We had breakfast here and overall really enjoyed it. The food was good, and just what you want from a classic breakfast spot. Prices were a bit on the higher side for a diner, and the service was slower than expected, but the friendly atmosphere and quality of the meal made up for it. Very pleasant staff. We came there to eat several months ago when our power was out. They were about 30 minutes from closing when we arrived but still plenty of people there. The food was very good and we never felt rushed. read more

The host Collin is awesome! All of the workers are very nice including a dishwasher Carter! The food is great and I personally approve of the breakfast. The place itself is very ambient and very comforting, food is high quality and there is NO trash in my drink. Would recommend and I will say that I am a usual there. read more

Middle of a small town, and as such has a small town feel with many locals. The waitress was super friendly and the food arrived quickly. I had the Coney Island Special, which is two chili dogs with fries for $8. Dogs were good, the bread was fresh, and the price was great. Seated right away. Funny thing is that there was an elderly couple that came in with at h same time. The couple walked past the sign that said please wait to be seated. This couple ignored it and pasted the servers and sat down. The server sat us at a table and thanked us for actually waiting. Polite staff. Thy know how to make a medium rare steak as at new places I'm iffy about ordering it med. rare as many places cook it until medium. Tasted good. I recommend it! read more

If the cars in the parking lot are an indication, the move into this new location has been a successful one. Spangler's moved from a small location on one end of Jonesville to a large new beautifully redone space on the other end of town. With a steady stream of folks coming in, the staff was friendly and very efficient in getting everyone seated and served. We went for breakfast and it was delicious. Large portions of meat and eggs. Order 2 eggs and get the third free! Large mugs for coffee. Love a good cup of coffee and less wait for refills. Will definitely make this our go to whenever I am back in Michigan to visit my daughter. read more

Not quite mediocre diner food. I'm guessing everything starts out frozen and comes from a big chain restaurant food service. Pretty gross, and certainly not fresh. Also, they are staying open during state Covid restrictions, so be sure to catch a nice case of death lung while you drink your dirt water! read more

I love the Spangler's in Jonesville! They have an awesome breakfast. I have had eggs with potatoes etc, choc chip waffles (to die for) and for dinner the chicken fried steak with gravy and mashed potatoes was delish! A great after church place! read more

Jonesville, Michigan --- a u-turn breakfast (20 mile backwards u-turn) from Bronson ... I had to give "Spangler's Diner" the ole' "Spangler" Review (since I "am" a Spangler ) ... I am sad to report NOT a "Run-A-Way Bill" Favorite, but the service WAS friendly, efficient & courteous The sausage gravy was more white than gravy ... sausage must have missed my spoon scoop on my biscuit (which was also not the best I ever ate ) I DID get my 1st smile of the day at "Spangler's Hill Top Diner" ... I walked in & asked the server nearest the door "do I sit anywhere?" Great food, great culture. Took my family there and had breakfast. Highly recommend. Unlike the review from Ben and Teddy, our family had a wonderful experience. Our server was gracious and accommodating. We had a large group of nine of us. My son had the steak. Sirloin. Cooked medium and it came out as ordered and he said it was delicious. My 13-year-old daughter had the chicken tenders and fries. She loved them and said that the chicken had a nice crispy breading that was not greasy. Biggby coffee is just down the street for a nice after meal treat! read more

Was just there. Had my favorite meal that I get away from at home (spare the wife from preparing) of Liver with onions. Food and service is excellent. I couldn't ask for more. Prices are fair too (the online menu is outdated as to the in store one ). You get a nice portion of food. The move into this new location has been a successful one with more availability of parking and eating spaces substantiated by there being a lot of vehicles and people present. . read more

Seated very quickly & order taken promptly, but then we waited..... after 40 minutes of listening to a waitress discuss with her table beside us about "Florida only being good for men in thongs & alligators", "call me racist but I think white people put ketchup on everything," (so much for family dining at this point) and our waitress seated at a table behind with a guest discussing wedding dresses & plans.... we paid for our water & soda, and left. Not once after we ordered did we get a refill, an update on our order, or acknowledgement from our waitress. Awful first time experience. Only because yelp requires a rating did they receive one star. read more
