Absolutely amazing! I got the seafood pad Thai, and the girlfriend got chicken. We started with calamari which was deliciously breaded and served with a spicy sauce I would drink. Both dishes were seasoned and spiced perfectly, and the portions were on point. Check this place out for sure. read more

My boyfriend and I stopped here around 5:30 on a Friday and it was completely empty, which worried us a bit considering it was dinner time. But boy were we IMPRESSED! We ordered the yellow curry which is loaded with an assortment of vegetables and some quality fresh HUGE shrimp! The cheese rolls are a must. NO WAY!!!! The people reviewing this have not had really good Thai food before. This place is sub par at best. I ordered the pineapple fried rice, Pad Thai, paneng, and the pad prick. All were bland no genuine Thai flavor, and no heat or spicynes. I will not go here again. And it is a shame that a place like this will succeed with out trying to be authentic Thai food. I would give it more stars because the service was good and prompt the portions for the price are ok but when the flavor is not up to bar what's the point. They may be the best cook in there family but not in an area where you can drive 15 minutes to Austin and have good food. 1 star for sure read more

Not a fan. I'm in town visiting family in the area. My sister suggested we try this new Thai place. I love Thai and we get it frequently in NorCal where I live. We can placed the order online and did receive a $5 discount for our first order which is great. The food was prepared quickly and ready when we arrived. We had the pad Thai, pad see ew, papaya salad, pineapple fried rice, and cheese rolls. None of it was good. We all choked down about two bites of each item to give it a fair shot. We all then spent the rest of the evening regretting our choice. The meat was grey and dry and chewy. Do yourself a favor and just get Panda Express across the street. At least you know what you're getting there. read more

My wife and I stopped here Sunday evening for dinner. I was just thinking I wished there was a Thai place in Manor, and lo and behold...they just put one in!!!! I was so excited! Even though its brand new, there were already people dining in and picking up take out orders. We had Penang curry, pad Thai, and coconut shrimp and I was not disappointed! Solid Thai food close to my workplace. Pad Kee Mao, the calamari appetizer, and Thai tea are some of my favorites here.

This place definitely has good service. The only thing I have to say is that the servers should really let customers know if dishes are spicy and ask if they would like it a milder heat level. I'm from northern california, so I'm very familiar with good, traditional thai food, and my servers have always been very keen on letting me know whenever a dish may be incredibly spicy. Personally, I found my pad kee mao to be a tad over spicy for the amount of noodles they put in, but it still wasn't a bad dish. What I had a problem with was the green curry and pad thai. The curry was wayyy too spicy and the rice that came with it was a joke. It was hard and yellow - you could definitely tell it wasn't fresh. The pad thai was also a big let down. It wasn't the worst I ever had, but it wasn't the best either. Almost tasted as if they used some sort of barbecue sauce to flavor it. Overall, not a bad place for the ambiance and service, but the dishes can use a little work for the prices they're charging. At $10 a dish, they're charging more than what I was paying in NorCal for the same dishes! read more

My parents were in town a few weeks ago and they are the pickiest eaters. I was so hesitant to try a new restaurant with them but I'm so glad we did. My parents, husband and I loved every meal had. The restaurant was completely empty which almost scared us off but as soon as a we walked in, we saw bags and bags of to go order. Clearly this is a go to spot for people in the neighborhood. I've eaten here 3 times since it opened and the food has been great every time. I had the golden cheese rolls all 3 times - yum! I've had the pad thai, the vermicelli bowl, and the yellow curry. All of it was great. We've also ordered for pick up and all of the food was packaged and labeled nicely. I highly recommend this place - and don't leave without a Thai iced tea!! :) read more

Finally some Thai food on the East side! We've tried Chokdee on a couple of occasions and have really enjoyed the food. We've ordered several of the curries (Panang, Massaman, Yellow and Red) and have liked them all. But the household favorite is the Pad Thai. We will be back. read more

We've been coming here since they opened. The food is always fast and tasty. I've not actually dined in yet but I have walked in and ordered to go. The atmosphere is well lit during the day and the staff have been friendly, even though I do to go. I've seen all kinds of people come in looking excited about their meals so you know it's doing well. Only once was an order messed up ( I ordered tofu and they gave me chicken) but it was a yummy mistake that I didn't mind. This was my first experience with Thai food. I am now sold due to the flavors of their dishes. Have you ever eaten something and filled up, yet the flavor was so good you kept eating? This was my experience. I don't do spicy food well, and that was no problem with the dish I selected. I had the Pad Thai and my friend had a curry. I was able to get a bite of it and it was a beautifully flavored dish. The restaurant itself is open and airy with a lot of natural light. Service was superb! read more

I went here on my birthday and loved it. LOVED IT! Therefore, I was shocked when the last two times I have ordered takeout is has been horrible. I guess they really want a good tip when you dine in, so they put more effort into making the food and give you a bigger quantity of food. When you order out, you will get a smaller amount of food, even though you are paying the same price. Also, I ordered some soup to-go and there was a weird unidentifiable chunk of something in it. My boyfriend and I were so grossed out by the substance and unappetizing flavor we just dumped it out. It was almost like it was frozen and they simply microwaved it. We live on the eastern edge of Austin and we were happy to see this open. It's good for being in Manor and just generally good. We sat on the patio and enjoyed our food. My partner had Massaman curry that was good. I got Larb, which was two hot for me, but it's not their fault I'm a wus. Just Ok here. Nothing special and basic Thai options. Lunch menu is reasonable prices though. Overall not the best but not the worst.
