I ordered Yu Shan Chicken, as well as Beef with Spring onions... BOTH dishes were completely wrong. The beef with spring onions didn't have a SINGLE green onion. ZERO. The Yu Shan Chicken dish did not have any mushrooms or bamboo shoots... additionally the Yu Shan which indicates "spicy" with a fire icon was possibly one of the sweeeeetest dishes I've ever had. To label it as "Spicy," even for the underdeveloped layman is QUITE a stretch. I have lived in Great Falls for 20 years and have been to Izumi many many times since it first opened. And let me say this with a heavy heart that... the service here has ALWAYS been abysmal. Every. Single time. The server appears annoyed while taking orders, bringing out waters for the table, and even when we asked to wipe down the dirty booth they've sat us in. These behavior was a pattern for YEARS. After years of horrible and rude service at this location, my family and I transitioned to only carry-out. Now they can't even get a simple food order right!

    Shrimp and vegetable tempura

Izumi Sushi has been a delivery lunch favorite of mine this year. I've been seeking fresh, quality sushi with lunch deals and this is the spot. They're located in Great Falls but I've never dined here, only delivery, which has never disappointed. I usually get a 3 roll combo for $15.50, the options are plentiful and not basic. They do also have lunch chirashi which I've tried, and a sashimi special with California roll for about $20. I've tried their hibachi which is great; most recently I got the shrimp and vegetable tempura hibachi and it was excellent. For the sushi, it is always fresh and tastes amazing, even being delivered. My favorites are the spicy white tuna roll and the salmon avocado. The sashimi is excellent and the white tuna here is so fresh. The salmon is also buttery and melts in your mouth. I recommend this place for high quality sushi.

Sweet potato sushi and garden veggie maki sushi and seaweed salad

Wide selection of sushi, noodle, stir-fry dishes with good vegetarian options, some dishes are a bit better than others. My UberEats delivery sushi spot! The crispy Sweet Potato with eel sauce hit the spot! So good that I didn't even need to request for spicy mayo. The Garden Veggie Maki roll was okay. While it was packed with veggies - cucumber, avocado, asparagus, lettuce, mango - the roll was quite bland. Would be nice for the roll to be topped with a drizzle of soy sauce or spicy mayo or at least an option for an upcharge. The Seaweed Salad with Ponzu dressing was fine, it has a bit too much sauce and quite pricey at $8 on UberEats. The Tofu Teriyaki was okay with chunks of crispy tofu, broccoli, carrots, snap peas - the Teriyaki sauce was very thick and served on the side. Would be nice if the veggies were cooked in the sauce. The sushi rolls are on the smaller side with only 1 piece in the Tuna Maguro roll. Good sushi, lots of options and great for groups and picky-eaters!

Local neighborhood Sushi place with a cozy atmosphere offering inexpensive & creative rolls. All the employees are friendly & helpful regardless of which table they are serving. Definitely a family oriented restaurant as Toddlers were having fun sticking their food with Chopsticks. The menu is extensive with Appetizers from both the Kitchen & Sushi Bar, Rolls, Sashimi, Ramen, Naruto, Bento Boxes & a page full of Lunch specials. There's also a good selection of Vegetarian options. A well serviced & sociable Sushi restaurant in downtown Great Falls, VA.

Hot & Sour Soup - This was good, a little bland. We ended up adding more salt and and chilies.

We've driven past this place a million times, and not sure why we never ate or ordered from Izumi Sushi. I guess we thought we'd order Chinese from a Chinese restaurant, not a Japanese-Chinese place. We decided to order from here today and it wasn't bad at all. We ordered the Spicy Girl Roll, Hot and Sour Soup, Singapore Noodles, Triple Delight and Shredded Spicy Crispy Beef. Everything tasted fresh, clean and descent. It is Great Falls, so a bit on the pricier side but they were quick, clean and this place is convenient. We will definitely be ordering from here again!

