Gears & old-fashioned lighting fixtures along w/a large aquarium right in the middle of the bar. The ladies bathroom was very clean (which is a big deal!) & was decorated w/cool lighting fixtures & a fun mirror. The menu selection is quite abundant. Many different burger choices that looked good so several visits to try everything that sounded good will be necessary. I ended up trying the Mac n Cheese & a half Chicken BLT salad w/ranch. The bacon on the salad was so good. The Mac n Cheese was flavorful & creamy. I enjoyed a Canyon Road Moscato & it too was delicious. The waitress was very friendly & attentive. Went in here right before the Covid crisis in March. This place is a Gem. Atmosphere is amazing. Lots to look at and an aquarium behind the bar. Decor is a cyberpunk theme. The food menu is different, like bar food in the sense you can get hamburgers and wings but on a grand scale and much higher standards as you'd see in the fanciest of restaurants. I wish I could describe this place better cause I know I'm not doing it justice. The food is phenomenal. You've got to come in here and see it for yourself. read more

Seemed like a really cute place to try out while in Adrian. They had great prices for their menu and drinks! When we arrived we were seated right away and food came out quickly. The house salad was not what it was described to be: it was overloaded with onions and the dressing was thick like jam. The appetizer was perfect! We had the pretzels and cheese. The reallllllly big issue were the cocktails. The sour was made in a tall glass and had a very very cherry taste (not a splash), the first order of a whiskey ginger was super sour, but that was a waitress mistake. Chomp burger has been a delight both times my family and I have stopped in. The burgers are wonderful but the best part may be the garlic parm fries as an appetizer with the crushed garlic and whole parmesan all over them. Phenomenal! And they make great milkshakes with a big enough straw to actually drink the milkshake through! Love this place. Will be frequenting. read more

This was my family and I first time eating here. It was around 1:00 pm they where kinda slow. Took about 10 minutes to get a seat. Our waitress was slow. We ordered burgers and they weren't all that great. Im from temperance mi and I had better burgers for that price that they are charging. Fries came out cold. Waitress had to take them back. Several issues. Had the organic burger and friend had the bison. So disappointed in the food. Burgers very dry. The sweet potatoes overcooked. The tomatoes were 2 small roma tomato slices. the gluten bun did not taste that good and it fell apart. the filled onions not cooked enough. Really cool steampunk/deep sea diving theme in this place. I've been here three or four times now and order the same burger every time, Tesla's Jalepeno with double the tear jerker option (fresh slices of habanero). It's a pretty good burger overall with decent heat. I'd like to see some hotter peppers offered, but I might be the only one asking for it so it might not be a viable option for the business. The fries have been cooked perfectly every time I've had them. The Bacon Mac fries are an interesting option, with mac & cheese, diced bacon, and maple syrup on them. I found the syrup gets to be too sweet around the halfway point, so the last time I ordered this I had the syrup omitted and it worked out well. I tasted my wife's Queen's Blueberry burger, and while I liked it quite a bit, I still opt for the heat every time. read more

A very stylish steampunk-themed restaurant, they have good food ( I like to get their chicken sandwich) at a reasonable price. You can add a sundae onto your meal for 2 dollars, very nice! The lunch crowd was sparse so we were able to be seated quickly. Our waiter (Mike) was very tentative and grabbed our drink order quickly. He did ask us about appetizers and answers a couple of questions as well. Our order was taken and food arrived in a timely fashion and was all correct. Over all our waiter did an excellent job of making sure our drinks were full and we were happy. The food was good and the variety was solid. My expectation for a place called Chomp burger was that I was getting a high quality burger. I didn't not feel the burger itself was anything other then frozen. The topping were excellent and the size was good. Overall I feel it is a bit pricey for the area for a burger and fries. The inside has a small bar that sits in the center. With a group of 6, the chances of getting an order correct would be high. The only thing that came to the table without an issue was a salad. Overcooked and undercooked burgers, missing ingredients, things requested off were present, you name it. When only asked for a few currents because everyone was tired and hungry. On top of that, the server was never around when we needed him. I ordered a cocktail and water. It's safe to say that my water was empty the entire night. I don't care if it was busy (it wasn't), but during a heat wave at the end of summer, make sure everybody is hydrated. Unique burger bar. Cool atmosphere with an Interesting steampunk decor. Waitstaff and hostess were very friendly and helpful. They were great with our littles. My boyfriend works in Adrian but I am from Cleveland where there is a huge and thriving food scene. I am always sad at a lack of good restaurants in the area, but I have to admit I really love chomp burger! We do not eat meat and love that you can sub a black bean patty for any of their burgers here. Beer on tap is great, service is fast and friendly, and ambiance is a little slice of urban life in an otherwise rural location. Almost every time we go here I have to get the blueberry burger - I crave the blueberry BBQ sauce it is so good! Also can't get enough of the honey sriracha fries. What a nice place to go and unwind. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere appealing and food and drinks delicious. I've been there twice and was treated like an old friend. Just finished the meal and here are the immediate impressions: Food quality is good to great. Had a burger that seemed to have excellent flavors in the meat, toppings, and bun respectively. Fries that come with burger were made fresh and fully cooked - crisp and browned (personal peve is undercooked fries). Staff is moderately attentive, but sometimes need to be flagged down (completely independent of whether floor is crowded or not). Asked for sample of specialty fries to see if full order was worth it (garlic cilantro fries - discovered not really to my taste). Only asked for one or two but they brought out almost a full order as a sample - no charge (glad they did that regardless). Decor and building is new and industry themed. Clean, but relatively sterile. Biggest complaint: overpriced for portions and location. Adrian is a nice little MI town, but this is not downtown Chicago. Wife and I each had a burger (only water for drinks) and the bill with tip was almost $50. Might revisit next time in the area, but will strongly consider other places too. read more

Stopped in visiting family from Chicago. This totally felt like a downtown Chicago kind of place. It was nice atmosphere and food came pretty quick. Burgers looked great. I ordered a nacho and was kind of confused as to why the shredded cheddar was not melted on them, but t was otherwise good. The single waitress trying to handle everybody was clearly overwhelmed and we had to remind her for a few things but she was doing a good cheerful job for being clearly overloaded(maybe someone called off? I have read the other reviews in regards to the food, but overall I was very impressed. Mushroom burger had great flavor and was properly prepared. I've never been here before and upon coming into town had time to grab lunch before my next meeting. The reviews seemed ok and I was in the mood for a burger & fries, so decided to check it out. Nice atmosphere and design. I was seated quickly and there were plenty of people, so I was encouraged. I ordered a coke, a "classic" style burger with lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mustard and mayo and fries as my side. I felt it took longer than it should have for my food to arrive, but it is a newer establishment so I figured they were still working out the kinks. My food arrived and I was initially a bit disappointed in the thickness of the burger patty. Additionally, the burger & fries "looked" colder than I would have expected. Upon taking a few fries and a bite of my burger, I was correct. Both were lukewarm. I like my hot food hot and this was not the case. Hard to evaluate the quality of the burger being the temperature it was. The fries, had they been hot, would have been pretty good. Server was a bit slow and inattentive - I wrote the majority of this review after I finished my meal and before she cleared my plate and brought me my bill. Did not live up too the hype. The bloody Mary I had might have been one of the worst I have had in a long time. Not sure what kind of mix they use but it tasted like it was strained through a sock. The burger I had was ok but nothing that would bring me back and the chili tasted like it was out of a can from the store. May still go back to try out the bison or elk burger. read more
