Sadly, this is the worst Chipotle experience I've ever had. They really don't care. First, the tables are dirty and stayed that way as long as we were there. This is despite there being at least four people in the store including a couple people who didn't seem to have anything to do. When I got to the line, we were asked if it was to go or dine in. I said we'd eat there if we could find a clean table hoping someone would realize that every table was dirty. Nope. Then, they were out of black beans. I guess that's ok but the preparer had no intention of going to get more or to see how long before there would be more. She offered the pintos which were dried out and crusty. When I pointed that out, she had the audacity to say "I guess they need more water" but then do nothing about it. Do you know how long Chipotle beans have to sit to get dried out?? It did not surprise me to see that this location only has 1.5 stars. But I seriously hope these reviews are actually taken in to consideration. For our experience here, it was the customer service that really blew our mind. There were four ladies working last night and they treated us as if we were committing a crime walking in after 9:30. I understand that this location closes at 10 pm. If you do not want to serve your customers until ten then the closing time should be changed . When we arrived here, there was one older couple paying for their food and no one else there. We stood there for approximately 10-15 minutes watching these ladies clean , giving us dirty looks, making us feel extremely uncomfortable. They did not acknowledge us, greet us or say give us a minute . Just nasty stares . The lady who was going to serve our food just walked away and the cashier had to walk over to us and take our order. And on top of it with an attitude , it felt like she was throwing our food on the plate and she wouldn't even say a word to us. We go to pay, and this other lady comes from the back talking in Spanish, and guess what , she starts talking about my boyfriend who was paying for our meal. Of course they had no idea that we are actually Spanish speakers . So I just stood there and listened and then she walks to the back and starts talking about me and the other lady comes out from the back and starts giving us a nasty stare. My boyfriend and I are just like WTH did we do wrong here? We just came to a fast food restaurant to get dinner. Then the older lady who was with her husband who had ordered and paid for their food before us came up to the cashier and asked if she could use the restroom. The cashier just looked at her and said "it's closed". Then another lady in Spanish says it's 10 pm what is she thinking. I looked at my watch and it was 9:57 . The older lady just walked away, I felt very bad for her . These people working provided the absolute worst customer service we have ever dealt with. I never leave bad reviews but I had to here because I hope action is taken if you care about your customers. I don't hope they get fired or lose their job but I would hope that they can get some customer service/hospitality training for future customers. We stopped in this Tuesday for some lunch, we sat inside. The servers got one of the four meals incorrect. My daughter asked for a rice bowl and she got a side of rice and a side of chicken inside the bowl container and inside other smaller containers. It was super odd. But I will report that the food I was pretty fresh tasting and well put together. The lettuce only had two leaves that I had to pull out... and the rest of my salad veggie bowl was good (salad/brown rice/beans/corn salsa/guac). The employees were not very responsive. They had a distant look in their eyes and it didn't see like they were paying attention much. When I got to the the register I needed to ask for chips like 5 times. He just didn't respond, it was weird. Then I asked about the restroom. The lady said there is a restroom but she didn't know the code it should be on my receipt, and walked away. I told her my receipt was in the trash, but she just shrugged. I was surprised for the response, not very customer service oriented. So I looked behind the counter but no one would pay me attention. We were the only family in the restaurant. I went to the trash that was overflowing and grabbed my receipt. I wasn't happy about that, but I got it and was able to use the restroom. They had a men's and women's room. The code was four digits, easy to use. The bathroom was okay, it had soap and towels. The place was okay in cleanliness. The floors were slimy... like there was grease on them. I can't say this was the best Chipotle experience I had, but it's better than the mall. But I don't think I will return to this one. I was not impressed. Such a big name, I expect more. I expect better customer service. I will not be back. If you need your Chipotle fix, I guess the food was good enough, but the service wasn't worth it. read more

This may be my last time eating at chipotle. Chipotle is one of my favorite things to order when I want something to go or am out and about. This is the third time this month that my order is not correct. 3/3 times I ordered chipotle my order has been wrong every time. I ordered a veggie burrito (guac) with pinto beans, brown rice, cheese, sour cream, lettuce, and corn salsa. In my order I received a burrito with white rice, pinto beans, and corn salsa. There was nothing else in my burrito, not even lettuce. We paid $13+ (not sure how much delivery was with uber) for a burrito with 2 of the ingredients I asked for. I'm going to be taking a long break from eating at chipotle because every location this has been the same deal. I do not recommend that you order through uber or doordash or grubhub or even the app! We have tried all three and we keep missing our ingredients. Don't waste your time and money. read more

So many questions, but ultimately, I don't go to this Chipotle and I will tell you why. In the maybe three years since they have been open I've experienced incomprehensible things including: -fecal matter on the floors in the bathrooms that I have had to tell staff about and then listen to them scream from down the hall when they find it. The entire staff at the time. In the bathroom. Gathered around to gaze upon the mess. -cold, awful food (honestly, the least of my concerns) -a regular state of affairs where the store looks like a tornado hit it (napkins smashed into the floors, no hot sauce, no utensils?, dirty, trash-strewn tables) -a visit where the employee said they were out of pico yet, lo, there it was at the take out station. Alas, she was "not allowed" to put it in my bowl because "it was already paid for" by future, unplaced take out orders. It is legitimately Lord of the Flies in there. I am perpetually surprised this location remains open and, though it is a five minute drive from my home, I go over the bridge to Edgewater where the food is good and I'm not so disgusted by the mess every time I walk in that I walk promptly out. read more

Things like random closures, online orders only or shortages of certain common items are commonplace with this location. This is literally the worst Chipotle ever. I rarely write reviews but tonight was the final straw. I live downtown but will now only make the drive out to the mall if I must have chipotle, however I'd prefer to not even give them my business. Every.single.time. we go there is some sort of issue or mistake, we've even been verbally assaulted by a worker once and had to walk out without our food multiple times. Tonight I went in and there were three, yes literally only 3, people in line in front of me. After 20 minutes I was still waiting. No clue what the people working were doing, they clearly didn't know either. The line started getting so long they had to shut the doors and do online only, yet myself and the 3 people in front of me were still waiting. When I finally got my order started, it then sat there with just the meat for about another 5 minutes before someone would ask me about the rest of the toppings. Then the guy tried to wrap my burrito and it must have been his first day cause he couldn't do it and had to ask another person to help. The woman came over without gloves or washing her hands (she had been working the register) and started trying to wrap it. At this point I just walked out with no food. I wish I could say this was the first time something like this has happened at this Chipotle but it's literally every time. I've complained to Chipotle corporate and they send a generic sorry email back. My honest advice is avoid this place at all costs. Try something else downtown or if you must have Chipotle, do the one at the mall, hopefully it's at least a little better. read more
