I walked in around 1:20 ish on a Wednesday. I was the only person in there. I believe the owner and the daughter maybe not sure. Not one single hello or hi how are you at all. The place looks nice and has a lot to pick from. From what I can see the prices are high but that's what you expect from a consignment store. While I was looking around this older lady came in and was welcomed and asked if she needed help. Anyways, I had had enough and was on my way to walk out and the owner finally says oh we're having a 60%off on some items and I looked at her and said I'm not interested and walked out. Needless to say, I will not be going back. Maybe you should work on your customer service instead of ignoring people and making them not feel welcomed in. read more

What a great find! We were vacationing in Windsor and happened into this store two weeks after its opening. There is a great selection of second hand, in fine condition clothes and shoes from a variety of brands. The owner is very welcoming and personable. I quickly bought two blouses, one with the Chico's brand label; and, considered some Jimmy Choo shoes as well. It was delightful to find such an eclectic combination of merchandise! If I lived in Windsor, I'd be shopping in this place all the time! I highly recommend checking it out the next time you are in Windsor. read more

I was happy to see this charming store open up in my home town of Windsor. The selection is great -- huge for the space! -- with a clean, pretty and pleasant ambiance. The super-helpful owner who runs the store is so enthusiastic. I found a few things right away and will definitely consign with her. A must-visit to find unique clothing (as well as trusty stand-by pieces) and accessories that will surprise you! read more

My son and I have been RC customers here for nearly a year and the owner (Michael) and crew are friendly and willing. There is a good selection of popular ARRMA, Losi, Axial and Traxxas vehicles and just about every single new release is in the shop within a few days. There is a curated collection of popular race vehicles behind the counter as well as Kyosho Mini-Z and handful of more specialized brands that only enthusiast hobbyist would even know about like Xpress, MST, and Corally to name a few. There is a small selection of planes and helicopters, and I've been able to have the shop order kits that are more obscure and have it be available within a week or so. I've found the prices to be the same as what is advertised on larger online retailers like Horizon Hobby, A-Main, or Tower Hobbies; Hobby Addicts does have a loyalty program, so I do appreciate that the business understands your patronage is important to them. More importantly, every dollar spent at a local business ends up within the community, so come on out and support your local hobby shop!

Brian was such a gem, that 5 years later we go back and have built a wonderful friendship with him, he had become our older brother. Brian is that type of person who will not just sell you an RC car, but he will sell you one that suits you. If you had a car in mind and he does not have it in stock, he is willing to order it and he will make sure he orders you the best one. Brian also fixes RC cars if something is broken or if you have no idea why it isn't working. He will give you a quote before actually fixing it and if the price is good with you, he will start the fixing processes. He is not the type of sell you useless cars, he tries his best to order the best. He does sell more then just RC cars. Just go check him out and see what he has to offer. He also has model cars that you can build. He has a few trains and tracks. He has a lot of paints for the models and other things. Brian is great.

While our little white chihuahua was sniffing near the counter area, the larger dog pounced and caused bleeding on our dog's ear, likely from contact with its claw. When we informed the employees, there was no apology, and only afterward did they mention that they are unsure how their dog reacts around small dogs and that they sometimes keep her away. We asked for a napkin to help with the bleeding and were not assisted, though they did provide the code for the nearest restroom so we could clean her ear ourselves. With clearer communication upfront about their dog and guidance for customers with small pets, this situation may have been avoided.
