Menu and pricing as of 4/11/2026

Amazing food, portions and pricing! The service is always good and they have a dine in area if you wanted to eat there. I'm not sure if they always have it but the "House Special Chicken" was soooo good. Cash Only

Half-and-half, orange chicken and vegetables

Reasonable prices, but the food didn't quite hit the spot for me. I got orange chicken, mixed vegetables, half-and-half chow mein and rice, plus two egg rolls. Unfortunately, everything was overly greasy and lacked flavor. Maybe I came on an off day, or I just ordered the wrong thing I might try something else on their menu next time. Service was OK. The restaurant was decent. Plenty of space to dine in.

Been coming here since 2012. Besides the food itself ,it has a special place in my heart and in my families. Sadly , we are not so pleased with it any more. They have become very stingy with their portions and the food doesn't taste as good as it did back then. I asked for an egg roll and got a veggie roll. Fried rice was delicious , orange chicken was mid. Forever a place in my heart but I'm not a huge fan any more/:

First time here: Large amount of food, good taste, a lot of places to sit. We came for lunch on a Friday, after stopping at the close-by Kaiser-Permanente Long Beach office. The menu is clearly shown, and whatever food is available, are the choices you have. They do seem to have a side order section where you can order things like Mongolian beef or shrimp fried rice. All the classics were there: my wife usually share a combo at other places, so did the same thing here: one egg roll, orange chicken, broccoli beef, on top of mix of fried rice and noodles, for $11.50 (free small drink). The nice lady scooped the food into carry-out container, put it into a plastic bag for transport. Then we paid (only cash accepted here), and found a place to sit. They don't ask if dine-in/carry out since everything gets packaged in the carryout plastic containers, and because there is no option for 3 items, no need for a separate container. They will basically fill up the clam shell container with enough food so it shuts, but no air between. We ate inside in one of the booths, and the food was good. Orange chicken sauce had decent white meat chicken with a very tangy, orange sauce...got pretty soggy. The broccoli beef was good too...very fresh broccoli pieces, chopped and cooked well, and the beef wasn't too mushy. The egg roll was crispy, but little flavor. And the small soda was greatly appreciated.

Entrance to some fast food.

I used to love coming here a few years back because of their fried chicken. It's very delicious but can get a bit to salty if your mouth is dry. Their choices of food selection are not bad either. Per combo, they give you a piece of egg rolls and a small soda. It's not bad for $10.50 plus tax. I ordered 2 combos, half rice and noodles plus fried chicken with kong pow chicken. Wasn't too bad. There are so many to choose from. They can get pretty busy but not that busy, dont let the line stretch from the outside fool you. Just how they set up their food stations cause people stand outside. Simple tactics to get this place looking busy if you were to drive by and saw a line from the outside. This place needs to be better by using the back space for line formation instead of storage space. Looks so unsanitary for a business that's been operating for a couple of decades now. Dont get me wrong, business doing pretty good, actually. But would be grateful if they invest something into the business to give back to the consumer. Simple upgrades wouldn't hurt. This place is unique in their own way, from design and presentation, it's pretty nice. If you're in the area, stop by and say hi. Enjoy it here or on the go. Share your experience. P.s. Don't forget to smile cause you're beautiful. SYOY!

My family and I have been going here for years, it has been our go to place for Chinese food in Long Beach. Here are a few things I'd like to note: -this place is CASH only -lines get pretty long around dinner time, so anytime before four is when you wanna go -Pay attention to the workers when your plate is being filled. When you have order multiple plates, they can accidentally mix up your plates or give the wrong entrees. Checking your order is essential -Lately, it has been a bit more inconsistent. Some days, the food is very flavorful and other days can be really bland. No way to tell -if you get combos with no drink, they will substitute for an extra eggroll -tons of options and variety with the entrees - a few of my favorite items would have to be chop suey, fried chicken (crispy and salty), and the mushroom dish -great portion sizes, definitely enough for three meals Regardless, I always recommend this spot to my friends.

