This food is not good. Ordered chicken & broccoli and General Tso's chicken with fried rice. The chicken in the chicken & broccoli was inedible. Rubbery and soaking wet. The food and quality of service at this restaurant was impressive. I ordered the Basil Fried Rice Combination and my partner ordered Lo Mein. Both dishes were fresh and tasty, and made with quality ingredients. I did not get that "too full" feeling after eating food from Chopstix. Overall a welcome departure from typical Chinese spots in the area who use an excess of oil and oftentimes include MSG laced foods. After giving this place a shot, I'm shocked by the bad reviews. Maybe Great Falls has a tough crowd? To sum it up: The chicken on a stick was tender and flavorful. This place is good, not great. Pretty good quality in terms of fast Chinese takeout. However, I'm ambivalent about the pricing. They have positioned themselves to cater to the upper middle class consumer target group in its surrounding vicinity.. so the quality is a bit better, but the quantity is also a bit less than competitors. I'm always a little skeptical about ordering Chinese food as so much of it is overly sauced and kind of bland but I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the spring rolls, veggie lo mein, chicken with Chinese dry chili, and minced pork green beans with black bean and chili. Not terribly impressed with spring roll (which seemed like an egg roll)...I think of them as very different things so was bummed. The veggie lo mein was good...not terribly flavorful but good comfort food...but....the chicken was so good! First of all, they know how to deliver fried items...the chicken came in a plastic bottom with no top and just loosely sealed in paper bag...perfect to ensure the best possible outcome delivery can provide...spicy with chili and numbing Sichuan peppercorns...addictive! Never had the minced green bean and pork dish... initially very aromatic but I thought the buns it is served with drowned out the flavor...alone or with a bit of rice, it's sooo yummy! The owners have become a little too arrogant for their own good. I asked for a vegetarian singapore noodles ( as it comes with 3 different low quality meats) , They charged me $2.00 extra to put tofu in it. The chicken which I had tried before was spoilt and had a bad odour. I decided to opt for a vegetarian dish instead for that reason. She said that there was no way to enter a vegetarian singapore noodles. So they would gladly take the meats out but charge extra for the vegetables. All because the system is not designed for that option. How stupid do you think is the public. I would totally give this restaurant five stars if they could improve the chicken quality in the orange chicken or General Tso's dishes, which tend to be my favorite. The chicken cuts used in the sweet and sour chicken are perfect, but the quality of chicken you get in the other dishes I mentioned was sub-par: kind of fatty, inconsistent, and unsatisfying. I would take Panda Express orange chicken any day over the Chopstix version for now.
