This place was amazing. Very clean. I walked in as soon as they opened and one of the employees was wiping the front glass door. I walk in and it smells amazing, like it had just been cleaned. And the only reason I even tried this place is because the place I originally went to, that's not too far from there, as soon as I stepped in it smelled like straight s***. Like a sewer pipe broke. I immediately left. Looked up another Mexican restaurant near by and don't regret it!!

Great appetizers and real Pozole. Friendly greeting. Margaritas are delicious. Will be back.

We were staying in Annapolis and decided to stop by for breakfast. Decent breakfast food. Good service. We would come back again to try dinner. Nice and open atmosphere.

I've reviewed this place before. It's my "go to" place for Mexican food. Flavorful food, friendly staff, and excellent margaritas. Ask for the "skinny" variety if you want fresh squeezed limes and no mixers.

We come here all the time for dinner and margaritas. The food is always consistent. Now the new owner Jorge who was at their parent store as our favorite waiter at MiCasita is now at LaSierra. Laura is the best waitress there. Jorge has upgraded everything including now brunch with an unbelievable menu with so many delicious options. I so recommend this place as my favorite Mexican restaurant and now my favorite brunch. I ordered the carnivores omelette that was off the hook. They brought us a free dessert to try. Love this place.

This is my group's favorite Mexican food spot in the county. The service and quality of food is always fantastic at La Sierra. The staff is always pleasant and welcoming, the service is quick and accurate. The authentic food is top notch. My personal favorite is the burritos especial. Perfectly seasoned and seared ground beef overfill the tortillas. The Chile sauce and cheese are just right, without being overpowering. The drink selections are wide ranging, not just the usual cantina fare. Topping everything off is the tres leches cake, which is a wonderful dessert. La Sierra makes the best I've had, without being mealy or runny. Parking is OK, but can be a bit crowded. If you call ahead, they have no problem seating larger groups, either.

Guacamole. Ehhh. Not worth the $14.

Great little spot in the area. The staff is very friendly and the food is good. The guacamole is ok but not worth the $14. The margaritas were pretty great. The only thing I was a bit annoyed about was I asked for a small side of hot sauce and found out the bartender charged me $1.50 for it. If that's the case, they need to tell people it's extra, even for such a small amount of sauce. Will maybe try the place again.

I eat a lot of Mexican food and this is easily the best I've tasted for Miles around. Birria enchiladas were off the hook. And the salsa there is fantastic! Just a couple more notes about pricing though, because I think it's worthwhile to mention: there is no lunch menu. Most Mexican joints have a lunch menu, with smaller sizes and lower prices. not here. The portions are very generous so be prepared to get a dinner menu and to-go box. And I ordered a draft Mexican beer and got a 24 ounce glass for nine dollars. I think this is another attempt to raise your check. Most places will give you the option of a 16 or 24 ounce. Yes these are nitpicks, but I'm not complaining because the food is so freaking good.

She always says she feels like she's eating healthy food because everything is so fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this place.

Our server, Fernando, set us up with separate checks. Several of us enjoyed margaritas. Everyone thought the food was amazing. I had the Ensalada Sin Fronteras with chicken. We started with chips and salsa, and they were excellent. The salsa wasn't overly spicy, just full of great flavor, and the chips were fresh and crisp--definitely a strong start to the meal. My wife ordered the chicken chimichanga. It was quite different from what we usually get at the Mexican spots we frequent--it was one large chimichanga served with a small salad, whereas we're used to getting two smaller ones with rice and beans, which we usually share. Still, it was tasty and satisfying in its own unique way. I ordered the Chicharrón en Salsa Verde--crispy pork and onions in a green tomato sauce, topped with cilantro and served with rice and warm flour tortillas. It had great flavor and the pork had a nice texture--crisp but not dry. Our friends ordered a variety of dishes, including: Chile en Nogada - a stuffed poblano pepper with seasoned ground beef, covered in a chilled almond and walnut nogada sauce, topped with pomegranate seeds and served with rice. It was rich, colorful, and very flavorful. A beautiful dish with red and yellow sauces and a white cream swirl--unfortunately I can't recall the name, but it was as good as it looked. Six tacos with assorted meats--each one was fantastic. The flavors were bold and fresh. To drink, most of us had margaritas, and you could tell they use fresh ingredients--these were excellent and not overly sweet like some places serve them. Service was top-notch from start to finish--friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The only disappointing part of the evening came at the end, when we learned that the restaurant will be closing in about a month. The building is being torn down, possibly for high-rise condos. The staff doesn't know if or where they'll reopen. It's a real shame, especially in an area that's already struggling with traffic and congestion. More homes, fewer gems like this. I just wish we had discovered Sin Fronteras Café sooner. Hopefully they find a new home nearby, and we'll definitely try to come back before they close for good.

My girlfriend and I were staying for a night at the Gibson's Inn just a block away and so we stumbled upon this place just from walking around. Glad we came here for dinner.