2 item combo comes with a small drink and an egg roll

Not my go-to Chinese Fast Food place by far, but they do have a few things going for them: 1. They are open late 2. The 2-item combo comes with 1 egg roll & a small drink and is $10.50 I was also kind of impressed to taste orange juice or some sort of fresh oranges in the Orange Chicken. Other than that, it's not the freshest or most flavorful Chinese Food on the block, but it is available later than most.

Supposedly orange chicken chow main beef and broccoli

If I could I'd give it a negative the food is greasy with no seasoning not flavor I ordered the beef and broccoli with orange chicken and chow main and all the whole plate is trash af I want a refund the two vegetable egg rolls it came with hardly had vegetables in it and even that was hardly edible

Two item combo plate: house special chicken, broccoli beef, with egg rolls

My girlfriend and I are torn on this place. She loves it most for the egg rolls that come with the food. She got the broccoli beef and house special chicken with jalapeños. Her beef was good. I had the orange chicken and the green bean chicken. The chicken was crispy enough unfortunately but it had a lot of flavor on the orange side. The green beans crunched, not the chicken. The rice and chow mein was fine, but I think next time I'm going to try something else to go with the broccoli beef. I just gotta figure out what that will be.

Five dollar lunch that'll satisfy you and fill you up. Orange chicken is popular, chow mein can be greasy. Long lines around noon and 5-6pm.

I wanted to find out if this spot was as good as I had remembered it. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I was practically disappointed by two out of the three dishes. Two of them that should've been the best. I'll start out with the Mongolian beef. There was plenty of meat and onions and green onions, but there was no kick to it, not the greatest flavor either. It was also a little watery, which was a major letdown for me. I was really looking forward to enjoying it with the white rice that came with it. Next up was the chicken chow mein. I was expecting to have long noodles in its to go box but when I was eating it, it was small noodle cuts. That was a bit shocking for me. It also didn't have a lot of great flavor, and again I was let down. I did get vegetable fried rice, because who could actually screw that up. It was the best dish out of the three. Not a ton of flavor in it but enough for me to actually enjoy it. I tried using the leftover chow mein by putting it in a skillet and adding a few spices and oils. It improved it just a little bit, but not enough. Clearly, I can't go back here. It's like they say: buy cheap get cheap.

She did not let me down as we walked in and noticed how truly authentic it was going to look. Chinese decor on the walls and boxes of restaurant supples in the corners. Just as it should be. The bonus was that they had a TV showing the NBA Finals when we arrived. Pretty nice touch and in the back of the restaurant so as not to distract everyone. We went with a couple of our favorite dishes to run along and the Chicken Lo Mein was pretty good. Crispy pieces of chicken and soft noodles and veggies to go with it. We chose to get Mongolian Beef and it was absolutely fantastic. Crispy celery, green onions and decent sized pieces of meat in a terrific sauce. I would love to try to replicate that. My wife wanted a shrimp dish so she ordered the honey walnut and it even looked good to me when they brought it. She loves egg rolls, so she got a four piece and said they were pretty good. My biggest wow of the visit was their vegetable fried rice. MY GOD. I dont know what they season or flavor it with, but every fork full of rice that i ate, it was this sense of flavor that reminded me of butter or something else. I really loved the sensation i experienced from this particular dish. I am really curious on what it actually is. I will definitely be ordering out or coming in for Chinese because that reminded of many other places that put out fantastic dishes.

I was very happy that they had mushu pork since not too many Chinese restaurants offer this dish anymore. It did not disappoint. The pork chop was very crispy and tasted so good. The roast duck noodle soup was packed with duck meat which was tender and moist. Service was quick and efficient. Prices were reasonable. I was pleasantly surprised how good this restaurant was. Will definitely be back.

