I stopped in this past week. I ordered cashew nut stir fry with fried tofu. It's a dish I had here in the past and liked it. The tofu was tough and had no flavor. The rest of the dish lacked the quality it had in the past. My salad had big chucks of lettuce and a large glob of ginger dressing on dumped on top. I ordered the spicy lobster roll, it was packed with flavor and the lobster was tender. My wife had a chicken vegetable medley. She said the veggies were so fresh and tasty. What a GEM in Sebastian, FL- hidden in the Publix shopping center. Having been quality sushi deprived from living in SW FL, we ate our way through the menu and everything was delicious! I am always a skeptic when a Thai and sushi place are a combo effort, we tried some of each and I wish we had something similar here. Thursday evening - 30 minute wait at 7pm- plus busy take out business. Once seated, service was gracious and prompt. There is a sushi bar option too. Tables seemed to be socially distanced so their capacity is probably lower. The popcorn fish salad was HUGE- lots of pieces of assorted fish, seaweed salad, and greens. We polished that off in addition to the generous Crazy roll. ( in photo) Cucumber may be substituted for rice too. The yellow tail jalepeno was so fresh- it melted in my mouth. Hubby devoured the lava chicken. Next time, the whole fried snapper in garlic sauce will be on my list too. If I lived in this area, I'd be a regular here. In the 2 weeks we were in Vero Beach, we ate here 5 or 6 times. The sushi and Thai dishes are exceptional, and prices are surprisingly low. Favorites: the Seared Tuna Salad, Crispy Duck and the Duck Noodle Soup. All the sushi and sashimi were very fresh, with large cuts of very fresh fish. The only disappointment was the Papaya Salad. It was very small and pretty tasteless. I wouldn't order that again. But that's OK, as there's so much else to try. Our favorite salad was the Seared Tuna Salad, which is easily shared as it's quite large. It's meh. Service is pretty deplorable, prices are outrageous and don't try to think you can order a bento box from the lunch portion bc apparently they can't do that. Never even was offered a refill on my drink and had to wait a long time just to get waited on. Curry dish was very salty and not cooked enough, and the sushi seemed like it sat in the back a while. I had it w/ tofu w/ the aforementioned accompanying veggies. Everything hit the spot. It was quite alright. The curry was a touch on the sweet side. Didn't find it that spicy at all yet that is okay as these August Dog Days of Floridan Summer require Pitta to be pacified henceforth good not to eat too much spicy food as fire on fire is like on like. We are locals and find our way here often. But Tonight I was very disappointed with our visit. As always the food was outstanding but the service was awful. We arrived early before the dinner rush and waited several minutes just to get our drink orders. It's like all the attention was on the northern flocks as they began to enter. Waitress was bubbling all over them and we still had yet to begin our order. This went on for the entire meal. Another large group would enter and the gushing would begin again. We always tip 20% if not better when eating local so we know that's not an issue. If I hadn't promised my daughter a visit here while she is down in the spring we would likely not return.
