Perfect place to have cocktails with friends. Cool atmosphere. Nice indoor and outdoor seating. Very dog friendly. I can't say vegan friendly anymore because they had to remove the beyond meat option. But I stiff love this place!:) The staff are all wonderful! read more

I haven't Yelped in a while because quite frankly, there hasn't been a reason to. Went up to Vero Beach to have lunch with grandpa, Chive seemed like a good solution now that me and my wife are vegan. First let me say that the staff is super accommodating. When my daughter didn't like the beans which we had already paid for, they freely gave her a plate of mac & cheese at no extra cost, very nice. I can go on and on about what we ordered, but I'll say this to make it simple, it was quite an enjoyable dining experience and the food was really good and fresh. We enjoyed it so much that I'm actually doing this review seated in the dining room. You should check it out... read more

what an amazing little restaurant find. We were headed to another restaurant but found that it didn't open till 3 PM so we ended up going to chive. It had your basic tacos and wings and things so we said why not try it but I cannot emphasize enough how fantastic that restaurant turned out to be every item on the menu that we tried tasted it better than anything I've had similar to that before this is going to be a new favorite for us. Where are you I'm yo read more

Excellent service! It made the entire experience worth it! I've been here once before and the food is terrific. Today I had the ahi poke nachos and they were great! Although I've had the lobster one other time and it was great, today it just wasn't. I told the manager and he immediately wanted to give me a refund. It was so thoughtful and I was happy I said something, but didn't need the refund. I just wanted to let them know. As a substitute, I did take a warm piece of banana bread and all I can say is ....delicious! It's only $3 for 2 pieces so well worth saying something. I will definitely come back to try something new read more

The food is really good and you get to watch them make Your food right in front of you. Chill place! read more

The food was amazing! My husband and I each had the spinach salad with all the delectable toppings. The servers were pleasant and helpful in assisting us with info regarding several menu items. We were traveling through and decided to try. So glad we did. read more

Met a friend for lunch at Chive today. I was surprised how large the restaurant is and how much seating! Had the lobster salad and it was delicious but wish it was a bit bigger! By the time I got home I was hungry! My friend had the Mahi tacos and she really loved them- definitely will be back! read more

Great spot for brunch on a Sunday. They have delicious bloody Marys, and a ridiculous curry dish called curry me bad. Love the outdoor seating. read more

This was our first time here & we ordered takeout. The chopped salad, wings & seared tuna were awesome. We'll definitely be back!

I love coming here and getting the tuna poke in a burrito and skip the wontons. I add lots of very fresh and fun vegetables. It never disappoints and I have never ordered anything else. My wife likes the scallops if available. We have meet the owner a few times as he is very friendly and accommodating. I just wish it was a bit closer! read more

Chive is a favorite of ours. Fresh, delicious food and smiles from the service team always. Create your own great meal with so many delicious options and add-ons. If you haven't tried it, go. If you have, you know what I mean. read more

I want to move to Vero just so I can eat here everyday! We were in town for a soccer tournament and found this place on yelp. Food was amazing! Service was quick and correct. I was stuffed but ordered food to go since it was so good. Can't wait to go again next time we are in the area. read more

Pretty good but I got a salad and after all of the vegetables and toppings (no sauce) were added, my salad was very oily, which I did not enjoy. I would not come back here again, simply because the veggie option was not great. I think this is more of a meat/fish place than anything else. read more

The food here is always good but the portions are a bit small, we just had some burritos the curry bowl and fish tacos, all had good flavor but were small. read more

Another great find away from touristy places. Made to order bowl or platter. Many protein choices and tons of fresh veggie options. Great casual dinner - with full bar service if interested. read more

One of my favorite restaurants in Vero! The ingredients are always so fresh and it's all made to order right in front of you. I love the Cajun grilled shrimp on a salad or in as tacos. So many options to choose from, and you can constantly change things up if you're craving something different. It's very fast and casual which is nice. I'm a big fan. read more

