Burrata appetizer was very nice - especially the fig jam. No dessert on the Order Online menu. Will we go back? Might give the dine-in experience a chance.... lots of positive reviews, and the place was packed when I picked up the takeout order. Maybe on recommendation of a close friend.... read more

Had an amazing experience today, lunch and service was outstanding! First time we've been and definitely will be back: The homemade noodles with chicken and alfredo sauce was to perfection and so savory!!!! Favorite cool springs dinner spot. Date night, work lunch, whateva the occasion. Any of their pastas will rock your world. Service is on point too. Atmosphere is just about perfect too, even though it's in a strip mall sort of place. It's comfortable, not stuffy, so don't come here for white glove fine dining. But don't let that fool you--everything on the menu is as fine as you could ask for. read more

Wow, is all I can say; one star is generous, zero stars is fitting here. First off, it's odd walking into a restaurant to no host stand, all patrons waiting and nobody really knows what's going on. Once seated, to be greeted by a curt, snotty waitress (Angela) truly set the tone for what would follow. The wine...asked for Pinot Noir, saw it on the menu as bottle only, that I did not want, and I was told they didn't have any and told me what was similar (it wasn't). Then the food...the bean/pork bruschetta was disgusting, the pork was all fat, the bread was stale, and the focaccia was also stale and cold. Then the entrees, how can any restaurant mess up a chicken Caesar salad? This one! The presentation was so unappetizing; this is not a salad, it's chicken in romaine lettuce. The pasta with marinara sauce came out cold, once again Angela was lack luster in her interaction with her customers and when ordering, never asked if I wanted meat of any kind, and was snotty when I had no clue what sauce I was to be selecting from. We would have gotten better food and service from Olive Garden. There was no offering of fresh Parmesan cheese with the meals, no spoon for the pasta. All in all, I will NEVER return and you really should consider giving Angela training in customer service. She absolutely had snide things to say given the staring at our table by other service members that occurred after she would interact with us. She is lucky my date was so gracious AND generous to her despite her horrible service. Please know the tip you (Angela) received is NOT because of your tremendous service and the superb food. This choice was an EPIC failure; I should have stuck with my reservation at Mere Bulles. The food (limited menu offerings) and service here are in need of a lot work. As an aside, it is really disappointing to read the poor reviews and the owners responses. Praises for the satisfied customers and excuse findings and reminder of how many positive reviews they receive despite the dissatisfied customers verbalizing their experience. This is a complete disregard and acknowledgment of the dissatisfied customers who find fault with the restaurant. This is not an establishment I would consider returning to. Oh, and based on Andrew's response below, he forgot that, "the customer is ALWAYS right." This place won't be in business long. Too bad Basil closed. read more
