Went there 09/19/2026 with my son for the first time. The food was excellent nice and hot and worth the price. The service was great. We were ordered right away.. if we're back in Springfield again, we will definitely go there. read more

This is my top spot for chicken fingers, General Tso and pork fried rice. I figured I would add that to my other reviews read more

I live close to Main Garden and it's always my go to spot for Chinese food for the last 5 years. They pack the boxes full so you get what you pay for. I usually go for the lunch or dinner combo boxes to get more for your money. I haven't pictured everything I've gotten here but anything I have ordered has always tasted and looked fresh and never waited longer than 20 minutes to pick up my order. For my college graduation party last year, we ordered over $100 worth of food and we didn't call ahead. We waited less than 45 minutes. Everyone at my party said how good and fresh the food was and asked where we had ordered it from. read more

Besides the lady telling my bf he couldn't pick up our food order ( I was standing next to him) and the burnt chicken fingers, everything was good!! Love how clean the place looked too!! Which was a wicked plus in my eyes! read more

Usually our go to for Chinese but lately the quality has gone down ( more rice than entree) as the prices have skyrocketed.

This place is a take out only place for us, it does have indoor seating but it's not super inviting. The food is always on point, no MSG and I don't think I've ever had a dish that wasn't great. Not super greasy, not dry, and the sauces are good. The house fried rice is a standard, as are chicken "fingers", the lo-mein, spring rolls and pu-pu platter are all better than most surrounding restaurants. Can recommend-it's usually a very quick turnaround from order to pick up, but those times have slowed slightly since Covid changed everything. It can be anywhere from 10-40 minutes for the same order depending on time and day. Solid choice for Chinese food in WMass. read more

They took our money. They said it would be 10 minutes. Wait like 20 minutes. They confirmed our order but the lady never gave it to the kitchen. owner seems angry to give us back our money. I told her "it did not matter anyway since the charge would be cancelled in 5 minutes." Got our money back and never went back! read more

15 years been eating here since in Southwick. Never have we had COLDER food ! Lucky we have air fryer to heat up our takeout. Called 1 hr ahead & asked to have it ready at certain time. Live less than 15mins away & it feels like it's been sitting in bag for over half hour. $80 !! Person answering phone said "sorry sir " ! Well guess that makes it all better?! read more

From what I have heard, this was once New Main Moon in Southwick. We love the food. The crab rangoons are made in the store right in front of you. No pre-made frozen stuff. General Tso's chicken is amazing. Highly recommend. read more

Good food and plenty of it never had a bad me eal from them love their all day specials you get your money's worth

Found this restaurant by accident as I was picking up my wife from the hair salon located next door. The staff is very friendly and the food is the best Chinese I've had in a long time. We will certainly go back! read more

My third time there another excellent sesame chicken and egg rolls and boneless pork great service especially around dinner time very consistent! read more

I love that they don't use MSG. Always a consistently good meal with big portions and friendly service. There are a few tables but definitely a takeout place. They are almost always busy so sometimes you may need to call a couple times to get through, but worth it. read more

Food was good and prepared on time Service was efficient and friendly I would recommend for Chinese takeout

Food was fresh, tasty and large portions. Excellent for take out and the shrimp and lobster sauce was outstanding

This spot over in Feeding Hills I didn't even know of until a few weeks ago but today I've been in and here are some bits you may want to know. One this is a dine in/take out so no delivery. Food though if you wonder what part of China is Canton East province which is a little bit from Hong Kong but the food isn't bad & also neither is the tea. Had a mixed dish with beef, children, shrimp & veggies & also another one but a pork variant. Had some heat but just wished a slight touch more in the heat department. Oh yes there will be photos. read more

Delicious food. Clean place. Great service every time. Best Chinese restaurant in this part of town.

This was my first time here. The staff was super friendly eventhough they were fairly busy with takeout orders. All of the food was hot. I ordered fried dumplings which were delicious, crab rangoons were okay, broccoli with garlic sauce was okay, very sweet which I wasn't expecting. read more

Tried the veggie pad Thai recently for the first time, and I don't know what the sauce was made of, but it was not pad Thai sauce. It tasted more like barbecue. read more

Loved their food! Great flavors, worth the price and wait. Haven't had this good of Chinese in a looooong time!

