Made a pit stop for lunch on the way to Ocean City. Pulled up to a gas station and knew it would be legit. They had a CA burrito on their menu, so of course I had to order it. MCarne asada was tender and flavorful, just wished the burrito had more meat. Came with a good amount of crispy fries, but also had rice! Legit CA burritos do not have rice in them, so this threw me off. Not bad, but definitely not what I was expecting. Service was friendly and my order was ready in a decent amount of time. My friend told me about this Mexican restaurant. We didn't expect much. But we were pleasantly surprised. We had a deep fried fish platter with rice and bean, a pork tlayuda, and a beef tongue taco. I like the new restaurant. It's close to home and an easy stop when we are too tired to cook. Good food, nice service, definitely some language issues (I'm Anglo American and only speak three languages, none of which are Spanish *sigh*). Only one person behind the counter speaks English and no one speaks German or Swedish. *grin* Not on our regular rotation but high on the convenience list. It's shocking to me that no one has reviewed this place yet, especially when other taco places in Annapolis have such high ratings (and aren't very good in my opinion). Maybe it's the fact that it's a truck and not an establishment that keeps folks away? Either way, I think they have the best tacos in Annapolis. They're solid, authentic and not as pricey as some others nearby. I haven't had anything else aside from the Carne Asada tacos but my friend had a Carnitas burrito and she said it was delicious. They are open every day from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. I'm not sure of their exact address, but they are located right behind the Bruster's Ice Cream on Forest Drive. Took our tacos to go and realized, in the car, that they were "packaged" on styrofoam plates and wrapped in foil....literally looked like the leftovers you take home from a family party. I have been here many times unfortunately the way Karla A , the female the works taking orders every time I go , is always extremely rude . Not only was she rude to me but she was rude to my 60 year old father . I stopped into this place late Saturday afternoon before going out on a sailboat. They have these huge flat screens for the menu that are a little overwhelming to look at. We noticed those right away. We were hungry and knew we'd be out for a few hours so just wanted to split something quick. We ordered the Original Burrito with pork as the protein. The service was friendly and quick. I can't handle spicy food very well, and the burrito had some kick but not too overwhelming. It was stuffed with rice, beans, cheese, sour cream and avocado (most places would charge you extra!) and came with a side of chips and green salsa. For $8, this is a steal! I feel foolish not to come here before (that's about to change though). Me and wife came here after seeing the raving reviews and the images on yelp and had to have a go. We got the Tostada De Tinga (4 supreme chicken tacos) and Mojarra Frita (fried whole tilapia). The Mojarra Frita comes with beans, guacamole, salsa and rice (and 2 side sauces) for $11. UNREAL! Anywhere else it will go for at least $23 or up the portions were generous as well the Tilapia was huge. Me and my spouse was full sharing the Mojarra Frita and had to take the Tostada De Tinga to go (which was also out of this universe). I was sooooo happy after eating here and was in a food coma. Hands down my top choice now and we will be back many many times. If you eat here once, you will surely be back. read more

The dining space is blazing hot and uncomfortably tight, especially in the summertime. Blaring Spanish TV in the background makes it difficult to hear your own self think, much less have a conversation. The parking lot is pretty tight. Regardless, the food is pretty darn good and I keep coming back, but just for take-out. The tortas are the size of your head and the burritos are large and spicy. I really hate to leave a 1 star review, because the food is amazing here, but I have no choice. Five people from my office ordered lunch from here. Four of us later got violently ill, and one was even hospitalized with food poisoning. The four of us that got sick had beans in our order. The one person that was spared from food poisoning did not have beans on their order. So I have to assume the beans were not properly cared for. Call and ask which are on the special because it changes every week. Their salsa verde is so hot. I love hot sauce but for a supposed cool sauce it is really up there on the hot scale. They add avocado bits and I like that. I had the steak and roasted seasoned pork tacos. Loved them both. My friend had the chicken tacos and enjoyed them too.
