I had a horrible experience here today with my service dog. First thing I was asked when arriving was to see my service dogs "paperwork". This is not something that should ever be asked because service dog registries are a scam. After explaining service dog laws to my waitress Jessica she was completely rude and only dropped off my food and didn't check on me again. The restaurant was basically empty so it wasn't like she was too busy. She wouldn't even refill my drink, offer me a box for my leftovers, or tell me to have a nice day. I will never be going back here and I suggest that all service dog handlers avoid this place like the plague!

Miller's is a pretty good hometown diner. It is in a favorable spot next to Country Market on Maumee St. The facility is somewhat quaint with a cozy, 60's-feel dining area. I have been in several times and have generally been happy enough with my visits. The menu is full of hometown diner-type fare though they throw a couple of gringo-style Tex-Mex items in there as well. It is a favorite for the locals and presents a nice feel for those who enjoy small town spots. I have found the servers to typically be very good and generally pleasant. I normally like Miller's for breakfast but I go in now and again for lunch. That was the case on my last visit when I tried an Egg Salad Sandwich with a Deluxe Salad. Their take on egg salad was rather tasty. The coffee here is pretty average as it is typical diner java. I usually like to have water along with my coffee to accompany my meal. The water this last time had an iron-tinged well water taste, which was not to my liking. It seemed as though their prices have gone up recently (as have everyone else's). My final bill with a sandwich, a salad and coffee was $12 including tax and tip. That is not a bad deal but not as good as it used to be. I will continue to patronize Miller's on occasion as it provides a decent basic option in the rather limited restaurant matrix in Adrian.

A nice little small town diner that serves some great homemade cooking served by a vivacious friendly staff. Had a luncheon special that was really tasty and priced fairly near downtown Adrian and close to the college. Good food. Go there!

I started with the Sassy Lassy from Tenacity Brewing (a Scotch Ale) and really enjoyed it. I ordered the Truffle Fries with Black Garlic Aioli. It was amazing; the best truffle fries I've ever had. I tried the Tenacity Brewing Farmers Daughter next. It was also very tasty, and I liked it so much I eventually ordered another one. The ambience is excellent, with alternative rock music playing and comfortable seats at the bar. The service was also excellent and I haven't had a better experience in a restaurant in months.

The food is consistently delicious, the kitchen is efficient, and the staff is very accommodating. Wherever possible, they will adjust a recipe for a dietary need (in my wife's case, gluten-free). The menu is not extensive, but something will satisfy your "foodie" needs. As I write this, I do recall that tonight I did see a steak on the menu, but it was a stroganoff. One of my go-tos is their Chicken Pot Pie. I was hoping for Shrimp and Grits tonight, but it was not on the rotating menu during my visit. A few salads, a seafood dish (Salmon), a beef dish, handhelds, sliders, and sides are always on the menu. I counted 12 beers on tap tonight, and they have started (I guess that's accurate) serving cocktails "on tap." That isn't too exciting to me, I think that I am a little old-fashioned "joke". They serve Pepsi products, which, as a Coke devotee, doesn't excite me at all. So, no reservations, but the tables turn over quickly. Check their hours. Oh, no advertised phone number, which I think is odd, but then again, it does make for a better dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

The friend warned me that there have been many complaints about cockroaches in the restaurant so I sat in the parking lot for a minute, deciding whether to take a chance and wound up coming on home. So maybe whenever the new owner decides to hire an exterminator every so many months like most restaurants have to do, I guess I won't be going back even though I have been all very regular customer. When John was there, my husband and I would be in three times a week. After. he died, I'm usually there at least twice. It's where my grandson and daughter look forward to going when they come down from Ann Arbor
