I hate to admit it, but it was actually fresher and better than Popeyes! What really made the experience special was the exceptional service we received from the owner/manager. I rarely write reviews, but I can personally vouch for this place--your tastebuds will thank me/you!!!

This particular morning, they were offering a breakfast burger special: smash patty with bacon, egg, cheese, onions, jalapeños, and cilantro lime sauce. Their regular menu sells two different burgers: The Classic Double (lettuce, tomato, burger sauce) and The Retro Double (pickles, onions, ketchup, mustard). I opted for the retro double. The burger was good. It had a nice crust on the outside. There was enough ketchup and mustard on the burger to taste, but not so much that it's dripping off the sides when you bite into it. The fries were good. I wish they offered a bigger cup of them since they're almost $4. Burgers are $9.79, fries are $3.95, and drinks are $2.00. They also have merchandise like t-shirts, hats, and hoodies for sale. The employee that took my order was really friendly. I hope they make a return to the Crofton Farmer's market! I would definitely get burgers from them again.

I appreciate the multiple sauces that you can add at the end especially the "hot honey" and the "fog glaze." I also ordered a "regular salad" and got to choose my ingredients: Spinach, spring greens, corn, red peppers, chickpeas, cucumbers and feta....outstanding! Today (June 10), I had gotten caught in a rainstorm, was running late, and decided to pick up dinner on the way home. There was one guy in line ahead of me, and a longer line forming behind me. The guy had a big order for his whole family, and instead of ordering ahead online (which is really easy), he was reading each individual order (about 8 total) off his phone. The four young people working that line tonight were so pleasant and professional. He kept getting the parts mixed up and making corrections, but they never missed a beat. When he finally paid and left, they were still smiling while serving me. My husband wants extra of this & less of that on his Original Italian, and they followed all of the instructions perfectly. The manager there is lucky to have this crew.

I would like for them to work on their flavor. I ordered the Vivi's Sandwich, swapped the fries out for mac and a single Jumbo Tender. Their mac&chz, I prefer to order from.... Chickfila. Their chicken was eh, decent. Kinda bland. The jumbo tender itself is big yes, but I'm not sure about $3.99 big... BUT their sauce was to die for!! Update review as of 9.12.2025 This update is base on…read moretoday's experience. We brought visiting family to try this spot because we enjoy their food. We placed three different orders to dine in. Our visiting family received their order correct. (Thankfully) My oldest daughter had missing poppers. While my order and my youngest daughter's order never arrived. Eventually, we asked for an update and the guy was clueless to what we were talking about. We had to explain multiple times that we never received any of the items on our receipt. And at this point, we wanted a full refund, including the tip that we provided prior to the service. The gentleman eventually went back to the kitchen to verify. I overheard them speaking in Spanish and one of them saying you "mean the food that's been sitting there". They didn't realize I spoke Spanish. I didn't receive an apology from the guy who brought the food. Again, we still had missing items after waiting all this time. I asked the gentleman for my Greek salad and the sauce. (I would like include that this has happen in previous visits) The guy was taking forever to bring out the items. I tried getting someone else's attention, but I was ignored. When I started to speak in Spanish the man washing dishes looked my way. But was not helpful, the man eventually came out with the salad and the sauce. At this point, our party who received their meals had finished and the restaurant was getting ready to close. I just took the food and left with my party without enjoying a hot meal. Since the food was sitting out for so long it wasn't as hot. Plus we felt rushed, as they prepped to close. I'm sad to say I've experience other mild issues but not as major as this one. The restaurants continues to be kept presentable and clean. But the quality of service is not the best and you always have to check you get all your items within your order. We meet the owner when they first open and they seem to be good people. I never claimed the gift card they offered from the original post because I believe in support business owners. Especially when they try to provide good quality food. I'll rather show my thanks by always being a returning customer. But I'm sad to write today's review. Today with the previous experiences was my final decision to write an updated review. If you decide to visit for take out, please verify you receive all your items. If you experience delays, follow up with someone because there is a chance your food is sitting on the kitchen counter. Overall, food is still good.
