Walked into Bambuu with a party of seven, excited to try something new and grab a quick bite. The space is modern, clean, and honestly looks great from the outside. The setup reminded me of a fast-casual spot where you'd expect quick service and solid food. The food? It was just okay. I went with the usual combo of fried rice, lo mein, and chicken. Everything looked better than it tasted. Not bad, just not anything I'd rush to tell someone about. It scratched the hunger itch, but didn't leave much of an impression beyond that. The part that dragged the experience down was the service. It took forever just to get six sodas. We were literally the only group in the entire restaurant. No line. No other tables waiting. Yet the drinks came out like we ordered custom cocktails from a speakeasy instead of fountain sodas. No explanation, no urgency, just... waiting. If they tighten up the service and season the food a little better, it could be a real contender. But as it stands, it's a middle-of-the-road spot with style over substance. Been coming to this place for a little over 2 years now, and it is my go-to place when I crave a bowl of goodness! Their food has always been consistently tasty, and you can never go wrong with their Bourbon chicken and sauce with the Udon noodles. The staff are always so friendly and accommodating, even when I have to change the time for the food pickup due to schedule changes. Ordering from their app makes food pickups more convenient, plus it's reasonable to get points towards rewards. It's nice to sit and have a cozy place to relax, eat, and charge my phone before needing to power through the rest of my day. This is Panda Express re branded! :) I loves me some Americanized Chinese food that has consistent flavor profiles and visibly cooked with fresh ingredients. Buffet style make service quick with tempting choices. Ambiance is upscale chain fast food plastic functional yet clean. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by all the staff, it was our first time there and a man, who I believe was the manager, walked us through the process. They were all so kind, and very thorough. Lots of different topping options, coke products, different teas and different waters. The kitchen is open and you can see the chefs cooking from an open window, it's very nice to see a clean kitchen! It is covered in windows that bring in the beautiful natural lighting and the manager even brought me my boba overall a really good first experience, friendly staff AND fresh, tasty food! read more

I had never previously ordered from Bambuu Asian Eatery and was totally unfamiliar with it. I wanted to get some decent General Tso's chicken which has been a challenge in the Vero Beach area. The reviews for this restaurant were better than most so I decided to give them a try. The app, once set up, is easy to use for online ordering for pickup and curbside service. I chose pickup. The order was for General Tso's Chicken and Fried Rice. The cost, with tax was $12.84, not bad. Upon arriving to get the order I was surprised to see that it is a chain and the food is not cooked to order. Behind the glass front counter there were heated bins containing all of the different food choices. I prefer cooked to order as would be in a traditional Chinese takeout restaurant. My order was already packaged for pickup on a shelf adjacent to the dining area. Although I arrived at the scheduled pickup time the food had been on the shelf for some time judging by the luke warm temperature of the food. Not good. They must have dished out the order as soon as it came in via the app (I ordered 40 minutes before the selected pickup time). The portion of General Tso's was smaller than expected and the flavor was just okay. General Tso's normally has a bit of heat to it but this was rather bland. There was no crispness to the coating on the meat and it could have used more sauce to mix into the fried rice. Traditionally, General Tso's includes some broccoli. Not here. The portion of the fried rice was comparable to the chicken portion. As with the chicken, the flavor was just okay. Possibly, if the food had been hot, the flavors and textures would have been better. I may give them another try by ordering at the store so the food is hot when I get it. Chances are, however, it will not be General Tso's. read more

They deserve an E for effort -- as they were one of the few places open for lunch on Thanksgiving. We'd tried to go to 2 other Asian restaurants (per suggestions), but found they were both closed. As we were pulling out of the parking lot of the last one, a local lady approached us and told us to come to this restaurant -- that's where she goes and she knew it was open. Thank you. Think fast food and a Bolay type offering and you'll get the picture. Bowls with a base and toppings. Depending on the size and number of selections gives you your price. This isn't gourmet by any means, but when you're hungry and have limited options... The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The bases include 4 types of rice, an Asian "salad" and two types of noodles. We both chose their low mein noodles. There are 8 meat choices and 5 veggie choices plus added sauces, and sides/appetizers. He had their breaded general Tso's chicken with yum yum sauce. I had their bourbon chicken and the bbq pork. I liked the pork better than the chicken. We were hungry and it was more than edible. And the prices were very reasonable for the quantity. I'm not sure we would seek this chain out in the future, but at least we were happy to find a restaurant open. read more

