If I was the manufacture I would no longer allow this shop to carry my $207 pants with this kind of customer service. I never get upset or ever post anything but this really upset me.

The store attendant, a short woman with short gray hair around 60's to 70's, actually closed and locked the door in my face at 4:50pm-10 minutes earlier than the closing time posted on the door. Their website shows closing to be 6pm. Obviously-posted closing times for B Real mean nothing to this store B Real!! Since there were other women still shopping inside the store I knocked on the window and pointed to my watch stating it is not 5pm yet! When she finally let the other women out of the store, still before their posted closing time, I said to her, I have been trying to buy this wrap for three days and you were always closed so I rushed here today before your closing time to buy this wrap in the window. She said we are closed and shut the door again in my face. Unbelievable, horrible, retail service. It was 10 minutes until 5pm. Such an unfriendly person. I could have paid for the item and still left before their posted closing time. We wanted to pick inside and their sales clerks were actually busy rearranging the displays and sorting out piles of clothes, yet they both stopped and greater us. Not only that, they proceeded with friendly chatter about our dog (who loves the attention and was happy to say hello, tail wagging and all), then about men's short coat my wife glanced at. At the same time, there was nothing pushy in their behavior. When sales people know how to strike just the right balance between being human and their sales duties, it's a big plus and a rare occurrence nowadays. Even though it clearly looked like we were just browsing and unlikely to buy anything, they had been just as friendly and nice as they would have been to someone leaving a cash load there, and that alone deserves an appreciative 5 stars from me. I snapped multiple photos of their offerings so you could easily imagine the kind of stuff they sell.

Good boutiques make customers feel welcome, not like suspects under surveillance.
