Amazing Korean Food!!! I dropped by here because I had an errand to run around here and I'm sooo glad I did. Everything was so delicious. I got the: -Korean Wings: crispy, flavorful juicy wings. I would definitely order this again. -Black Bean Noodles: I've had this at so many restaurants but this one takes the number one spot. The noodles were cooked so perfectly and they didn't skimp on the vegetables/pork in the sauce. Every bite was so enjoyable. I could order 2 of these for myself!! -Beef Bibimbap: I like how they give you the sauce to pour on by yourself. The beef was very tender and flavorful. -Banchan (side dishes) were yummy! I'm pretty sure the kimchi was made in house, it tasted so fresh and not extra salty like the prepackaged ones. The fish cakes and spicy cucumber were my second favorites. While visiting family my husband and I came to visit family and wanted some Korean BBQ and found this place. We when we walked in we were greeted by one of the nicest hostess we encountered in a while she sat us down and explained the menu which was very helpful. She recommended the passion fruit lemonade which was amazing. They do also offer Korean drinks and other beverages as well. Now to the food we order the pork fried rice, with spicy chicken bulgogi with beef Rib and some other meats and veggies. It came with six other sides as well. Everything was delicious since we cooked it ourselves and we had a wonderful time. I will definitely come back when I visit Massachusetts again. read more

Our party of 8 was given the same portion of sides as a solo diner, and told we'd be charged for extra after one refill. Very good Korean restaurant in a not so good location. Went with a group & most ordered lunch boxes. The beef & pork lunch boxes all received rave reviews. Mine was the dinner choice of short ribs as it's not offered for lunch. It tasted good but a bit on the sweet side. It's also missing the bones, making it less authentic compared to what I used to get from Korean town in Fort Lee New Jersey, plus the serving size was small. One of our favorite restaurants! Everything we have ordered here has been delicious. Really didn't know Korean cuisine before we came here, but it only took one meal to get completely hooked. My favorite is the stone bowl bibimbop and my husband's favorites are the bulgogi and a couple of the noodle dishes. We have also enjoyed the tabletop grill meals, especially when we come with friends. This is a comfortable place with warm and friendly staff who are happy to help you navigate the menu. read more

Making these takes a lot of eggs and they're easy to mess up! -matcha and original cheese tarts: I personally wasn't a fan of these because the tart was so so hard. Really delicious homemade Korean food in a simple setting. There are endless options for beverages and cuisine. We loved that they have separate vegetarian (and gluten-free) menus! Except we did not know until we asked. 5 star ratings for the fried vegetarian dumplings - thin & crispy. The spicy rice cake had an unexpected texture (for us) but was soaked in yummy gochujang sauce. It was a large appetizer so we plan to top the rest with fresh veggies for leftovers. The #1 dish was the Spicy Stirfried Noodles with Veggies (we added Tofu, highly recommend.) You can choose a spice rating from 0-5; after speaking with our very knowledgeable server we chose 3 which was just right. It was getting a pretty "meaty" smell toward the end as the table behind us was cooking up their BBQ, but we enjoyed Cana & are excited to try more Korean food. Don't bother with the salad & I would not get the Korean wine again, cold & just not for me. 4 stars as it took 25 minutes to get drinks (& the bathroom needs an overhaul.) Well well well! What a Gem... We were in from out of town and seen the reviews on this place and said "Hey lets go for it!" Problem was it was a few miles away and we didn't have our rent a car yet, so we Uber-ed it. At any rate, enough of the useless information. We had Kimchi Fried Rice ... Lots of flavors here as promised by Suyeon (Sue) the owner. Who happened to to be waiting on us. Very nice lady! We had the chicken wings ...they were awesome, definitely a different take on wings. We had the Edamame ... Good. We had the Pork Dumplings and Vegetable Dumplings. If you were going to have only one thing it would have to be the Vegetable Dumplings they were the best! We had the SPICY Chicken Bulgogi Offered with a spicy level from 1-5, I got it at 4 (I can handle spicy hot!) 4 would be the max for me!... Now the bad news, Uber had no cars to get us back to our hotel! But this food was so good and healthy and we didn't feel waited down ... and we ate a lot! A Real a lot! This place is pretty good. Happened upon them by accident on our way home from upstate NY. The food is legit and my wife spoke highly of the kimchi. I thought many of the options looked good though I opted for a simple bibimbap. The only thing that caught me was the high prices. For western MA I was to expecting to pay that much. In some cases there is not much that a resto can do these days to combat higher prices. But we stay home a lot more these days with kids as feeding a family at a restaurant seems extravagant these days. read more

This was my first time for table Korean BBQ and it blew me away the moment I started cooking it myself. The wait staff is super sweet and attentive with a button to call for service if needed. Absolutely wonderful experience. Exceptional service! Korean barbecues are popular in big cities, and I had no idea there was one local. The food was great. The table was a bit daunting. Luckily our server, Marisol (sp?) walked us through it patiently. She even offered to help us cook if we wanted. She was incredibly friendly, and helpful. So, no need to feel intimidated. A real hidden gem in an unassuming location. If you are not fussy about decor and location, and simply crave quality food with superb customer service, this is your place! Upon arrival, we were greeted immediately by the friendly host who also happened to be our waiter. He seated the five of us right away a a table with a BBQ grill. We chose the beef bulgogi to grill, japchae, and several appetizers. As with all Korean restaurants, the waiter brought out the one dozen small dishes first. But here is where things truly stood out - instead of just putting them on our table, the knowledgeable waiter explained to us what each of the dish was. Despite having had them multiple times before at various Korean restaurants, this was the first time someone actually named them all for me. I was pleasantly surprised by both the waiter's knowledge and his enthusiasm given that he is Caucasian. The beef bulgogi and japchae were delicious and flavorful. The beef cooked quickly on the grill, and to our liking. Came here for lunch. I've been searching for a Korean BBQ place for a while now. I know there is one in west Hartford. But wanted to try somewhere different. After reading some of the reviews I decided to give it a try. So my husband and I came to have some Korean BBQ. The menu is one of those scan types. But they did have a side menus that you order with your BBQ. You are able to choose 10 sides so that is what we did. We ordered for sides was the kimchi, daikon, onions, coleslaw, pickled radish and I can't really remember the rest. For our meal we got the BBQ for 2. Which was about 80.00 dollars. It came with one appetizer that you can choose from two types. We ordered the dumplings. One main dish. Which was the hot pot. And two meats items. We had chose the beef bulgogi and pork belly. The meal also came with two drinks so I chose a red wine and my husband got a Sam Adams October fest. We had also ordered an extra appetizer which was 6 wings and an order of shrimp fried rice. The meal so so delicious. The nice thing is that when they bring you out your meat they tell you which to cook first. Knowing me, I was just going to throw it all on the grill. So we followed her instructions by cooking the pork belly first then the bulgogi. It was so nice to be able to cook your meat to your liking. Like I said everything tasted really good. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the decorations were nice. The place was very clean. I was very impressed with this little place. I definitely suggest you give this place a try. About a year ago found this place ordered Kimchi Chigae which was fantastic! Now every time I go or call to order Kimchi Chigae (approximately 7 times in the last year!), they never have it but is always on the menu. Been given several excuses, most recently that they are closing next week. Forever? Who knows. What a shame. I have tried to order it early when it opens and later in the day to give them time to make it. Literally was only able to get it once. At this point, just take it off the menu. read more

The ambience of Cana was a little above average for an Asian restaurant. I would say that at dinner time it was almost quaint. We came before lunchtime and waited for a friend to arrive, and had some pretty clunky service. It seem to so they forgot about us entirely. Took way too long for food.
