Great Italian food! Just like homemade......Tuscany soup and chicken parmigiana are fabulous. It is a small unpretentious place with simple layout and standard tables and chairs. Someone is always there eating and it can get a little crowded on Friday and Saturday nights. Police often stop in to eat. Did I mention the incredible homemade pies, either full or by the slice? Blueberry and peanut butter pies are my favorites! We stop by or get take-out regularly and our friends all enjoy it too. Staff is always friendly and the food is ready quickly. read more

Go, go, go!!The food is amazing! We started with mozzarella sticks and they were fresh, not frozen! They're the best I've ever had, they were actually juicy. I had the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich with fries. The sandwich was full of flavor. The tender beef with grilled peppers and onions was perfectly seasoned, on just the right bun. Hubby had Chicken Alfredo which looked amazing. The chicken was grilled, moist and plentiful. The building is small and seating is limited. It was a very busy evening in the diner and takeout was hopping. We waited for a table. Once we were seated it was all hands on deck getting orders, cleaning tables, serving, etc. The crew wanted nothing more than to make customers happy. Would have given them 0 stars if I could because after 30 minutes of waiting, except for water, that is exactly what we got...nothing. Came in today shortly after they opened. We were the first ones there. Shortly after sitting we ordered water, coffee, and 2 sandwiches. 10 minutes or so later others started coming in. We waited and waited. No coffee, no sandwiches, no nothing. People were coming in and leaving with to go orders. The dining room was filling up and we still only had water. 30 minutes after ordering we still did not have coffee or our food and they were serving food to the people that came in 10 or more minutes after we had ordered. I went to the counter and told the waiter he was serving people that came in 10 minutes or more after we did and we still had nothing including the coffee we ordered 30 minutes ago. He looked confused and said nothing. He walked 5 steps away, turned and came back and still said nothing. He never said a word so I said forget it I am leaving. Will not be going back. I came because of the great Yelp reviews. I left somewhat disappointed. First of all, the atmosphere and seating is average to below average for a diner or bar. Really have to step up the service and food to make it special. My son got the smash burger and I got the cheesesteak. We both rated them 'average'. You can get the same elsewhere, maybe for a little more. (Prices here are very fair!!). The service is what lost a star. Our server forgot all about us after delivering our food. I think she was busy preparing carry out. No pop refills or clearing plates. Then we sat for several minutes after finishing our meal. I finally had to go up front and ask for the check. I don't write 2 and 3 star reviews to be mean. Sometimes a restaurant needs a little feedback, so here it is. read more

The owner is a retired history teacher and Booher's is in Napoleon, Ohio, so don't be shocked at the many Napoleons you see inside... I would eat here again and again - the smash burger on a great bun was top notch, the chicken wrap was "order again" good, the fries are housemade and served hot. Second time in a row they added onions,which I'm allergic to, on my food. I said plain with nothing but cheese. Still the onions. Call them just a sorry you've been unable to eat twice in a row. No solution no anything. Like they don't care. We were going at least once a month to support local but now I've bought two meals and eaten zero. So we are done. We will no longer be guests. Should really work on how you treat things you mess up. Not just say well the kitchen should have read the ticket. That doesn't feed me or give any solution. read more

Came across this cute little place and so glad we did! Ordered some Mozz sticks to start and they were homemade and DELISH! I got a mushroom Swiss burger with fries and after my first bite into the burger I told my husband when I think of times when I just want a good old fashioned yummy burger this is exactly what I was thinking of. It was probably hands down my favorite burger I've ever had. And the fries... don't even get me started. Amazing. Almost reminded of a fair fries! Loved them. My hubby got the spaghetti (small size) and the portion was massive! Enough to take home and have some for dinner also. The owner of the restaurant was super nice and came up to us at the end to chat and make sure everything tasted great. I'm writing to complain about the lady who hustled me to buy a peanut butter pie because now I suffer from Boohers Fresh Market Peanut Butter Pie Addiction. I think I'm going to start contributing 20% of my net income to these peanut butter pies versus the church because I'm now convinced Jesus Christ is in the back of that kitchen whipping up pies. Some people say I have a "pie problem", but I don't think it's a problem - I think that I'm a perfectly functional Boohers Market Peanutbutter Pie Addict and contributing member of society. Mr. Booher was my teacher in high school and I remember him always talking about how much he loves to cook. It really shows through his food. I've been here multiple times and the food has ALWAYS been S Tier. It's may be small on the inside but the flavors are BIG!
