Great fresh menu! We had the lobster roll (warm) and the chunks of lobster were huge and the bread was just lightly toasted and perfect. Added the Mac n cheese as a side, really good flavor! We also had "The Ninja bowl" which was really good! Lots of fresh veggies with large shrimp all tossed with a sauce that had just a little kick to it and set over a bed of rice. This is another vero place that I have a lot of faith in but every time I go I'm pretty disappointed. I like that this place is a cool new concept that allows for relaxed dining but sadly the food itself doesn't offer that. The food does seem clean and healthy but it's pretty bland. Also they are right on the water and there is no seating even looking at the water let alone next to it. I think there is a lot of potential here but I'm not sure if I have the patience to keep trying. read more

I ordered take out for our dinner tonight (four adults). I ordered two family meals. One chicken. One ground beef. An order of chips and queso and one with guacamole. I was told it would take 30 mins for delivery. After a little more than an hour later I called to see how much longer the delivery would be. I was told she was on the way. She arrived about ten mins later. It was a ring and go order. When I opened our bags up the food looked and smelled delicious. But was kinda cold. No problem we can just pop in the microwave and heat it up. Then I realized our neither order of chips were missing. I called back and told the person on the phone and said she would send her right back. About twenty mins or so later she rang and left. When I got to the door there was only one order of chips. By this time we were done eating so I didn't even bother to call back. I disappointed with our service. I understand this is new to all of us. But if we don't get things right from the door we will fail at this new way of life! I hope you are able to get it together and have better success in the future. I just thought you should know. Eclectic little place with tons almost too many options. My wife had shrimp and Mahi cake salad. The cake was very flavorful the dressing has a definite kick. I had the seared ahi tuna on Cesar salad. The ahi was good would have loved a little ginger rub or something a little "sexier" rub on it. But it was very good. The Cesar dressing also had a kick. My boyfriend is a big fan of chive and was excited to bring me. Our first visit I was not a huge fan of what I got and all the employees seemed like they were mid-training. The second visit I got a curry dish with vegetables and was so impressed! I thought the curry had a really unique flavor and the portion sizes were generous. I also tried a side of Mac and cheese and it was excellent. I am honestly so mad and disappointed with this place. I have been here multiple times, but I moved to Orlando a year ago, so I haven't been back since. I just ordered a salad for lunch, and after tax and sides, I paid $16. That's fine. It's good food. But what I am pissed about is the fact that my salad was basically empty when I opened my box after picking up. $16 for an almost empty box of salad. Next time, I guess I'm just going to have to watch them make my salad, because if I had seen them make it, I wouldn't have paid for it. Hopefully, this doesn't happen again. read more

This is my first time to Vero Beach. A friend recommended Chive. The create your own option is great. The staff really fills the plate up which is great since the prices are a little high. I had the red snapper, fish of the day, on my bowl and it was really fresh and delicious. I love that there is the option to purchase a bottle of wine with your meal even in this casual setting.
