I was at the AMC close by and decided to stop in since they were so close to one another. Shocked to see they had closed; it didn't even strike me to check to see if they were still in business. I always came over to this one if I was in the area and truth is, it has been a while. Figured I might as well check other locations, and Glendale is the sole standing one (Van Nuys is in a ghost kitchen) so I hope Glendale stays open since there isn't another option nearby. When they were operating, food was always good and the service was nice as well. I'm sad to see them go. read more

I am so sad this location is closing! Chop Stop was my go-to for a quick and easy lunch when I didn't want to prep food for work. Perfect portion, reasonably priced, and I am able to customize just to how I want. I feel horrible for the employees as the owner has turned off the air and WiFi in the past month. Imagine working in 80+ degree weather, ooof! Unfortunately, I was not able to support one last time as they are now only accepting cash - are you trying not to make some money?? The Glendale location is too far for me. I'm going to have to DIY my salad now. read more

All big ups to chop stop. I wish there was one closer to me. You walk in expecting a salad, and walk out feeling like you just closed a deal--clean, clear, and full of leafy vengeance. Staff always bring a smile, are efficient, and know how to build a mean salad. The only downside is the parking lot outside and how busy it can get. read more

Chop Stop is a salad place for people who don't like salads, AKA me. I'm sure people who do enjoy salads like it too but I wouldn't know from personal experience. Chop Stop is amazing because their lettuce to everything else ratio is on point, meaning all their salads have a ton of other yummy stuff on top so you almost forget that you're eating a salad! They also cut their lettuce into smaller pieces than most places do so it's easier to eat and not feel like a rabbit. My personal favorites are the Santa Fe Chop (Roasted Chicken + Avocado + Pepper Jack Cheese + Corn + Black Beans + Tortilla Strips + sub in the Creamy Chipotle Dressing), and the BBQ Chop (Double Barbecue Chicken + Tomato + Black Beans + Corn + Tortilla Strips + Ranch Dressing). The Asian Chop and Viva Mexico Chop are great too though! And if you're feeling adventurous, you can get any of the salads wrapped in a tortilla (Chopaninis). Even though the salads are all around $14, the portions are huge and that's a small price to pay to actually enjoy a salad for once, in my opinion. read more

If Chipotle and Cava had a baby, it would be this place. The bowl I ordered was soo filling and tasty. Great variety of toppings and sauces! It was clean inside and I received amazing customer service from the person at the register, who really took their time to walk me through the menu. Will definitely be returning! read more

I just love these style salad spots, always been confused why there aren't more, but hopefully this chain pops up in more spots. This one is different than Simply Salad, but very similar. Portions are smaller, but that's fine by me as long as it is cheaper, which it seems to be. Very similar ingredients to simply. Here I get the quinoa. Dressings are pretty good, I like the simply's a tad better. Super easy and quick. The service here was slightly better than the one in Encino, nothing against the one in Encino. read more

My sister is a big salad eater so we came here. They don't just have salads, they have wraps too. And they don't just have pre-set salad menus, you can also build your own. The lady at the front was friendly and patiently explained how their shop and menu works. This branch is located in a large shopping center with Sprouts. There is adequate available parking spaces. I was thinking about building my own salad but then I saw "Salmon Salad" and went with that instead. My sister got the BBQ Salad. Though both were great, I preferred the BBQ Salad because it was cold and it had heavy filling items like beans and corn. read more

I am a frequent flyer here. I know what I want, I order with the lingo necessary to eliminate confusion and already have the answers to all the questions asked. Santa Fe salad, tossed, to go, yes to bag and utensil/napkin. I received my order, didn't confirm what was in the bag (didn't think I needed to, but learned a lesson there), go to my destination to devour my salad in a hurry and realized it's not tossed. Disappointing, inconvenienced, simple ask. This might be minor issue to some but your a salad shop and getting the tosses or dressing on the side is part of the major few things you are all about. Thanks. read more

Chop Stop - When tossed at home the dressing is never enough, hence I ask to toss in store. - Salad Near Me - Burbank, California

Quick trip to chop stop! The service was good and accomodating. I made a couple of mistakes on my order and they gladly made the adjustments for me. I love their salads and the variety they have. This is a small location but it gets the job done. read more

Ordered and paid for a salad with double chicken and didn't get a SINGLE piece of chicken in my salad. What the heck?!

For all those who eat at this location be careful they'll arbitrarily change your order then pretend like it was an accident. From the moment I walked in I should have known what was up because the customer service is inadequate. I checked my email receipt and I requested one dressing and they gave me another dressing and typed it out on the ticket wrong to make it seemed like that's what I ordered. And they need to take out their garbage and wipe the tables down and sweep the floor. Disgracefully disgusting. read more

