Great food! The service was good and the ambiance is nice. We went during happy hour, what a great find. We will be back.

This is a true fine dining experience. Grab a group of loved ones and/or friends and order a variety of the tapas menu. The sauces are rich and delicious. The meats are cooked to perfection. The service is attentive and the decor is classy. I cannot say enough nice things about this place. I might suggest they consider offering aguas frescas for some more variety on their NA beverages.

Food was tasty and service was quick, however bartender wasn't very friendly/welcoming. Would dine again but at a high-top or dining room table.

DELICIOUS! OMGoodness... what started as a casual conversation at the salon, led to a local restaurant recommendation and one of the most delectable dinners I've had in a while. The service was excellent, the food incredible and the ambiance inviting. We had the paella, fajitas, margaritas, and a few tapas', and all of them were unmatched. The tastes exploded in my mouth every time! Go now!

I was thoroughly impressed with Jalapeños. It is located within a strip mall and once inside, I was very impressed with the entirety of the experience. The restaurant has a nice water feature, is kept clean throughout, has a full bar area, and Esteban did a fine job as our server. The waitstaff continually tended to us and serviced us at the opportune times of the meal. We shared a "La Clasica" Margarita (House Tequila, Triple Sec, Orange Liquor, and sour mix). The drink was perfectly made and we enjoyed every drop. We shared the following and both were delicious: Albondigas de Pollo (Spanish style chicken meatballs, sautéed with almonds and Spanish brandy cream sauce). Pollo al Ajillo (Diced chicken breast, sautéed with whole garlic, tomatoes, onions, brandy and herb butter). For dessert, we had a Flan (créme caramel). It had the perfect amount of sweetness, texture, and disappeared in seconds. I highly recommend Jalapeños and try to add it to your Annapolis itinerary.

What a cozy restaurant. We had reservations for 6 and we were immediately seated. We were right next to a fireplace that felt wonderful with the cold, windy rain outside. The restaurant has that upscale vibe without a feeling of being overly stuffy. The food is more Spanish as opposed to Mexican and I can tell you it was fabulous. Our wait staff came almost immediately and took our drink orders, which were promptly served. We ordered multiple Tapas ( appetizers). A basket of warm bread and butter was served to us immediately as we waited for our order. Everything we ordered had wonderful flavors and presentation. The only thing we were disappointed with was the Croquettes, they tasted like deep fried mush. Everything else was delicious. This restaurant was great when it comes to Food, Service and ambiance, great for family or romantic dinner.

It looks like their website has expired, does anyone know? I sure hope they haven't gone out of business as they are my favorite restaurant.

Susan... we just dined there on the last Friday in May and it was fantastic! Many amazing tapas dishes to choose from too.

I eat a lot of Mexican food and this is easily the best I've tasted for Miles around. Birria enchiladas were off the hook. And the salsa there is fantastic! Just a couple more notes about pricing though, because I think it's worthwhile to mention: there is no lunch menu. Most Mexican joints have a lunch menu, with smaller sizes and lower prices. not here. The portions are very generous so be prepared to get a dinner menu and to-go box. And I ordered a draft Mexican beer and got a 24 ounce glass for nine dollars. I think this is another attempt to raise your check. Most places will give you the option of a 16 or 24 ounce. Yes these are nitpicks, but I'm not complaining because the food is so freaking good.

The ambiance is very cozy, their customer service is also great and friendly but the best part is the food. Portions are really generous and tasty. My personal favorite are the steak tacos & the birria tacos. Last Wednesday we ordered takeout for my Mother in law's birthday because she also loves this place. She always says she feels like she's eating healthy food because everything is so fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this place.

Our server, Fernando, set us up with separate checks. Several of us enjoyed margaritas. Everyone thought the food was amazing. I had the Ensalada Sin Fronteras with chicken. We started with chips and salsa, and they were excellent. The salsa wasn't overly spicy, just full of great flavor, and the chips were fresh and crisp--definitely a strong start to the meal. My wife ordered the chicken chimichanga. It was quite different from what we usually get at the Mexican spots we frequent--it was one large chimichanga served with a small salad, whereas we're used to getting two smaller ones with rice and beans, which we usually share. Still, it was tasty and satisfying in its own unique way. I ordered the Chicharrón en Salsa Verde--crispy pork and onions in a green tomato sauce, topped with cilantro and served with rice and warm flour tortillas. It had great flavor and the pork had a nice texture--crisp but not dry. Our friends ordered a variety of dishes, including: Chile en Nogada - a stuffed poblano pepper with seasoned ground beef, covered in a chilled almond and walnut nogada sauce, topped with pomegranate seeds and served with rice. It was rich, colorful, and very flavorful. A beautiful dish with red and yellow sauces and a white cream swirl--unfortunately I can't recall the name, but it was as good as it looked. Six tacos with assorted meats--each one was fantastic. The flavors were bold and fresh. To drink, most of us had margaritas, and you could tell they use fresh ingredients--these were excellent and not overly sweet like some places serve them. Service was top-notch from start to finish--friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The only disappointing part of the evening came at the end, when we learned that the restaurant will be closing in about a month. The building is being torn down, possibly for high-rise condos. The staff doesn't know if or where they'll reopen. It's a real shame, especially in an area that's already struggling with traffic and congestion. More homes, fewer gems like this. I just wish we had discovered Sin Fronteras Café sooner. Hopefully they find a new home nearby, and we'll definitely try to come back before they close for good.

My girlfriend and I were staying for a night at the Gibson's Inn just a block away and so we stumbled upon this place just from walking around. Glad we came here for dinner.
