She stayed on top of refills, sides, and condiments, and made sure our order was exactly right. The food came out hot and delicious. We especially love the giant crepes, breakfast burritos, and Texas-style breakfast skillet. The entire staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and even the bathrooms were spotless. Elizabeth and the whole team keep us coming back with their friendliness and the genuine care they put into taking care of their guests. Definitely recommend Family Kitchen!

The friend warned me that there have been many complaints about cockroaches in the restaurant so I sat in the parking lot for a minute, deciding whether to take a chance and wound up coming on home. So maybe whenever the new owner decides to hire an exterminator every so many months like most restaurants have to do, I guess I won't be going back even though I have been all very regular customer. When John was there, my husband and I would be in three times a week. After. he died, I'm usually there at least twice. It's where my grandson and daughter look forward to going when they come down from Ann Arbor

The draft beers were the coldest I've ever seen and felt served! The PBR was perfect from the draft. They have a pizza buffet with a handful of pizzas, salad bar and dessert. The pizza was replaced promptly and the flavors were really good. The cinnamon bread sticks were buttery and delicious I'd totally stop in here again and highly recommend.

This one looked great. Tasted good and fresh too. Burger was good. We had a fishbowl margarita, calzone, sweet potato fries, and smash burger for under $23! Service was nice. She hustled. Restaurant was clean though I hope they take care to wipe down the doors and glass too, not just the floors and tabletops. Even saw a manager hop up to help clear tables as customers left. Two thumbs up!

She had received a gift card, which we wanted to use, and it had been a rough day, with [brief description of the rough day]. But I will get to that in a minute. If you're expecting a typical martini bar and tapas place, you might want to reconsider. This place is all about its unique charm, and the 'regulars' wouldn't have it any other way. There's a distinct 'locals vibe' here, and in the summer, you might even spot a few Harleys parked outside. It's not about meeting your expectations, it's about creating a sense of community. And it was fun! Sometimes, there is live music; on other nights, there is a DJ; and on Thursdays, it is Karaoke night. And tonight being Thursday, the Karaoke performances were enthusiastic if not... Well, they were enthusiastic!! *smile* Mae (May?) was a kind and friendly server who did everything possible to make our visit a good experience. The food is good, "bar-style," and the drink options are plentiful. We met Steve (owner? or manager?). He is a very nice guy. He answered a few questions for us and made us feel welcome. In the future, he might work the place over into a steakhouse type of restaurant and Adrian REALLY could use one of these downtown. But the star of the show is Kujo! The bar dog. Now wait, a dog in a bar...yes, Kujo is a certified service/therapy dog. By law, he goes anywhere his human takes him. SUPER friendly and remarkably gentle, I would return to this place just to visit the dog! But I will try a burger next time.

This was strange as it was dinner time and most songs played by live performers aren't as loud. They did quiet down for a bit, it wasn't our favorite. The food took some time. I got a Ruben and it was absolutely delicious, they did however forget to bring it, everyone else's food came much sooner. One of us got a Smash burger... my goly this thing was smaller than a slider. It was $11 for a slider and a few fries. That's a scam. Drinks were a little on the heavier side of the price but they did not disappoint, besides with how long they took to come. I would come back again for the Ruben if it was CHEAPER it was $16 that's not bad for a Ruben. However, this thing was smaller than a burger. Everyone was very nice though.

So I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich with onion rings and a side of their ranch and their onion dip sauce. The sandwich was HUGE very lightly battered and tasty. I only finished half of it bc it was a really generous portion. They do not carry Wood Chuck or Angry Orchard, so I was recommended to try their Sangria Cider and it was good, but after I had it it was a bit sweet so I changed to a blue moon. My husband had the Reuben sandwich and tater tots and he was happy with his meal he finished it all. Looking forward to having another one soon!

Our food came out in a timely fashion with our sides/ appetizers coming out a good amount before our entrees. I always get the blackbird sandwich without cheese but it just wasn't the same as a remember it. The sweet potato fries are phenomenal though, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
