At this particular location, I noticed they had different clothes than the Petaluma location as well as different colors and patterns so I was rather interested in this location versus the downtown Petaluma Boutique. Both places were priced about the same as any other boutique so nothing too crazy but shirts were about $30 and sweaters were about $45. We were aware that the employees keep a larger dog behind the counter, but no guidance or warnings were given about keeping small dogs away from that area. While our little white chihuahua was sniffing near the counter area, the larger dog pounced and caused bleeding on our dog's ear, likely from contact with its claw. When we informed the employees, there was no apology, and only afterward did they mention that they are unsure how their dog reacts around small dogs and that they sometimes keep her away. We asked for a napkin to help with the bleeding and were not assisted, though they did provide the code for the nearest restroom so we could clean her ear ourselves. With clearer communication upfront about their dog and guidance for customers with small pets, this situation may have been avoided.

And as soon as I make eye contact with the 3 of them they all give me dirty looks and kept snickering. This was a horrible shopping experience, and I spent a lot of money in this store, to be treated horribly! I will be telling others not to shop here for this reason until they address my concern and experience. The fact that the manager girl (hispanic girl) was snickering with BROOKE the sales floor associate about me and giving me dirty looks the entire time i was in line for the fitting room was the cherry on top , I felt so harassed and uncomfortable during my time here.