This place used to be consistently fresh and delicious. My last couple orders have been subpar. I usually get delivery while at work. Tonight I received a salad that was lettuce swimming in a pool of liquid. Multiple dressings were poured on a salad prior to delivery and my $19 salad was inedible when I got it. Seems common sense not to pour a bunch of liquid over lettuce before slamming in a takeout container but I guess common sense is not common. It was literally all lettuce and chimichurri sauce with a couple of olives and three tiny pieces of steak. A shame because this used to be a great fresh healthy option. Will not be ordering again read more

Great local hang out Good happy hour Food special ... It's a quaint little spot for a great Sunday afternoon meal read more

Very solid place to pick up a healthier fast casual meal! Service was friendly and helpful. They have lots of vegetarian options, along with seafood/chicken type salads and wraps. It is set up so everything is done right in front of you (a la Chipotle) and all of it was amazingly fresh! I opted for a salad and a decadent side of homemade macaroni and cheese. So good! I also ordered a piece of their banana bread to go and it was tasty, but small for the price. Overall, it's a pretty cute, small place with only a few tables. I liked the local art on the walls and the chalkboard menus. I noticed most customers were opting for take out, but it is fun to eat in too. If I am in the neighborhood, I will definitely stop by again! Thanks Chive (love the name by the way!) read more

Chive was a really good find, especially when one is craving delicious tacos that you had the day before, only to discover your delicious taco place is closed on Sundays. Poor poor Todd. Anyway, you would rightfully ask, "what the heck are you doing in Vero Beach?" And I would respond, most of the time, sleep-walking or kidnapped or abducted by aliens and accidentally dropped off in the wrong place. However, Melissa and I were on our way back from Stuart/Jensen Beach (I know, not any better, but we had an event to attend) and discovered that nearly every place worth eating is closed in Stuart on Sundays, so we started driving home and looked to the Yelp for assistance, and as always, Yelp came through. Chive is essentially Chipotle with more options. You can get tacos or burritos or bowls, but you can get meat, chicken, pork, lobster, and lots more. They also have a lot more fillings (such as Thai noodles) and sauces (such as a chipotle (or was it habanero) cream sauce). On this day, I went with pork in a burrito, which came with rice and beans, and I added cucumbers and thai noodles and I am sure other things that I don't recall. It comes with a side, and I went with chips and salsa. Besides the fact that the woman helping us couldn't have possibly acted more like she wanted to be anywhere else but there, this was a really good experience. The food was fresh and delicious and there was plenty of it and the burrito stayed together until then end (which is more that you can say for any Chipotle burrito). The chips were very good, but the salsa not-so-much. The salsa just tasted like tomatoes that got thrown into a blender. Very little spice or flavoring. However, that shouldn't deter you - just don't get the chips and salsa as a side. I am not doing the description of Chive justice. The number of options for creating your meal is fantastic. The various proteins you can include means there is something there for everyone. Yes, my Tampa friends, you are not going to go all the way out to Vero Beach for this place, and even if you're driving through on your way to anywhere else, this is a good 10-15 miles off the highway. However, should you find yourself in this vicinity, for whatever reason, this should be where you eat. You'll thank yourself for sleep-driving you there safely. read more

Great food, great service and great drinks. Pork Po Boy and broccoli salad were a great late dinner.

This place is like Chipotle on CRACK and at least ten times better!!! Those were the words my friends used to describe Chive when telling me where they wanted to take me to eat. As can be expected, with such a raving review, I was more than a little skeptical. After all, I was being told that the restaurant I was about to east at basically put the mega-franchise chipotle to shame... Walking through the doors, I wasn't blown away by the ambiance, my first impression wasn't leaving me in awe... However, after seeing my ordering options, and taking my first bite, I was left in a happy place of awe and wonder! The only bad thing about Chive, is that it's not found across the country. That's just awful... read more

The food here is really not good. I'm not sure what style of food they're going for but their curry is one of the worst foods I've tasted. Disappointed because the reviews looked really good read more

