Tobiko offers deck dining. It's basically take out as there is no wait service on the deck. Order through your bartender and you're good to go.

Big menu, medium taste. We went to Tobiko Sushi when the food truck was MIA at the brewery up the street. A big fan of all types of Japanese foods, I was a bit disappointed in flavor. The yellowfin sashimi I ordered was a bit rubbery, and perhaps that is why this particular (and usually popular) fish wasn't featured in more rolls. The veggie choice was nice, but the dark hibachi noodles are deceiving. More color does not mean more flavor. Even the soy sauce was "is it there" in flavor. (For reference, K's here in town knows hibachi flavor. )I would say that there was good service, and if I were looking for a fill-in for dinner, I might try a roll next time, which my partner did like, and he really liked the kimchi. If only the basics brought it to the table, this would be a great place to "hang" (flight hangar pun).

Tokbiko might be my favorite restaurant in Westfield, MA. It's not in the center of town but hidden inside Barnes Airport but it's well worth the drive once you see the view and taste the food. The wait staff is so nice and accommodating, if you sit at the bar the bar tenders are so funny and attentive. In the summer you can enjoy outdoor seating on the roof top. My go-to favorite is the Hot and Spicy Ramen! I usually swap the pork for chicken and add an extra soy egg (the hard boiled one!) and am in heaven. I can never finish my ramen in one sitting but would still recommend eating your first pass over the bowl at the restaurant. Ordering to go and eating at home is still tasty but doesn't hit the spot when it's all prepared together at the same time.

The atmosphere was comfortable it was absolutely amazing. Food was clean. Everything was fresh. The taste was exquisite. Highly recommend you pay them a visit. The selection is awesome. The staff is great

We stopped here on the way back from a road trip. It's in a regional airport, so you get to see planes taking off from the deck. The food is good, prices reasonable and service was great!

This place has my heart! Hands down one of the best Ramen's I have had around Massachussetts. The service? Even better. Our waitress was so lovely and attentive and made sure all of our questions from the menu were answered and she was always making sure we had everything we needed. Parking is available in the premises! The entrance is shared with the airport entrance and honestly, I wish Tobiko was at all the airports!! The food was delicious and you can oversee the airplanes from the window. I tried the Spicy Kimchi Ramen and it was amazing, their bibimbap, a must try as well!! Everything was cooked to perfection. Their red sangria was so good too!! I heard in the summer you can go to their rooftop and that it is amazing!! I cannot wait to be back

A little restaurant tucked into a little airport. Good view of the runway and smaller airplanes. I came to see what the buzz was all about. It was good but not great. Maybe I'll try the ramen next time.

Can't say I've ever had this sort of rectangular tuna slice. Just weird

I can't recommend it. Ordered the sushi appetizer which was uninspiring in presentation and flavor. Bland and I'll cut fish, no finesse at all. Just hunks of fish. The rice was tasteless and the size of a pretzel nugget. The fish was way out of proportion to the fish making it very difficult to enjoy. This place makes sushi an option but honestly they are doing a better job at the supermarket these days. Not a viable option if you know decent sushi. Look for an alternative.

Nice spot for lunch, we try the ramen with shrimp tempura roll and bulgogi rice bowl. Love the ramen soup and the sushi roll is very fresh except the bulgogi rice bowl the rice is bit undercooked.

Tokyo ramen. Boiled egg and fried egg? Yea they saw me coming.

When we walked in, there wasn't anyone at the front, just a counter and a small table with T-shirts for sale. The kitchen is in the back, and the dining area is off to the left. A friendly waitress came out right away and told us to sit wherever we'd like. The dining room is small, but cozy; about 10 tables. There's also bar-style seating at sushi counter with about 5 chairs. Two sushi chefs were working and chatting with customers. Everyone was super nice, and the vibe was great; hip-hop, R&B, and reggaeton playing in the background. Right up my alley lol. Our waitress was very sweet, attentive, and gave us great recommendations. I ordered the Caribbean roll, and it was phenomenal! Definitely one of the best sushi rolls I've ever had. It had a sweet plantain on top and was packed with flavor. I also got a vegetable roll, which was just okay. The place had a chill mix of customers: a family, & some older couples. Overall, great service, good music, and amazing specialty rolls. It's also BYOB (wine and beer only) which is nice. I'll definitely be back to try the ramen next time!

