I think the bad experience I had before with the server there was a one-off, although I made sure to watch my wallet and check the prices of everything I ordered. I eat a lot of Mexican food and this is easily the best I've tasted for Miles around. Birria enchiladas were off the hook. And the salsa there is fantastic! Just a couple more notes about pricing though, because I think it's worthwhile to mention: there is no lunch menu. Most Mexican joints have a lunch menu, with smaller sizes and lower prices. not here. The portions are very generous so be prepared to get a dinner menu and to-go box. And I ordered a draft Mexican beer and got a 24 ounce glass for nine dollars. I think this is another attempt to raise your check. Most places will give you the option of a 16 or 24 ounce. Yes these are nitpicks, but I'm not complaining because the food is so freaking good. read more

The street tacos are the real deal: fresh tortillas, generous portions, and the kind of flavor that makes you order a second round before you've finished the first. The al pastor is spot on and the salsa actually has some heat to it, which I respect. Chips hit the table fast, service was friendly without being over the top, and the margaritas don't disappoint either. I am a regular at Mi Lindo Cancun and I have to say is one of the best places in town if you're craving some Mexican food. The ambiance is very cozy, their customer service is also great and friendly but the best part is the food. Portions are really generous and tasty. My personal favorite are the steak tacos & the birria tacos. Last Wednesday we ordered takeout for my Mother in law's birthday because she also loves this place. This is one of a kind restaurant. We stopped by here after a long day in Ocean City, MD and were looking for an authentic Mexican food and this popped up on our list. The food was really good from price to portion of serving. We had a feast and we enjoyed every bite of it. Also their guacamole is freshly made, "LITERALLY", when we ordered it, we saw our server making it on the side. The staff were all welcoming, we had a celebrant in the group and when they found out at the end of our meal a pack of staff approached us with dessert and a big hat singing happy birthday. SO FUN! My friend and hairstylist was munching on a tasty-looking platter today. I asked her where she got it from and she told me about MiLindo Cancun Grill. After my hair appointment, I immediately found my way to MLCG and I have no regrets. I ordered a shrimp-pasta dish as well as the mix fajitas. I was hungry and wanted some variety. Don't judge. Both were really good. Although I did take-out, the interior of the restaurant was pleasant. There were quite a few families enjoying dinner and everyone seemed to be happy and satisfied. My order was delish. I will definitely be visiting MLCG again to try some other menu items. Next time, I will enjoy my order on sight. Oh this place is just straight up GOOD no nonsense delicious grub! We came into the restaurant for the first time and the food was 100% better. We usually order out from here. Don't bother. Rude waitress (Giselle) ruined our experience at this restaurant. I order one type of tacos, and she brought another. When I told her I received the wrong food, she became defensive and said "no, you ordered this and I repeated your order back to you" (which she didn't do). When I asked if I could have what I ordered, she responded with, "well, you're going to have to pay for additional food". She realized she screwed up and took the tacos off the bill, yet I still didn't get what I had originally ordered. We will NOT be going back to this place. Phenomenal food. Amazing flavors. I ordered the chicken and cheese papusas, never had them before, and was blown away. From the outside of the small shopping mall that currently is going through substantial renovations including the parking lot you would assume that all the shops are closed but the windows are just tinted and extremely dark. There is no bar to sit at which took me off guard. Very good happy hour options that consists of more traditional Mexican dishes rather than your basic tacos and quesadillas. I have been here twice recently for lunch dates with my son. He loves their kid burrito with beans, rice and cheese also comes with fries. I have had their pupusas and they are amazing. Small, mom and pop spot. Very intimate and traditional decor. Service was good. We were consistently checked on. The food came out really fast. The empanadas were bland. I didn't like them at all. The chorizo burrito I had was really good! I would get that again. The pasta also lacked flavor. It was missing something. Maybe tajin, It just needed some sort of seasoning to make It better. My best friend recommended this place and insisted I eat there, so we went. I didn't think too much of the restaurant from the outside (it's in a little strip plaza containing about four-five businesses), but once we stepped inside, it was a pleasant surprise. Very eloquent, nicely furnished with plenty of seating. Soccer was on the TVs and "Quisiera Saber" by Carin Leon was playing on the sound system, so I knew they were not messing around with authenticity. We were seated quickly, our waiter took our food order right away and water, chips & salsa were on the table in no time. Not even 15 minutes went by when our entrees were brought out; my friend had the taco salad (which he said was the best ever), and my go-to Mexican dish is the chicken enchilada plate. It was really delicious and filling. I'll be honest - not the best I've ever had, but it was up there. My friend asked me to rate the food, and I gave it an 8 out of 10. I could have seen going up to a 9 had the beans had a little thicker layer of cotija cheese sprinkled on top, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with an 8. I would have no hesitation about going back and possibly either trying something else on their vast menu, or sticking with what I know I would enjoy. But I do recommend this place because of the fast service, friendly smiling faces of the workers and, most importantly, the food was satisfying. read more

