After a stressful day of shopping I needed some food and I was in the mood for fast food. I looked nearby to see what was available and after deciding I didn't want a burger, so-called Mexican it was. I pulled in and went right up to a kiosk to start ordering. To be honest, the kiosks were the most polite employees in here. Good thing too, as you rarely saw a member of the staff in here. I placed my order and just kind of stood there. I figured since I was waiting for my food I would use the facilities...but as you get to the door, you realize that you need a code to enter the bathroom. Luckily for me, a staff member was wiping down the tables and I was able to ask for the code. When I finished with the facilities, I came back out and my food was not ready yet. I wasn't even offered my cup so I could at least fill it up. Maybe they were going to fill it up and serve it to me when my food was ready. Since my order was not ready, I ended up finding myself a seat. Good thing I did too, it was another ten minutes before my food was ready. They were so slow in here preparing the food that a driver pulled up to pick up a delivery that they just left without the food. I feel bad for that person that ordered food. In fact, you can tell that they were more concerned with the people using the drive thru than they were with the people actually inside the building. I know that you need to be attentive all around, but ignoring one group of people over another doesn't accomplish this. When I did get my food, they automatically put my food in a to go bag, even though when I was ordering I said I was dining in. Nothing to worry about, but I did have to unpack the bag to eat. Food was on par for a Taco Bell, but service is seriously lacking here. read more

In an act of desperation, I walked into this location (read my last review as to why -- I've had a history of negative experiences at this specific Taco Bell). I was just around the corner thrifting and was in desperate need to use the bathroom, but they didn't have a public restroom. So I paid for my things and immediately made my way to this Taco Bell figuring the service here is awful, but at the very least I can use the toilet... I was so very wrong. The bathroom here is for customers only as per the sign on the door as you need a code to unlock it, but only after making a purchase. So, I walked out to the front counter and waited. And waited. And waited. After about 10 minutes, the person in the drive thru waved someone down and finally someone came up to me. I ordered a taco and a drink and asked for the code. After using the restroom, I went back out to wait for my taco. A *single* taco took an additional 10 minutes. I understand they may have only had a couple people working as it's a Wednesday and their drive thru may have had a line of cars, but c'mon... a single taco should have been done in less than a minute. Thanks again, Annapolis Taco Bell, for reminding me why I don't come to you. P.S. This is the literal worst Taco Bell I have ever been to. The employees are so rude and never get your order right.

THIS LOCATION IS A DUMP. Upon entering you're not greeted by anyone. Had to wait almost two minutes for someone to come from the back to take the order even. Didn't want to use the kiosk because you can see the heavy amount of bacteria grease on the screen from people touching them. Since they had just opened. That means they don't SANITIZE the screens at the end of the night prior. TRULY DISGUSTING..... The AC either wasn't on or not working. So ventilation was very poor and it was even starting to become humid inside. While the cashier was taking the order. She never smiled or anything. Also when she repeated the order back to me. It sounded very depressing. Despite her being the manager and just opening for the day. You could already tell she didn't want to be there. She even handed me the receipt while looking down at her phone. Upon getting the food which is now overpriced due to inflation. The box felt very light for almost $10 in food for Taco Bell. After inspecting the tacos It was clearly evident. None of them had even a DECENT AMOUNT OF MEAT on them. Especially the taco supreme which is almost a $4 taco by itself. The chips were fresh. However I stop eating the chips when I seen one of the employees come in off the street and shake hands with the guy filling the chip bags in the kitchen. **SEE PICS** while he was wearing gloves and neither one of them washed their hands nor did the guy filling the chip bags change his gloves. After seeing that I just discarded everything and took a loss. The general crowd is unknown here since the place was 99.9% empty when I was there. The noise level was almost whisper quiet. Felt very strange for a Taco Bell. Lastly. After using the restroom. You could easily tell they're just wiping the stuff down here with water most likely. No chemicals or REAL soap. **SEE PICS** Also the employees were too lazy to even take the chairs down off the tables despite already being open for the day. **SEE PICS** Overall. NEVER AGAIN. I don't know why I keep coming back to this place - nostalgia I guess? But what's sadder than this taco (pictured) is that I 100% expected this. Turns out that making shitty food that is unidentifiable is like a badge of honor to the inner circle of permed bruhs that work there. This Taco Bell likes to limit it's menu and then randomly close with a line of cars, 40 minute before time, turning away the rest of the line of 5 cars in line and then decide to ignore the last car like it's not sitting there.. Then when approached and called out about it, they act like it's your fault.. tell your employees who are so depressed with their jobs to actually finish, that there is a publicly posted time.. people plan to that posted time. It's difficult to admit, but Taco Bell is my guilty pleasure. Unfortunately, the location on West Street in Annapolis is no good. From the outside, the Taco Bell is fantastic. Very new building in a great location. The food when prepared is pretty good. I haven't had any issues with the food's taste, but my issues are with the service. This is quite possibly the slowest Taco Bell on the planet. The one drive-thru employee (not going to say her name) is literally the most miserable person on the planet. She never says hello and is rude when handing over items. Additionally, I have had several instances in the drive-thru where they have messed up my order. I'm not a fan of Sour Cream and when I get a certain burrito, I say "No Sour Cream" and somehow it is always on the burrito when I bite into it. Additionally, you must ALWAYS check your bag to ensure you have everything that you ordered. They will short change you. I'm not sure if this is on purpose, but either way, someone should check the contents of the bag before handing over to the customer. The past two times that I have ordered which were all in a two week's period, I was told that they did not have large soft drink cups and that I would have to "deal" with a medium size even though I'm paying for a large and just today, apparently they had no hash browns but I could get the Cinnabon item instead (figures that they did not put it in my bag). Anyway, if you want a late night taco, Taco Bell is a great choice....just not this one. read more

The drive-thru always takes a ridiculous amount of time no matter the time of day, and they frequently get orders incorrect. Last time I was there they managed to mess up the entire order with the exception of the soda. I went back to get a refund because I was not waiting another 30 minutes for them to remake my tacos correctly. Nigel, who was "helping" me, was incredibly rude and didn't seem to care about making things right at all, he tried to give me back only half of the money I paid for the order and was completely unapologetic. I work in retail and if we mess up we do all we can to correct things for the customer, in order to retain them as a customer. Needless to say I've given this place several chances and they have failed to improve. In future I will choose the McDonalds or Wendy's right down the street instead of wasting my time and money here. read more

But the associate who talked to me on the phone was incredibly rude and doesn't know shit about customer service. They should seriously have training on how to be a human being. What do you expect to read in this review? It's a Taco Bell! Located directly across West Street from the Honda dealership, this Taco Bell is NOT located in the mall...and that's great! It's also a close-ish drive to downtown Annapolis, certainly well within the limits of "Hey Uber driver, we need to make a stop before we go home..." after a night of drinking downtown. Being that it's new, it's still fresh and clean. But let's be honest, I'll eat in a pretty nasty Taco Bell and still be very excited that I'm eating Taco Bell. Perfectly adequate fast food. This location is usually clean, prompt and accurate. The service isn't bad. Turnover seems low and the staff has it together. The only bad thing is you can't make a left turn out (back towards the highway) which presents logistical issues occasionally. This location has the screens so you can either order off them or from the cashier. I like ordering from the screens because it makes it easier to browse the menu and customize the order. read more