If there is someone from corporate reading this, can y'all please open a chop stop in the San Gabriel or Pasadena area? We need some good quick salad options here! So, my problem with salads is that the leaves are too big, and it gets very messy, and I get weirdly enraged by messy foods if I'm not mentally prepared for it to be messy. Went to Chop Stop for the first time a couple weeks ago, and I feel like when restaurants say "chopped salad", sometimes the bits are STILL too big. So when we got there, I got the salmon salad, and asked to just....double check that the pieces within the salad (romaine, other stuff) were like, small enough to fit into my mouth in one bite. I know I know. They looked at me funny, and were like, it's chopped. Ok, I didn't want to seem more a weirdo than I was, so I didn't push the matter and just hoped for the best. And I was not disappointed! Salad was nicely and finely chopped - I could eat it with a fork or even a spoon, and the flavors were delicious! My partner got a Cobb salad, which she enjoyed very much. Service was very friendly and patient, shop was clean. I want to be a regular! Please open one in our area! :) read more

This place is fantastic! The staff is super quick and friendly. I had the Cobb Salad for lunch, and it was just perfect. I'm already looking forward to trying more of their salads. Plus, they're eco-conscious--the bowls are compostable, and the tops are recycled, which is awesome! read more

I never thought I would actually enjoy a meal at a salad place, but I did. I had an amazingly delicious meal at Chop Stop. I ordered the South Western chopurrito bowl which comes with black beans, Double Roasted chicken, cheddar cheese, tomato, jalapeños and tortilla chips. You also have the option to make any bowl burrito - style wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla. The meal was delicious and filling. Who knew? Service was very friendly and welcoming. Tip- Do not park in any of the spaces in front of the shop. You will be directly in front of all the cars in the Starbucks drive- thru. Talk about a mission trying to back up. Save yourself the headache and park in the Sprouts lot. read more

So happy Chop Stop brought back the tuna chop -- it's my favorite! I ordered online, and pick up was quick and easy. I added pepproncinis, cheddar, and mixed the balsamic and lemon vinaigrette dressings. The restaurant was clean and had tables for dining in, too. Highly recommend! read more

Chop Stop was... fine. Not bad, not great -- just kind of mediocre overall. The food was decent enough and did the job, but nothing really stood out flavor-wise or presentation-wise. Portions were okay, service was fine, and the place was clean, but it didn't wow me or make me want to rush back. read more

Emily!!!!!! Thank you so much for your hospitality and kindness! My mother and I came here for brunch and ordered salt & pepper chicken with spinach and broccoli. I have been home from work for awhile due to a foot injury, so I have been ordering from Chop Shop to be delivered. The salad is very good and the price is worth it. I think they Nickle and dime you a lot but the times are tough. if they are going to charge extra for things, you should receive them! I paid extra for corn, not only did I not get the allotted amount but I didn't get the extra I pad extra for. I also paid for extra BBQ sauce, i didn't get it. The salad is DELIOUS but paying extra is irritating enough but then when you don't get it, sucks! read more

Do you want to say that the food here is good but the service is just horrible. We were waiting for more than 25 minutes for our sandwich to be ready and you're sitting there in the counter and there's no employees walking back-and-forth and now they can really say to you is sorry They didn't even offer to make a new one. It's been sitting there for like about 30 minutes. worst service ever I will not be coming back here again read more

Staff is very helpful and nice. Pricing. Is very fair especially when considering the large portions. Parking is not an issue. Great variety to their menu. Food is solid. I usually only review an establishment if I have a strong reaction either like or dislike. Sadly, my Chop Stop salad was AWFUL today. Really really AWFUL. I ordered my usual Cobb Chop with chipotle instead of blue cheese, no meat and extra avocado. I could not taste any dressing. The salad had no flavor at all. It tasted like I was just eating lettuce. I have been eating at this place on and off for years and I have never had such a TERRIBLE salad. It was truly awful. Almost $15 bucks for a really crappy salad. The people working there were friendly enough so that was nice. read more

Pros: - Quality salads - Very reasonably priced... go easy on the extras and you're closer to $10 than $20 for a robust salad - Plenty of options - Ranch is fire - The dressing cups don't leave you feeling like you've been robbed at gun point. Solid and respectable size of dressing cup, with extra cups being priced well - Staff is always nice when I've been in Cons: N/A Being from the east coast, I've been searching for a "normal" salad QSR a la Saladworks, but was stuck with the overpriced try-too-hard-to-be-LA chains like Sweetgreen and Tendergreens. Chop Stop is what I was looking for and absolutely my go-to take out salad QSR. Everything you need, nothing you don't, and prices that don't make you want to vomit. read more

I've been to this complex to get Starbucks, Zankou chicken, among other things. My hubby and I had ate a lot of bad food lately, so we wanted some salads. I called ahead and ordered a Kale Chop and got my hubby an Asian chop salad, easy on the dressing. The lady on the phone said that the salads would be ready in 5-10 minutes. I was 15 minutes away so I hopped in the car and picked up my salads. They were nice and light and exactly what we were looking for. I will say easy on the dressing was a bit too light for me, so next time I'd do medium easy, if that's an option. Overall a good place, fresh ingredients and a friendly staff. read more

This deserves negative stars. I ordered tossed Caesar chop salad to go. I was excited to eat a healthy dinner, but when I got home, I realized that my salad has corn, avocado, tomato, and cucumber with Caesar sauce on the side. How can I eat this? Annoying! This restaurant wasted our money and time!. Please refund our money. read more