Sunday, May 28th, 2023 3:30pm 2 pp for lunch $27.24 Memorial Day weekend We were in the mood for Asian and we found this place near by which we found very similar to Cajun Grill that you find at the local mall or also Panda Express but what I love about this location is they offered boba tea and allowed you sample/taste test before ordering. We were served by Civanna who was exceptionally splendid from her greeting, to her menu knowledge, packaging our food/drinks (free refills btw) and provided suggestions/recommendations, and processed our order. She was perfection from start to finish and God bless her patience with folks not knowing what they want or being indecisive between so many delicious items. We enjoyed our food/drinks, perfect portion size and everything cooked fresh. I must come back and try their boba tea as Civanna offered a tasting of the coconut one and it was delicious. Your dinner hasn't been heating up for hours under lights and the reason to tell that is on the serving line the dishes are small in quantity and you can see in the kitchen. While visiting Vero bch for a wedding, we stumbled upon this spot that was across form out Hotel. What a treat!! The Staff was very welcoming and friendly, The manager was very engaging and assisted with the order and the process. The food looked very fresh I ordered the 2 bowl with the bourbon chicken and bbq spare ribs! The protein was juicy and tender and gave hearty portion. Decided to try this spot after its recent opening. If you like that frozen Asian food in a bag with the sauce packets you get at BJs, then this is for you. I'm sure those who were raised on authentic Asian food would just roll their eyes at the quality; food court quality. Food was amazing and tasted great, was freshly cooked, and I love how they let you sample anything if you're unsure of what to get/want to try something new! The service was very patient and helped us get our food quickly, some of the workers could be cold and some could be nice, friendly, and talkative- but you will NEVER get bad service, rushed, and be disappointed! I find most of their dishes to be too loaded with sugar, a common cooking practice here in Vero to pander to those taste buds. When we moved to Vero Beach West Corridor 15 months ago, we ordered from Bambuu several times, for lack of a nearby better replacement for restaurants we knew before. Low key tasty Asian food that's fresh & wallet friendly. I've had both take away and in-dining at Bambuu and it's a nice addition to the Vero restaurant scene. It's easy to dismiss this as another standard chain, but the food quality, cleanliness of the restaurant and vibe is definitely more appealing than the standard chain feel. The staff are friendly, helpful and prepare great dishes from Orange Chicken to Udon noodles, yummy vegetables and rice, quinoa or more noodles. I would definitely recommend Bambuu:) read more

Phenomenal, as always. I got the spicy Thai Chicken as my option, as well as mixed vegetables as the base. Both were delicious. The chicken, despite items name, was not very spicy. Went to Bambuu shortly after it opened for lunch on a Friday. From the outside you prepare yourself to have seating options. Not so much the case. The table lay out is strange and the porch seating would be great, if there was some type of netting/bug barrier. When I walked in I had no idea where to order, how to order or where the menu was. You have to walk around the counter to see the menu items, which was very confusing. I also felt very rushed and a weird vibe coming from all the employees. The food was pretty good. Reminds me a bit of Panda Express, but better in my opinion. read more

MEH!!! Just another Panda Express spin off. The food was just OK. Bourbon chicken was a little firm/hard and the noodles tasted like they had been sitting for a while. Fried rice was a little bland and didn't leave much to desire. An OK spot if you needed a quick stomach filler but that's about it. When they have little ketchup bags with soy sauce, duck sauce, and chili Siriracha you know it's just plain ole fast food. The place is very clean and the staff was pleasant and helpful. They even let you try the different selections if you wanted. I hope they do well but I came in for lunch and there was only me eating. read more

On the pricey side. Some of the dishes like the teriyaki chicken had way too much salt. Good variety of menu items but needs less salt in their dishes. You can always add salt to your taste. A complete and total disappointment now. Went there couple times right after they opened. Now once a week they raise the price. The price of a basic bill has gone up 2 1/2 dollars for the exact same food. Today I came back from there. They only give you half as much food at the same price. One of the employees even cautioned me about eating one of the eggrolls that they had been out there for a while. I simply will never go there again. Absolutely not worth the money.