Well, I figure before I start on the new pile of reviews I need to write from my road trip, I…read moreshould probably also finish the reviews I needed to write from *before* my road trip, like this relatively nearby Thai place we went to now about 3 months ago, that I wrote down notes for and never posted, cause life is overwhelming. Anyway, now about 3 months ago... we were here around lunchtime on a Saturday, cause we were in the area, and hadn't tried it yet. Service was great with one weight hiccup. We sat down and had water in front of us and our order taken basically immediately. Ordered a pad se ew, khao soi ($16 each for the entrees), and a large Thai tea ($7) to share. The pad ke mow and the Thai tea came out basically immediately. We'd already drunk all our water and had someone come back out to refill it, when the khao soi showed up about 15 minutes later with no mention of the delay. (We also got our check and paid quickly when we were done. Dunno what happened with the khao soi.) The Thai tea was great, and if you're sharing it with someone, 7 bucks is a great price for basically two Thai teas. The pad se ew - the first dish we always judge a Thai place on, being one of both of our favorite Thai dishes - was excellent. Great noodles, perfectly cooked and seasoned, with plenty of Chinese broccoli (I always like to call out the places that use inferior, wrong American broccoli instead, as was *not* the case here). 16 bucks, but that seems to be the going rate these days for Thai food (I remember when it was like half that much...), and you get a good portion. Good portion on the khao soi too. Wonderfully delicious crispy chicken, and a good amount of it. Great curry. Slightly too many crispy noodles, slightly not enough of the regular king - noodle-wise, just ok. In terms of khao soi, ST Noodle is definitely still the gold standard, with Thai District in 2nd. This could be 3rd, though. "Medium" spicy also wasn't very spicy - my wife liked it; I liked it a lot more after adding a bunch of chili sauce.

But this place is a must. You know what to expect and the food is alway great so to be a regular is nice. Every time we stop by, there not usually a wait time even though it's pretty lively. We alway get seated pretty fast. The place isn't too big but decent in size with two sections available. Staff are alway so friendly and welcoming. That's a good sign and of course the food, another reason why we come here whenever we're in the area. I have my usual that's a must for me as I know what to expect. We tend to go with either their larb or papaya salad which both dish are quite tasty and flavorful. Spice level to your liking. This visit, the larb. Always served with a wedge of cabbage. The flavor is alway great and every bite, flavorful. Of course the only place that I alway get the boat noodles. I've had it at other places but this is my favorite in Long Beach. The broth is great and thick with all the meat. Chinese broccoli accompanied as well. It's comfort food and alway hits the spots. This time we've tried another dish that we've never had. The chili garlic fish with rice. We were informed that it would take about 15 minutes which was fine. Deep fried sole fillets with garlic and chili sauce served on top a bed of mixed salad. First off, there was loads of fish and it was quite tasty and the sauce, it was good. A dish that was quite tasty and great for sharing. Overall, the food has alway been great and service has always been excellent. Each and every meal have always been enjoyed. It's our go to in Long Beach.

The lunch special provides generous portions, with plenty to bring back. What really stood out, was how conscientious, attentive, and polite both the waitress and host were to us. As we were leaving, my wife asked the host if there had been a change in ownership or chef recently...he seemed puzzled, saying it's been the same for the past many years (family owned and operated). L17. General Tso's Chicken ($12.75) L18. Shredded Pork with Garlic Sauce ($12.75) L25. Shrimp with Snow Peas ($13.75) All the lunch specials come with choice of soup (egg drop or sweet and sour), egg roll, and choice of carb (steamed rice, fried rice, noodle). Since we ordered three dishes, got to try all of the additions. I liked both the soups. The egg roll was served hot out of the fryer, but had the typical mushy 'La Choy' frozen egg roll filling that I dislike. The noodles were more like spaghetti noodles than lo mein. The fried rice was simple, with just egg added (which was fine). As for the main dishes, all the ingredients and sauces were solid. The seafood dish came in a white sauce which was OK, but had plenty of shrimp, water chestnuts, and peas. The chicken dish was good since it was served fresh, with the typical food service provider dark meat chicken chunks. The garlic sauce in the shredded pork was good, and something we would get again in other dishes. The pork was all loin and would be a good base for other dishes as well.