Fancy roll - fried lobster, avocado with mango sauce wrapped in a pink soy wrapper

Despite some of the negative reviews on service, they were super friendly tonight when I came in to order takeout. I was near home and headed to Safeway, so I figured this would be better than grocery store sushi and I was right! California roll- perfectly acceptable @ for $5.50 for 6 pieces. Hubs doesn't like avocado so I was able to switch out cuke. Great simple rolls that are difficult to mess up. Fancy roll - $16 for eight pieces. deep fried lobster tail, avocado and mango sauce wrapped in a pink soy wrapper. Great if you're like me and not a seaweed fan (I'm a bad Asian). Totally delicious, but a bit pricey. For take out, the fried lobster got a bit soggy, as the mango sauce soaked into everything. Hubs got the Spicy Girl Roll, but I don't think he's a fan of raw fish. ($13.95- Spicy crunchy tuna, topped with spicy yellowtail, wasabi mayo and wasabi bean cracker) Forgive the bad pics - I was so excited to eat that I forgot to take a pic earlier when they were all wrapped up!

I ordered a couple of cocktails off the menu - Lychee Martini was very boozy and didn't have much flavor. The Flor de Cana Pineapple Mojito is interestingly on happy hour, but not on the main cocktail menu. It was okay and not that flavorful. Honestly, I wouldn't mind shelling out $20+ cocktail if it packed a punch with flavor and well-balanced. These cocktails didn't measure up. The Cauliflower Taco was truly bite-size and was the teeny tiniest taco I've ever seen. I wasn't a big fan of the flavor, so I was glad that it was gone within 2 bites. After spending $60+ on 2 drinks and tiny taco, I was ready to go home disappointed. Our server was friendly. Maybe I didn't order the right drinks? I might come back to try another round of drinks, but not sure if I'm willing to dish out another $20+ cocktail.

Sorry for the late post. I was really excited when my husband surprised me with a birthday dinner…read morereservation at Churasko last Saturday 3/28, but I'll admit I was a little nervous after seeing some mixed reviews on Yelp. Thankfully, our experience turned out to be absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, the host was warm, welcoming, and very patient as we figured out which dining option we wanted. She clearly explained the different experiences--from the churrasco and Wagyu offerings to the sushi and small plates--and gave us time to look over the menu without any pressure. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with great ambiance and music that really set the tone for a special night. My husband chose the Platinum Tier dining experience for my special occasion and it was worth it. Our server, Mike, truly made the entire evening unforgettable. From start to finish, he was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. He took the time to explain each dish, offered great recommendations, and made sure we were always taken care of. We started with Brazilian cheese bread, which was just okay, but the trio of flavored butters (gochujang, black sesame, and regular) was unique and delicious. Then came the Fire & Ice seafood tower, which was not only beautifully presented but also came with a dramatic tableside display. The grilled shrimp and oysters Rockefeller were excellent, and the chilled oysters and sashimi skewers were fresh and flavorful. The lotus chips on the side were also a nice touch. One dish that didn't quite hit for me was the lobster tempura--it was slightly salty and it was a bit soggy when I expected it to be crisp. However, the lobster bisque more than made up for it. It was hands down one of the best I've ever had--the broth was light but yet very rich and flavorful, perfectly executed!!! We were also served a shrimp egg custard that was interesting and enjoyable, though we were already starting to get full at that point! Then came the highlight: the unlimited premium meats. Everything from the A5 Japanese Wagyu to the lamb chops was delicious and high quality. The bone marrow pasta and Wagyu fried rice were standout favorites for us as well. The presentation throughout the entire meal was stunning--every dish felt thoughtfully crafted and visually beautiful. What truly made the night special, though, was Mike. He went above and beyond to make my birthday feel celebrated. He surprised me with all three desserts, a complimentary champagne toast, sparkles candles, and even two beautiful take-home gifts (a set of Japanese-style bowls like the ones used for the lobster bisque, with the restaurant's name on them). That level of thoughtfulness meant so much to us. We had so much food that we couldn't finish everything, and Mike kindly allowed us to pack up what we couldn't finished to take home. Overall, this was an incredible experience with outstanding service. Honestly, it was far better than when my husband took me to Hell's Kitchen a few years ago--we spent just as much there but received nowhere near the level of service or even a simple birthday acknowledgment. Highly recommend Churasko, and if you can, ask for Mike--he will take amazing care of you!

