I just moved to the area and hadn't had Chinese food in over a year. Every time I drove by this place, it was packed with cars, so I figured it must be good. I ordered chicken fingers and pork fried rice. The price was fair, and the rice was tasty, but the chicken fingers--or sweet and sour chicken--were awful. They tasted like they'd been soaking in oil for a week, not crispy at all, just soggy and gross. I ate them anyway since I hadn't had takeout for dinner in a while and was very hungy , but now I'm feeling sick, like I drank a whole bottle of cooking oil. Stopped in to place a take out order today and found the place to be very pleasant and more set up for takeout business. They do have a couple of tables and chairs if you choose to eat in. They do a pretty good takeout business at lunch time given the traffic that came and went while I was there. My order consisted of 3 large orders of chicken fingers, crunchy beef with snow peas (extra spicy), pork mei fun, and pork fried dumplings. While waiting I asked for hot and sour soup. The soup came out in a plastic take out container with a bag of noodles (nice touch) on a serving tray. Nice presentation. But the soup was so hot in temperature that it was near possible to enjoy it and really get the full flavor of it. As I couldn't wait for it to cool down I ate as much of it as I could. It contained slices of pork, mushrooms, small cubes of tofu and the usual things you'd expect to find in the soup. Next time I'll take it to go and by the time I arrive it may cool down enough to enjoy it completely. The large orders of chicken fingers contains about 13 or 14 pieces of chicken, enough to feed a couple of people. The pork dumplings were fried nicely with a good crust and a great flavor of ginger. Definitely a hit. The pork mei fun was okay but seemed to be lacking a lot of pork. Really not much flavor to it. The beef had large pieces of beef which was fairly tender but lacked snow peas. First time I've asked for beef with snow peas and found broccoli (out numbered the snow peas). Not quite what was expected or ordered. Spice level was okay but not what I'd call extra spicy. There was a small container of white rice included along with the usual fortune cookies. And did ask for extra duck sauce and was provided plenty of containers of that. Overall the food was good and there'll be additional visits to try other things on the menu. The chicken fingers were the hit of the show with the people I was with. Chin's is my family's measure for Chinese food. The chicken fingers are very big and perfectly cooked. I know it's Chinese food, but do not, not get the crinkle cut French fries. We also try new dishes every time we order and are never disappointed. Don't forget about the rice either, it's absolutely delicious! The hot and sour soup is also top notch. Got a pu-pu platter for two and some pork lo mein. Every thing was typical Chinese food . Chicken fingers, egg rolls, teriyaki, and bone in ribs . The flavorless lo mein was basically brown pasta without anything else besides a broken snow pea in the entire container. The egg roll was all cabbage, the French fries were black and my husband got food poisoning from their general tsos dinner. If I could give less than one star I would. Safe to say we will never be ordering food from this restaurant again. read more

If you love baby corn, this is the place for you. I don't love baby corn -- especially not limp baby corn. I was in Indian Orchard for work and left to hunt for somewhere to eat. Chin's was the first place that popped up when I asked my iPhone. Good enough. Ordered a Bean Curd Family Style and a Spring Roll at the counter, grabbed a bottle of water from the cooler, and sat down on a rickety bench seat with a ripped seat and waited. It took a while to get my food. I hoped that was a good sign. The brown sauce was kinda grey and thick -- like gravy. Some people really like that. I don't. The veggies were over-cooked and limp. Not so good. The spring roll was fat, fried, greasy, and generally delicious. The service was fantastic actually. Very surprising from this little hole in the wall where the dining room is used to store stock as well. The prices kinda sucked though. $12.01 for my meal? Really at at little joint like this? Anyway there are plenty of other (tofu) fish in the sea and I'll be finding another one next time. read more

Two stars is being generous because my fiancé likes their crab Rangoons. The last two times we've ordered from there, they've given me something completely different than what I ordered. This time my chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce (a spicy dish) inexplicably came out as Szechuan chicken and vegetables (a sweet and tangy dish). Their egg roll was flavorless and not completely cooked. I am not a fan of this place and will not be back. read more

The BBQ boneless ribs were good. Nice and crispy at the corners but soft where it should be. The place is clean with plenty of space to sit. They have a flat screen television that kept my son calm (thank GOD) the food was quick to come out. When we were done eating they cleaned up after us although it's a self service type of place. My parents has the chicken broccoli that was also good, surprisingly it had baby corn, mushroom and carrots in it. It was better than expected. They have a nice parking lot so never have to worry about finding parking. read more

Figured I'd give it a try after I kept hearing it reopened under new management. I ordered online--which I don't recommend. (Apparently the options given online to add additional appetizers to tour meal are not actually real). I got there--took 10 minutes to figure out why my order wasn't coming out of the kitchen. The guy came out and explained--I showed him on my phone how I made the order and he didn't seem to understand. I was bummed because adding tid-bits is like my favorite thing because I don't have to get an entire order of something. But I settled on general tso's, vegetable lo mein, and an egg roll. Got home--no egg roll--first bummer. Vegetable lo meon--cabbage, bamboo, and water chestnuts--I picked out the water chestnuts but I was sad about the lack of vegetables--overall it was just ok--given that it is basically just noodles. The chicken was pretty good though--I asked for spicey and it had a nice kick to it. Overall I'm not sure I'd go back--$11.50 for general tsos, lo mein, and a missing egg roll.....and now I know that they don't do the tid-bit add ons read more

The General Tao's Chicken is an excellent classic. Perfect combination of sweet and spicy. If you want a great curry flavor try the Singapore Chow Mei Fun, delicious! The service was quick and friendly. You will not be disappointed. I will return soon. read more

When they first reopened this place was much better. Now 9 months later, not so much. You can definitely tell they're trying to be extremely cheap when it comes to everything. ordered the combo meal and it came with one chicken wing. All in all the food isn't that bad, but it isn't that great here just average I wouldn't go out of my way for this one. read more

They're finally back. I love them. They have the BEST general tso's chicken ever! We live in Chicopee but I grew up in Ludlow and it's definitely the best comfort food in the world. Sadly, they aren't servicing shrimp yummies but they do have fried shrimp. I suggest their boneless spare ribs too. DELICIOUS! read more

I love this place. I have gone for years and when it closed I was devastated. I live in Chicopee and travel much longer just to buy their food! My husband and I go all the time. My faves are the Gen Tsos chicken, Wonton Soup, Boneless Ribs, Chicken fingers, my husband also loves the low mein, and steamed dumplings. Best Chinese food ever! read more

Sometimes these guys piss me off. I always get steamed chicken with broccoli, yet sometimes I get steamed chicken and steamed random vegetables. They never have brown rice and will not put sauce on the side for you. They will not explain why they don't, they just don't. Kind of sketchy. ordered food and waited about 45 minutes and called back they told me 20 and they said they were at my place twice...NO WAY...The driver said he was and I was sitting right outside the whole time waiting....The phone person argued with me I was not there...I believe the driver didn't know where I lived because she asked me if I was in Ludlow or springfield...THEN all they had to do was remake my food I would have been ok...well the driver was on another deliver and she said my food was in the car after the delievery HE WOULD BRING IT BACK TO ME...are you kidding...NEVER EVER AGAIN...IFshe didn't argue with me as if I was a liar I could have been ok and waited for a FRESH ORDER...never again...one lost customer... read more