I visited Chive today for lunch with a friend. We shared the Ahi Tuna Nachoes. An abundance of tuna complimented by a nice balance of veggies, Aoli and chips. Delightful! I was especially pleased with this selection as I have had Tuna nachoes other places that were lacking tuna. I had the Shrimp Poor Boy which was a wonderful blend with the right amount of spicy shrimp. I was very pleased and highly recommended Chive. read more

Chive - Lobster Salad - Can I get a Hell Yeah - Salad Near Me - Vero Beach, Florida

Vegetarian Friendly, a rarity in this area. But great for the carnivores like my wife. Second location in Vero for Chive. we have been here 5 times in the last month. You can choose from Salads, Wraps, Tacos, PO Boy, or at Beans and Rice Bowl. Add your addition, Slow Roasted Pork, Marinated Chicken Breast, Maine Lobster, Wild Caught Shrimp, Grilled Mahi Mahi, Seared Ahi Tuna, Flank Steak, Fresh Mozzarella, or my favorite ( bering a vegetarian) Mixed Grilled Seasonal Vegetables. Then add nay of their toppings and sauces. There are also Philly Cheese Steak and Lobster Rolls. Always at least 2 soups. An excellent selection of beer and wine at reasonable prices. Love the micro brews. Average for dinner for two w/o beer or wine about $24-27 depending upon any sides or soda you may add. Located on scenic Royal Palm Pointe in Vero Beach, and the other location on Old Dixie Highway. Have been to both and will continue to keep coming. read more

Just paid $7.99 for ONE IPA. That's right, $7.99! I think that is the most I have ever paid for an IPA, anywhere. Come one CHIVE, post your prices in plain view. If you had, I would have walked out. I will not be back. read more

I went here twice and it was absolutely amazing. The third time I brought my husband and some friends and they were disappointed with their food. I really wanted tuna but the tuna did not look very appetizing that day. I will give it another chance I understand everyone has bad days and I hope this was just one of them. read more

This Chive location provides a much larger seating area (both indoor & patio) and parking then the Old Dixie Hwy spot. This one is off IR Blvd & Royal Palm Pointe, close to the north VB bridge. About 10 mins from the beach. Food & drinks are high quality and the prices reflect that. Service was extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. Great for lunch and a light dinner. read more

Good place for takeout. I had Curry Me Bad Chicken which had a nice flavor, even tho I asked for mild spiciness. My family liked their dishes too. It doesn't look like it has a good ambiance for dine-in however. I'll be back! read more

The experience here is amazing. The bar area is open and airy. There is outside seating too. Happy hour is the best bargain in Vero. The menu is very eclectic. The open kitchen creates custom bowls and top notch sandwiches, highly recommend. read more

Between the staff not wearing their masks and others wearing them beneath their noses, it didn't feel safe. The chicken Caesar salad wrap had two pieces of lettuce, took 20 minutes to receive and was mostly wrap. I would not recommend this. Burritos are always great. But I think their cleanliness standards have gone down since they relocated.

Fresh and amazing food food. Service is always great. Definitely the goto spot for a quick meal.

Food was fresh and delicious, and staff was helpful. Bar a little crowded for our taste (especially during a pandemic lol) but we were able to sit outside. read more

Was a good meal. Awkward ordering process. Maybe the guy building our salads was new? Maybe everyone wearing masks just makes it that much more difficult with the music in the background. This is what happened when I couldn't make up my mind and wanted to try everything. The chef made up a sampler platter with lobster salad, conch salad, chips, spicy Baja coleslaw, sweet broccoli salad, roasted brussel sprouts, Thai noodle salad, Ahi tuna poke and hummus in the middle of the plate. It was fabulous. The Maine lobster salad was my absolute favorite. I highly recommend this restaurant. Will definitely return. YUMMY! read more

Great fresh menu! We had the lobster roll (warm) and the chunks of lobster were huge and the bread was just lightly toasted and perfect. Added the Mac n cheese as a side, really good flavor! We also had "The Ninja bowl" which was really good! Lots of fresh veggies with large shrimp all tossed with a sauce that had just a little kick to it and set over a bed of rice.
