Atmosphere and lighting is really nice. The service was attentive and respectful. The food was really good. House salad and fruit dessert seemed to be complimentary which was nice. A beginning and end. The Szechuan dumplings were my favorite part. Very unique from other places. Good quality dumplings in a hot sweet & spicy sauce. The large spoon was nice because it felt almost like soup dumplings. I got the L12 lunch combo for my meal. The pork fried rice was flavorful and light. It had aromatics and not too heavy with oil like some places are. The General Tso chicken was really great. Light breading and quality meat. It didn't have a crunch to it, but that also meant it wasn't overly breaded and fried. Sometimes that make a dish feel too heavy and gross after. Overall, fair prices for quality food. My grandparents wanted to take me out for dinner so I chose here because I'm tired of the same five restaurants they like to eat at. I live nearby and drive by the plaza often and always see cars in the parking lot. Place was busy and there were two large parties as well. Took all three of us a while to figure out what we wanted to eat. We went with the table share method which worked out well. I ended up getting the crispy lemon chicken which I enjoyed, only kicker was the rest of the food came out first and after a couple minutes of it not coming out I asked about it and the response I got was it takes longer to prepare. When it came out they were apologetic multiple times over but was no bother at all, was hustling surprised it all didn't come out at once. We had another great take-out from Li's this weekend. This is our go-to place for Chinese in the area and I've never had a bad experience. This time we went for vegetarian curried duck, mushu vegetable, the Hunan Chicken lunch special (selected fried rice with chicken and soup as the options) and the cold sesame noodles. The mushu (moo shu) is one of out favorites so we get it every time - always good. The "duck" was also excellent. Li's is unusual in the area in offering several different vegetarian "meats" as well as tofu. These are listed with particular dishes, but on request they have also substituted these into other dishes for us. Other favorites we didn't get this time but I recommend are the Exotic and Singapore noodles. They also usually add some extras, this time fortune cookies and pineapple. I loved it when they added peanuts as a side but am guessing they are hesitant due to allergies when you order online. read more

We found this place through word of mouth. The first time we ate, we ate IN their dining room. The food was hot and fresh - we really liked it. Every other time has been take out. We've had little things wrong here and there, like no pork - and they put the pork in anyway. and we waited nearly an hour for our dinner on New Year's eve, despite calling right when they opened and showing up right when they told us to. (VERY early pickup, too. 430 I think) Also, that night, They also gave us NO fortunate cookies and the other cost us like, $120, so that was a little disappointing. I do think they have fresh and tasty food when they're on their game, but I'd suggest eating in their dining room. Take out has been confusing and wrong more than once or twice, and that can be frustrating. But they have the best chicken fingers around, honestly. Just eat in. read more

So i want to start off by saying that i have enjoyed the food at Li brothers for years and have had no major issues or complaints. Unfortunately for my order tonight that is not the case. All of my food looks delicious and perfect but they also included a container of pineapple pieces and when I opened it one of the pieces was covered in mold. I called Li Brothers to let them know but the person that answered to phone seemed dismissive and I feel like the warning wasn't taken seriously. I also see that they have some recent reviews that mention food poisoning so i hope that they take this seriously and start taking food safety seriously. read more

