When taking it to the girl at the counter, she said, sure which one do you want, so he ordered a different one. Ok, so admittedly I maybe should have figured it out from the name but I didn't expect every salad to be a "chop salad". I just assumed it was clever marketing to reference a salad restaurant. I love salads but I don't love "chopped salads". I like the concept of this place, the menu has a lot of ingredients to choose from and I was VERY excited to give it a try, nice to see a healthy quick option nearby. The man who took my order was extremely polite, this part of the experience was great. When I got home and actually started eating the salad was where it all went downhill. To me this was like someone took all of the ingredients, dumped them in a blender and hit the high button. It was a mushy flavorless mess less than 10 minutes after I ordered it. I prefer larger crispier pieces of lettuce, spinach or whatever greens are in it. The greens were literally chopped into pieces not much larger than rice. I honestly took about 10 bites and threw it in the trash. I would have thrown it there after 5 but I was hungry. I had high hopes for this place but I'm sad to say it was likely one of the worst salads I've eaten, and I eat them often. The only reason I am giving the two stars I am is because the staff was pleasant, the place was clean and it's a cool concept... Sadly, not enough for me to return however. The young man behind the counter was very patient and understanding with this first timer. The menu can be overwhelming the first time you see it, a lot of choices to choose from. I ordered a chopuritto and a salmon salad. Although their bowl is not as big as Chipotle's I prefer it, as you get to pick any 6 items on their menu board to add to the rice and beans.
