I'm writing to share an extremely disappointing experience I had at Chocolate Bash today with my children. We stopped by around 3:16 PM after school, and my kids ordered nearly $83 worth of items -- primarily the Dubai Chocolate Strawberries, which they were excited for. At the time of our order, it was not busy. Only one customer had ordered before us. The first item to come out was a crepe for my daughter, followed by two of the three Dubai Cups we ordered. We waited patiently, but the third cup was nowhere to be found even by 3:40 PM -- nearly 25 minutes after we ordered. During this time, we watched multiple other customers come in, order the same Dubai Cups, and leave with their orders while ours was still incomplete. When I finally asked the older woman working there about the delay, her response was incredibly rude and unprofessional. She said, "I don't know why people think they can order here and get their order fast." I was shocked by her attitude, especially considering we had been waiting patiently for over 30 minutes and had spent a considerable amount of money. She tried to justify the delay by saying that because we ordered pastries, it took longer -- but that made no sense since the pastry was the first item we received. By the time we finally got the third cup, the two cups that were made earlier had become soggy and unappetizing. Chocolate-covered strawberries should never be sitting out for 20+ minutes waiting on the rest of the order to be completed. Not once did anyone apologize or acknowledge the delay. There was no offer to correct the issue, no offer of a refund, and no accountability. For a premium-priced dessert shop, this kind of service is unacceptable. The lack of organization, poor customer service, and rude behavior from staff completely ruined what should have been a simple treat for my children. Unfortunately, I will not be returning, and I'll be sharing this experience with others as well. I sincerely hope that your team takes this feedback seriously and retrains your staff on how to treat paying customers with basic respect and courtesy. read more

I was really excited to visit and try everything on the menu, especially with all the hype around the Dubai chocolate and strawberries. But my experience was ruined the moment I walked in. No greeting, no acknowledgment--I just patiently waited in line. Then, a "pretty girl" walks up, and the young employee (who seemed new) immediately greets her. She asks about the Dubai chocolate, and while he initially says they're out, he suddenly decides to "check the back" and conveniently finds the last bar for her--completely skipping over me in line. Loved it!!!! We found our dessert place! What a charming place for great desserts. We went there on a whim since the kids were looking for an after-dinner dessert. We walked in and tried a couple of items along with Hot Chocolate and teas(pink and karak tea). The good thing is that the desserts were not overly sweet and were thoroughly enjoyed. Plus, the kids liked playing the numerous board games while we the parents got a few minutes for ourselves. We came in today specifically for the Dubai Cup, but unfortunately, they were out. The staff recommended the strawberry cup with cookie butter instead. The strawberry cup starts at $12.99, which is already steep for about 6 strawberries and a little chocolate drizzle. Adding cookie butter drizzle tacked on another $3, and Knafeh cost an extra $2, bringing the total close to $18. Honestly, I couldn't help but feel completely ripped off! There is absolutely no reason this should cost anywhere near that much. The portion and ingredients just don't justify the price. Not sure how long this place will last.... read more

Came across them on IG advertising a Dubai strawberry cup. picture on the left is what they advertise picture on the right is what they gave me. Absolutely ridiculous! Not only was it 18 + tax but look at the difference. The cup they advertise is larger, more strawberries, more chocolate, more pistachio. I think the thing that really sucks is the prices being different when they ring you up that is very scammy and sketchy. The stuff was very mid, just okay. We went up and asked about our order multiple times and then they would still make orders for people who ordered after us. Super disorganized. Since this is a franchise I would definitely put any blame for anything wrong on the franchise it's self and it's business practices the par set for a 20$ crepe are super out of whack. The amount you get for such a poor recipe is appalling. For 20$ looking at the product they get from commercial whole sale price in comparison to what they serve is not worth it. a 8$ crepe hyped up to imaginary proportions is a recipe isn't good business practice. To the owners of this company not the franchise owners. You might be able to fool Socal but this is the BAY you gotta be more reasonable.make it worth it to come back and develope a patronage. I do give kudos on the trendy pink paint job, board games are also a great touch. We were immediately greeted upon walking in, but had to wait 3 minutes or so for our someone to take our order even though we were first in line. This place seemed to have an influx of orders. We then waited nearly 35 minutes for our order to be completed. This is completely unacceptable considering the fact that we ordered 1 crepe.