We made our first visit to Mi Lindo tonight. My husband has not been satisfied with most of the other Mexican restaurants we have visited around here, but even my fussy customer enjoyed this meal. We arrived early, before 5:30 on Friday. There were still tables available, but the place is popular and it was filling up. The noise level is energetic. We both ordered beer while we studied the menu. I settled on the Salmon Southwest salad, which was good. My husband ordered the Vuelve de Vida soup. The server mentioned that it can be spicy, but he said it could be prepared in a milder version. It was a huge bowl, full of seafood, including big shrimp, scallops, & corn, with a delicious creamy broth. He also ordered a chicken quesadilla. All of the portions were very generous. This is my second time at this establishment. Today I just wanted a quesadilla. I ordered the barbacoa quesadilla. It was four large pieces with lots of toppings. There was sour cream, lettuce, guacamole, and pico de gallo. It even came with some green and orange sauce. The green one kind of taste like tomatillos, with cilantro, and maybe a little jalapeño. Just a little kick but really not hot. No complaints when it came to my meal. The only thing I didn't like is I ordered via GrubHub for carry-out, and there was a 20 minute difference in the the time range for order pick-up. I ended up calling the restaurant at the beginning of the range and my order was already ready. Next time, I'll just call the restaurant to place my order for a more accurate time frame. read more

It was a delivery but ive carried out before and the service was great but the place looks like an unregulated third world dive. Their queso was good it had chunks of jalapeños in it and some chorizo making for a yummy bite with each dip but it wasn't until I added some of their salsa to it when it became just scrumptious in each cheesy way! Of the many choices I went with the chimichanga it was full of my choice meat which I picked pastor because that's always a good choice it had rice and beans in it as well with some of the same queso we had before drizzled all over the top of it definitely making for a yummy fried burrito goodness! The food here was very good for what it was and delicious we all enjoyed our meals very much so along with that queso! I popped in here for lunch by myself a few days ago. I was seated right away and given a basket of delightful chips and salsa. The chips were fresh,thin and crispy. I ordered a mango mojito which came in a shaker - quite large. Yummy Yummy yummy, i've got food in my tummy! So I stopped at this place to give myself a pre-birthday celebration. I was greeted with warm customer service and seated promptly. Considering that we are amidst a pandemic, this restaurant had their tables spaced out perfectly which I truly loved and admired! & Lots of people were also grabbing food to go, which is always a great sign. They gave me salsa and chips, and the salsa was absolutely delicious. Lots of bold flavors, with a spice kick as well. Most Mexican restaurants make salsa, but not all of them make it well. I ordered enchiladas suizas for my main course, and they knocked me off of my feet! This dish felt like it was cooked by an old Mexican Grandmother! The beans were flavored perfectly, the enchiladas was warm and I could taste the zest of the salsa verde and the hints of fresh avocado and garlic. The rice was seasoned lightly, and complimented the beans and enchiladas perfectly. By the energy of my writing so far, I am sure that you can assume that this dish didn't last very long at all, which would be the absolute truth! Check this place out, you won't regret it.