Called the day before to place an order for NYE. When I called I asked if this was ok assuming they would be slammed, no problem. They misplaced the order as it was crumpled up next to the cash register. Had a 2 hour wait. They were so disorganized and the food was cold and not so appetizing. My husband watched them cook it. Always our go to, unfortunately will have to find a new go to! read more

There is no shortage of chinese style restaurants in our area, but Main Garden stands out as one of the best in town. The food is always fresh and delicious. They have many vegetarian options as well, more than the average Chinese restaurant. Try the sesame tofu or the ten delight vegetables. If meat and seafood is more your thing I would recommend the Hong Sue Gai or Butterfly Shrimp. read more

Was super excited to hear about Main Garden! My boyfriend grew up eating New Main Moon and we were eager to try Main Garden. We were not disappointed. We both really loved the beef teriyaki, which we were given by accident (ordered all day special E with general tso's but received golden fingers, teriyaki and boneless spare ribs), but no big deal it was delicious anyway and we'll definitely be back. Update: I've changed my four stars to five. I go to Main Garden once a month or so and it's delicious every time. Friendly staff. read more

Excellent food that's always fresh, I've ordered takeout 3-4 times now and each time it was excellent my new go to Chinese restaurant

The food and service were great! I followed Main Garden from their days in Southwick, MA. I am happy to drive the extra miles to get the best Chinese food in this area. The restaurant seems to be very clean from where I stand while waiting for my takeout order. The food is always fresh and they are accommodating when I ask for a substitution. Yes, there is a charge for the substitution, but it's worth it. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I thought I liked this place until today. I ordered a lg wonton soup, lg fried rice, lg crab rangoons, and a small sweet & sour chicken. I received a small rice, lg wonton soup, lg rangoons, & lg chicken fingers. I called to let the gentleman know he screwed up, and he really disputed my order with me & assured me this is what i ordered 0 stars for today's service. read more

Some of the best chicken Lo mein on the planet. And I would know, they call me Hong Kong mike! Hahahahha yummy yum yum

Saw this place has five stars from my fellow Yelpers and we decided to give it a go because we've been disappointed lately with every Chinese place in Westfield. Plenty of parking, was easy to find, easy in and easy out. I had the generals chicken, the missus had the beef and broccoli and her kid had chicken and mushrooms and we all had the won ton soup. Everything was delicious, my chicken was crispy and fresh, her beef couldn't have been any more tender, I could've eaten it with my eyelids and the kids chicken was just as tender. The soup was ok, could've used some salt and pepper. There isn't much room to sit and everything gets served in to-go Styrofoam containers which I guess is pretty handy as the portion sizes are ample. The people behind the counter were friendly and courteous. Definitely will be returning. read more

Tina Turner once said, "Simply, the best. Better than all the rest." I can only assume she was referring to Main Garden and it's delicious food. From their egg roll to the chicken fingers to the wings to the fried rice, its ALL good. It's just do good. I live in Springfield and drive past 22 different Chinese restaurants to get here. Worth every mile. Xoxoxo read more

Delicious! Bostonians who finally found the best Chinese in the area. Everything is fresh and hot and perfect. Finally!!!! Thank you!!

The best Chinese food in this area hands down! Not a date night kind of place but amazing food with very large portions. Tastes fresh and amazing! I never do reviews but I had to with this business. My take out food go-to read more

This is a really decent Chinese restaurant right in the center of Feeding Hills. We are pretty picky when it comes to our general tso's and theirs is excellent. Only downside is there is no delivery but we live close so its worth the trip read more

We've tried Main Garden twice and both times I was not thrilled. I prefer my Chinese a certain way so this is very preference based- to each their own. The BBQ spare ribs are larger than your normal Chinese restaurant cuts them. They are hard and tough to eat. The teriyaki beef on a stick is extremely chewy to where you can't get a bite off. Ultimately, tough and chewy is what I'd refer to the meat I've tried. The quality just doesn't seem to match the price. read more

Food is amazing. However today they told us "20 minutes" and now it has been an hour and we still don't have our food and the placed is packed with people who have been waiting. And I hear them still saying "20 minutes" to new orders that they are taking on the phone. read more

Have been a loyal customer since their New Main Moon days, and followed them when I heard they moved. Great people - such a lovely family, so sweet and always kind. And of course - stellar food too, constantly improving to satisfy the bellies of their customers. They never disappoint! Always hits the spot when I'm hungering for some good ole comfort food. Highly recommend. read more

This is the best Chinese food! The fried dumplings were crisp, the orange chicken was flavorful and not soggy like other Chinese restaurants, and the teriyaki was very good. I'm so happy to have finally found a high-quality Chinese restaurant read more

Like most other types of food that may be a dime-a-dozen in big cities, *good* Chinese is pretty hard to find in the lower Pioneer Valley. The original Main Moon was a hometown favorite of mine. Among friends it had a cult-like following for a million different reasons. The chicken fingers. The best teryaki within a 30-mile radius. General Tso's. The D-20 with extra pork fried rice. The old video store next door. Heck, the phone number and the smell of ordering take-out that stayed on your clothes for a full day afterward. Nostalgia be damned, it would turn out that the original Main Moon would eventually become the measuring stick for all Chinese food restaunants, period. After a disappointing trip to the original (now under new ownership), having the new location open up just a few miles away was a relief - and well worth the 25-30 minute drive. The menu is the same. The food is the same. The phone number is (almost) the same. The smell is the same. And I think I speak for many when I say that's how it should be. The only difference? The interior is a bit nicer. But for all the delicious meals they've served up for decades to people who may not fully appreciate the sheer quality and consistency they're getting - it's well-deserved. read more
