My wife and I visited for the first time tonight. We had no real expectations, and often, that is a good thing. She had received a gift card, which we wanted to use, and it had been a rough day, with [brief description of the rough day]. But I will get to that in a minute. If you're expecting a typical martini bar and tapas place, you might want to reconsider. This place is all about its unique charm, and the 'regulars' wouldn't have it any other way. There's a distinct 'locals vibe' here, and in the summer, you might even spot a few Harleys parked outside. It's not about meeting your expectations, it's about creating a sense of community. And it was fun! Sometimes, there is live music; on other nights, there is a DJ; and on Thursdays, it is Karaoke night. And tonight being Thursday, the Karaoke performances were enthusiastic if not... Well, they were enthusiastic!! *smile* Mae (May?) was a kind and friendly server who did everything possible to make our visit a good experience. The food is good, "bar-style," and the drink options are plentiful. We met Steve (owner? or manager?). He is a very nice guy. He answered a few questions for us and made us feel welcome. In the future, he might work the place over into a steakhouse type of restaurant and Adrian REALLY could use one of these downtown. But the star of the show is Kujo! The bar dog. Now wait, a dog in a bar...yes, Kujo is a certified service/therapy dog. By law, he goes anywhere his human takes him. SUPER friendly and remarkably gentle, I would return to this place just to visit the dog! But I will try a burger next time. read more

They have FANTASTIC burgers! I use to hang out there a lot a while back. When they have live music, that's the place to be.

Saturday night visit for a friend's birthday party. I haven't heard good things about bars in downtown Adrian, but Brick Wall Pub is going to change that perception. I didn't recognize the place, as I was told we had visited a few years ago, and has since been renovated. Large, clean, good use of the space and now serving food. Good food. The menu is small but interesting. Those of us there for dinner were drooling over each other's dishes, as they all looked like delectable dinners. Nothing on the menu is strange but all was done well. There was a small problem with my order, for which the waitress was on top of the issue, replaced it straight away, and took my meal off the bill. I wasn't expecting that, and it was a very nice comfort to be in a place that takes care of their patrons. I had the drink special all night - Texas Margarita. I was hesitant but it was good. Service was outstanding. We had one main waitress all night and she hustled for us and we didn't get an attitude when asking for waters in between drinks. Hydration is important when drinking for celebration. The Metros was the band on stage. Looked like they were short a member but still rocked their sets. The large dance floor was inviting and necessary for the party atmosphere. I would not hesitate to hang out at the Brick Wall Pub again. This is a really nice place for a casual evening with friends, where you can hang out all night. Security in the building, small cover charge ($2), pool tables, and entertainment. DO NOT RECCOMEND! Very disappointed in service. Waited half an hour before I was addressed. Then waited another 2 hours for an order that never came. Garbage place. I left hungry, disappointed, thirsty, and in a foul mood with no late night options available. Tell your staff to get their head out of their ass and pay attention to tables with no drinks at them. You girl with he long braid needs to be fired. She waited every table around me for 2 and a half hours before finally addressing me 10 minutes before close. read more

No idea how the food is. Went in before a show at The Croswell Theater. We had an hour for dinner, however, it be took 45 minutes to get most of our food. We kept asking the waitress and we're told it was "being plated". Appetizers came out with some of the food, one item, a salad mind you, we never got. Then we were asked to pay for it. My wife and I ate here during the week. We were greeted immediately and the waitress and bartender were very friendly and did a great job. The issue we had dealt with the food. The food was not consistent. I ordered a club sandwich and half of the sandwich had a suitable amount of meat, not a lot but enough, while the other half had about half of that amount of meat. This half of sandwich had the equivalent of two thin slices of lunch meat and a small piece of bacon. My recommendation to this restaurant is to provide a decent amount of toppings/fillings on your sandwiches if you are going to charge $10.50 for a sandwich. I felt like I was paying a lot for the ciabatta bread. We eat out often and get way more for the money at other restaurants. I don't say that to insult this restaurant but just a recommendation based on other restaurant visits. Additionally, my wife's soup was only ok. It's a more sensible alternative in crappy Adrian. And that's about it. I don't feel like expensive drinks at a place visited out of lack of options/ inability to head to A2 so the free pool (thurs and Tues) with cheap drinks draws me. Bar Tender Amanda's sweet. At such places with relatively not fun ambiences I tend to not wanna spend, so if they paid heed to that factor and were cheap I'd see the point. We went there to see The Soaring Eagles play. The acoustics were very good and the band really good. The drinks were good and reasonably priced. Will be going back here soon. read more

This is a nice little place that opened about a year ago in what used to be kind of a low-end bar. They've really cleaned it up, and added a kitchen with a nice menu -- limited right now, but I believe the plan is to put in a full kitchen and start doing steaks, etc. The staff is creative with the specials, and if you're in the mood for something you don't see on the menu, just ask -- if they have the ingredients in stock, they'll make something up for you. A nice rotating selection of beer with occasional tap takeover events. And the staff knows their beers well, so you can always get a good recommendation. It's quiet earlier in the evening and on weeknights, louder on the weekends. There's a DJ or a band most Fridays and Saturdays. Definitely looking forward to the expansions, because downtown Adrian could use a nice steakhouse, and based on other experiences with their food, I'm sure they'll do it well. read more

We just came upon this place and I ask the waitress what was good. She said everything and I asked what her favorite was. She said the Norman. Ok yeah she called out a good one. I love it! They have every vodka known to man!! I will definently come back maybe to hear the band on Saturday nights. read more

Awful establishment the ownership is poor and not customer oriented. There's other places in Adrian that deserve your business more.