We paid Michelin star prices for airport lounge food. That is how I can describe it. The silver and gold packages per person ARE NOT WORTH IT. They give you unlimited wine and beer but it's not wine you get to choose and they were out of the Japanese beer my brother wanted. They have house sake but you can't choose the sake you want. For the cost of what we paid per person (which includes tip) and the service reflects that. You could tell our server didn't want to come to our table very much at all. The only thing that blew me away with the gold package which is what we got was the grilled pineapple. The silver package sits you in the silver section with the silver buffet. The gold package sits you in the gold section with the gold buffet. You get the point so your party all has to do one of them...then there's the platinum which I will never find out about because it's NOT WORTH IT. I thought we were going to get lobster and oysters and all of the wagyu tacos I saw on instagram. I come to find out that is the à la carte menu and it is probably way cheaper than what we paid. The most disappointing thing was that we were told we were getting something called Australian and American Wagyus??? Yeah they were awful pieces of meat. I wanted the Japanese A5 Wagyu seared in front of me for $150 a person at a JAPANESE STEAKHOUSE. It's not the American steakhouse or the Australian steakhouse...it's Japanese...The Filet and Picanha were the softest pieces of meat they offered but even then I could have cooked and eaten better at home. Thank goodness the one great thing is that they didn't charge us for the 2 kids because there was no way they were going to eat $150 worth of food each. If they had charged us for the kids, it definitely would have been highway robbery. The sushi at their "airport lounge like buffet" wasn't great either. The sushi and seaweed salad was sitting out for awhile. It was my brother's birthday and we didn't get a cake- you could only choose 1 of 3 desserts from their buffet. I wanted to try the 4 milks cake but since we didn't know or do the à la carte we were limited to what they offered in the gold package. The ambience and vibes are cool. But definitely just stay downstairs and order off their menu. To do it right I would have gotten the first drink on the house for ladies at dusk and ordered from menu. I hate these kinds of steakhouses because you're always left feeling like you didn't get the quality -- you just got quantity. We felt defeated and I could have eaten better at Capital Grille or gone to a Michelin and at least would have felt more wow-ed! -after a $1,220 for 6 people, I honestly want my money back...

The same server opens the refrigerator and pulls out the Mochi with his Bare Hands that I witnessed him use to eat his food and wipe his face before I walked into that door. I actually live in Japan and eat mochi regularly. There was nothing special about that Mochi in taste being 5 dollars. Jinya Ramen Bar offers a trendy, modern, metropolitan atmosphere. The space has a lively energy, with techno/disco-style music playing in the background, a full bar, and televisions featuring sports programming. The crowd appeared to include a number of younger couples, which added to the overall vibrant feel. I ordered the Chicken Yuzu Shio Delight and customized it with spicy bean sprouts, fresh garlic, and chicken wontons (each an additional charge). The dish arrived hot--which I always appreciate--and was exactly what I was looking for: flavorful, well-balanced, and satisfying without being too heavy. My kids ordered from the children's menu and clearly enjoyed their meals--they liked it so much that they asked for more noodles. I ended up sharing some of mine and ultimately ordered an additional bowl. The staff was very accommodating throughout, which made the experience even better. The restaurant is family-friendly, even with a bar as a central feature (which we did not utilize). The host was welcoming, and the staff presented a cohesive, modern look with all-black attire. While the style is clearly part of the restaurant's trendy aesthetic, some aspects of the dress may be a matter of personal preference (too short in my opinion, I would not like my daughters wearing such short attire).
