Trying out this sandwich spot, jimmy johns, since I hear good things, but there isn't one close to me. Got the spicy Italian. It was good, not great. Service was nice and funny and helpful. Place was clean and quiet. Would get again, if in the area, but not going out of my way for this sandwich.

#7 spicy east coast Italian.

Jimmy John's is a Midwest sandwich chain that's opening more and more locations out here in Southern California. I would put it similar to say a Jersey Mike's, minus the oil and vinegar. I really like Jimmy John's, but I am given it four stars because I would prefer to have the oil and vinegar, just makes the sandwich that much tastier. But overall they have excellent sandwiches and a reasonable price for the most part. You can use the app to make the service quicker and get rewards when ordering, but typically they get you in and out very fast and the various locations I have visited, the staff has always been nice and accommodating to any type of sandwich request you may have. The stores are pretty straightforward typical Sandwich shop nothing over the top, a few quirky sayings on the walls and standard tables that are clean and plenty of room to sit. My most recent visit I got the #7 spicy East Coast Italian, peppers on the side, the peppers have a pretty good spice to them, so they may be spicy for some people. That's why I get them on the side so I can control how much I want in each bite but they're super good. The sandwiches come on a standard French roll. Bread is very tasty. The East Coast Italian has double Genoa salami, double cappocollo and provolone along with peppers and any topping you like. Super tasty. If there is a location near you, check them out. Enjoy!

The servers here are fun and friendly! This attitude always makes my purchases here very pleasant. I always like the sandwiches because I like their bread. If you save your sandwich for the next day it may get soggy so eat it fresh. This is my favorite sandwich place by far!! I highly recommend the Veggie Sandwich!!

Jimmy John's isn't a common franchise in SoCal so I was pleasantly surprised to find one in NoHo. I swung by for nostalgic reasons and was welcome with the signature smell of fresh French bread, aka the "free smell". I got my usual order with extra Jimmy peppers (a must for folks who can handle some spice!) + a side of jalapeño chips, and it took me back to my exam weeks during grad school. The staff were all super friendly and efficient with my order. By the time I finished paying, my sandwich was ready to go. The only downside with this location is the parking situation. There's only street parking available and I had to go around a few times to find a spot. Otherwise, a very good experience!

I know this is a chain restaurant but this location always has the friendliest employees and the sandwiches are always made better than any other JJ location I've been to. Definitely recommend as it's always been a hit for me!

Good wrap, the firecracker wrap has a little kick to it. Good fast service. Wish they had hot wraps and sandwhiches.

I'll add a full review afterward but gotta say THANK YOU to…read moreme very cool staff who do kindly saved me from my own mistake of almost adding TUNA to an Italian deli sandwich. Before I've even tried a bite, they've won me over. Good looking out + confident it's gonna taste great too.

I really REALLY wanted to like this place... The concept of sandwiches and exotic/imported snacks…read moreso fun and different! Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience:( The customer service was cold and unwelcoming from the start. No greeting at all when we walked in, it felt like we were inconveniencing the staff just by ordering. For a specialty shop with premium pricing, the experience should be welcoming or some what friendly from staff?? After all the customers are what keep business open... Speaking of pricing: I fully understand imported snacks come at a markup. But $10 (before tax) for a single soda is excessive. I ordered a BLT, two sodas, chips, and candy, and the total was shockingly high for what we received. There's a difference between niche pricing and feeling taken advantage of. What really sealed it for me, though, was the lack of professionalism. We chose to eat outside, and shortly after, the employee who made our sandwiches came outside and began smoking weed near the seating area. The smell was extremely strong and made me nauseous to the point where I couldn't even enjoy my food. Regardless of personal choices, that's simply not appropriate around customers who are actively eating. As far as the sandwich goes, and why I still have 3 stars- the BLT was exceptional and probably the best I've ever had. I would pay for it again but won't be back due to all other aspects. So take that as you will! A cool concept can only carry a place so far. Between the service, the pricing, and the overall atmosphere, this wasn't an experience I'd repeat.