Take note of date stamps on the photos here in Yelp. The sushi, sashimi, omakase from 4 yrs ago looks GOOD. (I'm assuming that's where the high rating came from.) That is not what is being served currently at BarKaya.] If your neighborhood dive bar (I LOVE a neighborhood dive bar!! Bar. ) with amazing vibes, got a super cool, gorgeous resin bar and really nice upholstered furniture with beautiful colors and big, fabulous, flat screen TVs showing amazing Japanese food shows and served the worst sushi you have ever had. That's BarKaya. No. Really. I kinda wanted to award a third star for general vibe and the fact that I met and talked to some super cool people during my visit. Call it "star inflation." But! BarKaya is, after all, putting itself forth as a restaurant and at restaurants we eat food and BarKaya deserves zero stars for food. I'm pretty sure the sushi here was the worst sushi I have ever eaten in my life. (And I've eaten supermarket sushi in at least 4 states...including VERMONT!! My Friends ...supermarket sushi is the absolute bottom of the Sushi Barrel...so keep that in mind as you read this review.). As in I am worried about having put fish that was clearly dyed/colored/God only knows what, into my body. As in when I ate the first piece of California Roll (CALIFORNIA ROLL!!) I got a whiff of something having gone "off".... As in the "torched fatty tuna belly" was completely unrecognizable as fish (please see attached photos...Yikes!). Y'all. When they put my pieces of sushi in front of me I had to make the conscious decision to eat that mess. As in I took one for the team because I was going to write a review, so I figured I needed to eat it and I also thought I probably wouldn't die (although I did think there was a strong possibility I would be sick after...and yes, this stuff did not "agree with me"...). These people need to be STOPPED from serving "sushi." It is an actual crime (and a travesty). Just. Terrible. On every level. Including the rice, which was not actually sushi rice (FYI: sushi rice is not just the rice, it is the process). I could go on. But should I? They've got this entire, beautiful bar set up. Including a glass topped sushi bar. Lovely. My suggestion is to stop serving any sort of fish. Immediately. Or...stick solely to deep fried seafood for your so-called "sushi." Tempura it all and then turn it into sushi. But please, for the love of all that is holy: NO MORE RAW FISH. They also make Ramen. I did not have Ramen. Perhaps the Ramen is edible. I have my doubts. But! Should I return (for vibes and chit chat - never underestimate those things!!) I will be trying Ramen. What I had: Cucumber Salad. Which was the best thing I ate. And, since I ate it first, it led to me to have falsely inflated expectations. It was fine. Neither flavorful nor spicy. Seaweed Salad. Just a big bowl of premade/bought Seaweed Salad. You too can buy it at the grocery store. Shrug. Miso Soup. Very large bowl. Which is nice. Not good Miso. They're not using a base (like Dashi or fish stock) and they're using too much Miso (how do I know? I've made Miso myself and done the same darn thing at home...many times). An assortment of terrible, awful, barely edible pieces of sushi: Ikura, Tobiko, Salmon Belly, Torched Fatty Tuna (that looked exactly like some sort of really inexpensive cut of beef that was then overcooked). A California Roll. Because who screws up a California Roll?? BarKaya. That's who... And an Unagi Roll. Because, again, it is nearly impossible to mess up Eel. BarKaya proves it's not entirely impossible. Because even the Eel Sauce was not good. I mean you can just BUY Eel Sauce and get some delicious stuff. These people need to be stopped. I drank their one Sake. It was fine. It probably saved my life. Always drink plenty of alcohol when you are also eating questionable/sketchy things that could potentially kill you. My theory is the alcohol will fight the toxins!! Mr Business Manager who replied below in a particularly unhinged fashion (he appears to have retracted the vast majority of his tirade - just as well, it was borderline "restraining order" stuff. YIKES!): Sir. Please take a few moments to glance at the other sushi spots I have reviewed. I know whereof I speak. Pro Tip: RESIST the urge to attack reviews online. It's a bad look. As is the sushi your establishment serves. I spent well over $100 at BarKaya. Because I tried as many things possible before drawing any conclusions Try Harder. Do. Better. You've set the bar incredibly low. Shouldn't be difficult...

"Right before my very eyes Baby what a big surprise"…read more(Chicago) When was the last time, you were enjoying a gorgeous looking dish of Vegetable Tempura and realized OMG, I just chomped down on something crazy spicy? Well, that's what happens when you bite into an unadvertised half of a jalapeno pepper when the menu promises sweet potato, onion, and broccoli. Now look, as the late Sly Stone sang, "Different strokes for different folks", meaning that we all have different tolerances for spiciness. I was OK with that blazing piece of green, that for all purposes looked like a slice of Bell Pepper, but it set off fire alarms for my wife, who flat out couldn't eat it. Putting all that aside, we had a very enjoyable dinner. We got a lucky parking spot in a small lot right across the street and were seated without a reservation, which was also kind of lucky because Kisara doesn't have a lot of seating - I counted 8 tables (some for 4 and a few for 2) and nine seats at the bar. Our dinner ran a shade under $42 with tax for a 12-ounce bottle of Sapporo beer, the aforementioned Vegetable Tempura appetizer ($10), an Octopus Sushi appetizer (three pieces for $5.75, and two nice salads - an Avocado Salad ($7.25) and Teriyaki Chicken ($11.50). As you can see, Kisara's pricing is pretty good. The Tempura (save for the unexpected and unadvertised jalapeno halves) was very good - a generous serving of hot, crispy and oil free sweet potato planks, broccoli florets, and onion rings. My octopus sushi was pretty good. The pieces were large and presented beautifully. Maybe a minor quibble would be the chewiness factor of the octopus. The salads were very pretty - an attractive presentation of mixed greens, lettuce, cucumbers, shredded carrots, and a ginger dressing. My wife's salad had seven avocado slices and mine had ten chunks of teriyaki sauce glazed chicken chunks. Maybe another minor quibble would be the chewiness of the chicken, they were definitely overcooked. Positives Their menu is fantastic. Service was fine and included a few check-backs which are always appreciated Negatives There is no public WIFI - when I saw a Kisara network pop up, I asked for the password and was told "that's only for the manager". They don't really have a website, but you can somewhat see one via an ordering platform off their Facebook page. Conclusion For walking in off the street without a reservation, overall, we had a very nice dinner.