Love at First Bite, to be sure! But even before that, the peaceful ambiance and pleasant background music jumped out at me and my friend --as did the welcoming politeness of the wait staff. I ordered the Pad Thai with a side of broccoli, but the chef offered to just add some broccoli instead. The avocado salad was as crisp and fresh as could be. I had a Shrimp Spring Roll that was very nice. We asked if the new dessert we had heard about was available, and it turned out to be a Coconut Pineapple Panna Cotta. I'm not sure why I haven't written a review sooner because I'm an avid Li Brother's customer. My boyfriend lives near this place and we tend to get takeout a lot here because we are always craving sushi. Our go-to is the lunch or dinner 3 roll maki combination. For around $11-15 (depending if you get it at lunch or dinner) you get pretty decent quality sushi. I like how the sushi is made with care and isn't overloaded with just rice. We also like to get the honey walnut shrimp and peking ravioli. The honey walnut shrimp is delicious. It has just the right amount of sweetness mixed with a crispy batter. The only downfall is that the sauce is too liquid-y and settles at the bottom so if you don't eat it right after ordering then the crispy shrimp gets soggy. Next, the peking ravioli is massive and the filling is juicy and meaty. Recently they have added milk teas to their menu. I tried the taro milk tea which reminds me of ChaTime's taro milk tea (which I love), but the boba is different than what I am used to. It's not as soft and chewy. However, I still enjoyed it. Overall, I do love this place and every other item I have ordered (lobster sauce over rice, udon, beef and broccoli, and sesame chicken) have met my expectations! ANYWAYS, my usual go to restaurant nearby is closed (temporarily I think) so we figured we would try Li Brothers. I wish we had tried them sooner. I think the food is WAY better. The Meat Dumplings are ENORMOUS. They're like twice the size of other dumplings. The Vegetarian Chicken (veggie option!) was apparently really delicious according to my wife! I hate to post a bad review especially during this pandemic but I honestly have never had to throw out food because it was so bad. It was just such a hugely disappointing meal, quite possibly the worst ever. The only good thing was easy online ordering and prompt, friendly delivery...but I won't be needing those again. The Chinese dishes (orange chicken, fried vegetable dumplings, and schezuan style bean curd) were literally the worst Chinese takeout I have ever had in my life, which is really stunning. Chinese American food is just a bunch of frying and drenching things in brown sauces so it would almost take effort to mess it up! Alas, this place did it: soggy, soft, over breaded chicken swimming in an overly sweet one note sugar sauce so thick it seemed someone just poured in the cornstarch. Similarly soggy tasteless dough filled with a tiny amount of cabbage and carrot that was supposed to be the fried dumplings. Utterly bland goopy tofu in frozen vegetables in a syrupy sauce that tasted like tap water and had zero flavor. I specified multiple allergies for a sweet potato roll order and requested it be packaged separately. It was definitely packaged separately and labeled, but then I opened and saw that the sweet potato was battered and deep fried, and then a sauce had been drizzled over top- things which clearly contained at least my kid's allergens of wheat and soy that I had clearly specified. I wish someone had called to clarify what this dish entailed and instead we threw it away because my kid could not eat it. I ended up cooking for my kid- when I had been looking forward to NOT cooking and hence ordered this takeout! My husband ordered a yellowtail poke bowl which advertised mango and instead was given canned pineapple and cabbage on a bowl half filled with the same sticky gloopy rice. The California roll was mostly rice and cucumber with a smear of avocado and almost no (imitation) crabmeat, def no roe. The sushi rice was gummy and tasteless. I have ordered takeout from here a handful of times but never have my husband and I agreed that frozen food and airplane food would have been superior. It almost seemed as if there was no real chef who prepared the meal but rather a complete novice- did something happen at this restaurant? Is there a change in the kitchen? It was a Saturday night so if there were any day the food should have been on point, it should have been this might. read more

This restaurant is close by and I believe it has some of the best sushi in the area. I have always felt their sushi quality was a notch higher because of the demographic and the competition in the surrounding towns. It seems of late their Chinese food quality has improved as well, perhaps because of some serious competition from across the street. 'Twas a cold, snowy night in Western Massachusetts. We came running in because of the snippy wind and was a little disappointed by the hostesses. It seemed like a family run restaurant because there were a few teenagers at the front register, none of whom greeted us when we came in. We waited a few minutes until one of the extremely busy waiters came up to seat us. Once seated, there were 2 people who waited on us. Both of them were very friendly and did their best to keep the restaurant running smoothly, with no help from the front hostesses. We ordered the pan fried dumplings, spicy tuna roll, phoenix roll, and yellow curry. The dumplings were huge, but there was too much flour and not enough meat in it. The spicy tuna and phoenix rolls were pretty mediocre, not bad but not special. The yellow curry was probably my favorite dish but you can't really go wrong with curry. They do have a vast selection of dishes to choose from, which would accommodate different food preferences. This is a place I'd stop by if I were in the area and was starving, but not someplace I'd go out of my way to eat at. read more

I recently enjoyed takeout from this fine establishment. I didn't know what to expect since I've been unimpressed in the past by some other local Chinese takeout restaurants. The food exceeded my expectations and I will surely return. I was courteously and promptly greeted when I called in my order, and was given an estimated wait of 10 minutes. It took me about 15 minutes to get there and my order was ready (Mongolian Beef w/ white rice, and an egg roll). When I returned home the food was piping hot and also delicious. I was so happy to be served a cup of homemade duck sauce, too. Now that I have been and know how they operate, I'll definitely plan a return visit and try something more adventurous. read more
