Just be careful -- the heat builds up slowly, so if you're not used to spicy food, go lower on the scale! The portions were generous, everything was very flavorful, and we all ended up taking leftovers home. What stood out the most was the service. Our server was funny, knowledgeable, and gave fantastic recommendations. There's also plenty of free parking, which is always a plus. The only thing missing for me was that the décor doesn't quite match the authenticity and quality of the food, which deserves a bit more character in the atmosphere.

Tempe housed my go to Indian buffet on Rural and university for over 20 years and it closed. The other night picking up a marketplace find I passed this restaurant. I live in central Phoenix and pulled up my favorite app on the way home Yelp popped the restaurant in the app great reviews. Long work day Wednesday so stopped for dinner mind blown. Yup I'll be back for lunch. Saturday head for Lunch buffet the place is packed and the food was amazing. Nothing from the buffet was bad. Again if you see the ethnic culture eating there usually a good sign your taste buds are about to get very happy with your choice. My new Indian food spot & yes I drive 20 minutes to get here. Fluffy Grandma Recommends. Get the mango drink it tastes like a liquid creamsicle it's addictive.

This is restaurant week in the area from 5/15/26 to 5/24/26. We had the prix fix menu and it was outstanding as usual. The atmosphere definitely says Fine Dining. The service is excellent and our server, Angelica, was no exception to the many great servers we have met over the years. Her passionate input on our selections was extremely helpful. They have a full bar. On this trip, the $44 steal of a price included 3 courses and a side of rice or naan. We started with the Bhelpuri Avocado which is like a mix of puffed rice and avocado. The contrast of the crispy rice and flavorful and creamy avocado was a server suggestion and I am thrilled she did. The table next to us was also vocally registering their excitement with the dish. My wife went with the Parsi Lamb Keema which is like having the popular street food, Pav Bahji with a fantastically flavorful lamb stew with just the right amount of heat, served with buns like sliders. For the main courses we had the ever popular and best ever Butter Chicken made even more enjoyable with a dip of the Garlic Naan made fresh in house to order. Super tender naan. I went with the other server suggestion of Fish Curry which was an incredible mix of very crisp exterior yet moist interior sea bass swimming in a delicious curry. Never ordered before but again, thank you Angelica. Finally desert was the Gulab Jamon Cheesecake. Unique and very tasty ending to a fantastic meal. Even if you missed restaurant week, this is a must visit place for foodies.

We were very surprised we were the only ones dining but we were extremely well looked after and welcomed. This is a family run business and you can tell. The owners are very proud of the heritage and their cuisine. We let our server (Mrs Owner) choose our dishes and we loved every one of them. The restaurant is a large space which is tiled and glass, so could get noisy if the room was full of people but somehow I don't think that will be too much of an issue. This review is 2months after we are there so I can't remember exactly what we had, but it WAS good. We always support local family restaurants in Tempe. If you're looking good northern Indian cuisine, you can't go wrong.

Takeout needed and this place has always caught my eye. They share a parking lot with Sprouts so I've been wanting to stop in. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala ($19.99) and the Khatti Dal ($10.99) for takeout. First of all, that chicken tikka masala was fire. It was aromatic, fragrant, and the spice level was perfect. The khatti dal on the other hand, it wasn't for me. Not to say it was bad, I just didn't quite care for it. Since it was a takeout order, I can't comment too much about the service but this place is massive. Plenty of seating, lots of parking, and great food. I would definitely order from here again.

I finally got around to placing an order for takeout. I ordered a tikka masala and a new-to-me dish khatti dal. The tikka masala slaps. Good heat at medium, super flavorful, and the chicken was juicy. The khatti dal was not for me though. It's a little too tangy so I don't think I'll be ordering this dish again. I like it. This place is really spacious and there plenty of seating. I would definitely order takeout from this place again.
