General Tao Chicken
Mr N.

Fast, Friendly, and Authentic! My cousin and I stopped by Chopsticks in Herndon for dinner and were really impressed. He ordered the General Tso's Chicken, and I had the Beef and Broccoli--both dinner-sized portions and packed with flavor. The food came out quickly, the service was friendly, and everything tasted fresh and authentic. Great spot for quality Chinese cuisine. We'll definitely be back!

This was the oil the "C17. Thai Lemongrass Chicken" was swimming in

I accidentally clicked on Chopsticks instead of my go-to of Chopsticks House for delivery and I decided to give them a try since they carried a larger variety of Asian dishes. I ordered: Shrimp Toast Thai Lemongrass Chicken Sautéed Broccoli The shrimp toast had decent flavor but was soggy. And the main thing I look forward to w shrimp toast is it being crispy! So, that was a bummer. As I was eating the Thai Lemongrass Chicken I totally forgot that's what it was supposed to be because it truly tasted just like oily tasteless regular chicken and mixed veggies. EPIC FAIL! The Sautéed Broccoli was also swimming in oil but it was cooked appropriately because it still had a nice snap to it. Needless to say, this will be my first and last time ordering from here .... and back to CHOPSTICKS HOUSE I go!!!

The low ratings were not reflective of my experience. The Sushi was good, service timely and atmosphere as expected. Cale was decent.

The food was just okay. I ordered a spring roll, sushi, Hunan shrimp and the Pu Pu platter. The spring roll was good. The Hunan shrimp wasn't authentic it contain celery and no onions. The sushi rolls were presented nicely, tasted good but to big and rice fell apart. The Pu Pu platter was horrible and a complete waste of money!

They provided a plate. Good touch.

Excellent food and the delivery service has always been fast. My favorites tend to be their dinner specialties. Highly recommend.

The ambiance inside is casual-classy. It is a good place to eat with coworkers or for a first date. The service was really good as well. Our waiter did a great job presenting our drinks and pouring the matcha lemonade. He made thoughtful recommendations and was very funny too. The food also was high quality and moderately priced. The miso eggplant was a nice sized appetizer for sharing and was seasoned nicely. The chicken ramen was also the perfect amount of spicy, had a good ratio of noodles to broth to vegetables, and was presented well. The dishes paired well with the matcha lemonade, which was aesthetically presented, had a subtle sweet lychee flavor, and was perfectly balanced. I've been to other Jinya's and this experience matched the quality and service of the other times. I'd definitely recommend coming here if you're craving ramen!

Torn between 4 and 5 stars. Found the place on Yelp but didn't read up on the reviews. Just saw…read morethe pictures and it looked good, but as soon as I got there, I was regretting my decision because I thought I'd be overpaying for basic or poor-quality food at a high-end restaurant in a newly developed posh neighborhood. We sat down on a Sunday afternoon in a somewhat empty restaurant, and the menu prices kinda confirmed my suspicions ($20/ramen). We all ordered different bowls of ramen and tried each other's broths. All of it was very savory and delicious. Tan Tan Men - rich, thick, savory, sesame-flavored broth, minus the spicy oil since I'm a lightweight. Think a fusion of Chinese Dan Dan noodles + Japanese ramen. It was delicious. Tonkatsu - not to be confused with Tonkotsu (with an O) ramen bowls... this was the actual fried cutlet, which was on the small side. To me, it looked like it was advertised more like a side to a special dish ($10), but our waiter said it was really more of a standalone dish. It came with a bowl of rice and slaw. It was a perfect option for our kid, though they also have a kids' menu deal as well. Overall, it was a very delicious and pleasant experience. If all you want is great food, there are probably cheaper options, but if you want to celebrate a special occasion, this seems like a great option. The free parking garage is right nearby, too.

If you're between the poached chicken and the fried chicken, I would go with the fried chicken. The poached chicken was a little dry. - [Khao Man Gai Tod*]: This is the fried chicken rice set and comes with a sweet chili sauce. I've only ever ordered takeout from Kindi Chicken Rice but I liked that the fried chicken was still crispy and juicy when I brought it back home. Would I order again? : I would order again if I'm in the mood. When I was living in Philly, I used to love frequenting Cily Chicken Rice, which was also a Thai-style hainanese chicken rice spot. So, when I moved to NOVA, I was excited to find a similar restaurant nearby. Unfortunately, Kindi Chicken Rice isn't quite as good but it's still pretty decent. The ginger-garlic rice doesn't have enough garlic flavor and was a little dry. Also, I didn't like the ratio of chicken to rice; there was only six pieces of chicken for all the rice that was given. Lastly, the daikon soup had the classic peppery taste but lacked salt/umami flavor. But I did like that the daikon was sliced whereas the daikon in the Cily Chicken Rice soup is just one hunk of daikon.

I'm a big sandwich fan and generally make them at home because most shops don't add enough meet or toppings. I think I found my new sandwich shop. Checked out the menu and had to decide between the roast pork and broccolini or panko breaded fried chicken sandwich. Both sounded good, but after I found out the roast pork shoulder is made in house, the decision became really easy. My friends ordered the fried chicken with double chicken ($4.00 upgrade). The staff were very friendly and efficient. It was close to closing but everyone was super nice. They called us to pick up our orders and I was somewhat surprised by the feel of my sandwich. It has some heft to it. I sat down, opened it, and you can see what I had in the photo. Good bread can make or break a sandwich. My sandwich roll was slightly toasted with a good crunch and the inner part was nice and chewy. The sandwich had the perfect ratio of pork and broccolini and was covered in melted cheese and had a mayo/mustardy sauce. There was also just a touch of what tasted like crushed red pepper which just set the sandwich off. I was thinking Reading Terminal Market level of good. My buddies chicken sandwich was ridiculous. Two fried chicken breasts with all the toppings on a nice roll. It was tasty. This place is a real deal sandwich shop. The have the standard sodas and also have Dr. Brown's, Perrier water, San Pellegrino, draft beer, and other beers and seltzer drinks in cans. The chips are the Dirty and Route 11 chips. It's like they selected the best things to go with their sandwiches. Location is a little tricky to find and parking is tight, but it's totally worth the trip. I will definitely be back, but probably get everything to go. If you want a really good sandwich that is stuffed with filling for a fair price, you need to come here and try it out. You won't be disappointed!