I am honestly surprised that they are allowed to call themselves "Katz's Deli," since I'm sure I'm not the only one that came here thinking it's the NYC one... anyways... should've read through the yelp reviews closer. Regardless, the quality of the food, particularly the pastrami sandwiches, is very high. The pastrami is diced up into cubes, rather than slices. I would prefer them to be slices but the taste was still amazing. I tried the regular pastrami sandwich ($20) as well as the pastrami reuben sandwich ($23). While both are pastrami sandwiches, I would highly recommend paying the extra $3 to get it as a reuben sandwich, as it comes toasted and with Russian dressing and sauerkraut in it as well. The pastrami sandwich is pretty ordinary but the reuben sandwich is very delicious. The sandwiches also come with your choice of mac salad, potato salad, or coleslaw. We tried one of the mac salad and one potato salad, and they were pretty mid but not bad tbh. Service is nice. I believe the countertop is run by an older couple. It seems like they have been doing this for a while. We waited for about 20-30 minutes for our food. Again, it's located in the back of a liquor store so while we were waiting, we just had to awkwardly stand around in the liquor store. There is seating outside, but it was in the sun and it was a hot day today. We ended up taking the food togo to eat somewhere else. Overall, good food. Feels slightly deceptive with the name but surprised with the great flavors of the food. Solid 4/5.

"Grandma's Hands" sums up the comfort many of us associate with Grandma's cooking. The owners and employees are doing a five-star job at forwarding that kind of comfort to the community and customers here. First of all, everything is freaking deliciousness! Admire the always-on-point "People Love Us On Yelp" sign as you arrive. The free parking lot offers nice and ample parking spaces for disabled customers as well as tables upon arrival which can comfortably accommodate wheelchairs. Now don't get me wrong, I love fancy gastronomy featuring tres Nouveau French culinary techniques just like you but I absolutely ADORE borscht, stuffed cabbage and plav equally. (Even more sometimes!) I've been shopping here and picking up takeout here for a long time. My experiences have only been better over the years. The discounts can be incredible and I appreciate sale-priced groceries in today's economy as well as the opportunity to support local and international farms. Sunflower seeds, sunflower oil, low sugar and no sugar added cookies, pastries and cakes, caviar, dried fish, pickled Herring, perfectly ripe berries, smoked fish, halva, cheese spread, jams, and artisan teas, all five stars. Yep! +Heart hands emoji+ This market does a great job of offering a nice seat and friendly conversation to the average dine-in customer. Stop by to sip on an imported pear juice. Try a bite of fresh cream cheese cake with berries. Ask for advice! Go for the Beef Plav which is an employee favorite. The Beef Plav here contains a generous amount of tender, lean beef with carrots, savory buttery rice and whole softly roasted garlic cloves. Yum! (Five stars!) I've found some especially healthy and nutritious food here for my health recovery goals recently. About six years ago, I had been exposed to high levels of radiation according to a good old fashioned Geiger counter. My health began to drastically decline and I became very weak. No market has helped me more in this health effort than this hidden gem. (Many thanks!) I am the customer who buys ALL the boxes of pastilla. (SORRY OTHER CUSTOMERS!) Pastilla is a layered pastry made of baked apples and eggs white, no sugar and nothing else! It's a miracle of a snack! Tastes like apple cake, made of egg whites. These sandwiches come out piping hot, wrapped tight and ready to go. Crack them open and you're hit with perfectly cooked eggs and an almost ridiculous amount of gooey, melted cheese. Not skimpy, not balanced, loaded in the best possible way. The Kaiser roll deserves its own shoutout: lightly toasted with just enough crunch on the outside while staying soft and pillowy inside. It holds everything together without getting soggy, even with all that cheese. * The meat version had crispy, flavorful bacon layered just right, salty, smoky, and not overdone. * The meatless one didn't feel like a compromise at all, still rich, filling, and honestly just as indulgent thanks to the cheese and eggs. No frills, no gimmicks, just classic deli breakfast sandwiches executed really well. After placing an order on their website, you would park in the back lot where it's free parking, and enter a tempt room of lockers. I wish they included this in the text where you are to CALL THEM to let them know you've arrived so they can bring your order out to you.
