We are staying at a friend's house nearby he chooses his Chinese food by the close proximity to his house. Thus this is how this restaurant was chosen. We ordered by phone the following. Crab Rangoon,Pan Fried Dumplings,Chicken Fingers, Shrimp in Garlic Sauce and Roast Pork Lo Mein. I decided to pick it up as I needed to go to the Liquor store anyway that was nearby. By the time I arrived at this restaurant the food was ready at the front there was no one else in the entire place. So they immediately knew the very large bag was for me. I paid prices were comparable to where I live. Also delivery orders over $15. are no charge. Once I got the food I found the food overall to be average does not blow me away. The extra something that usually does this is special sauces that would compliment the dumplings and appetizers. The crab rangoon could have used more filling. The roast pork lo mein was the best of everything ordered but was missing that special something that would set it apart. read more

We ordered our food and informed our server that there was a peanut allergy in our party. Once we started to eat, a member of our party ended up having an allergic reaction to something (peanuts). Upon calling, the person who answered the phone insisted "it's okay, there's only a little bit of peanut butter on the egg rolls" and another person insisted the peanut allergy was only relevant to the chicken and broccoli. I would give the place more stars since after a long battle (with many hangups) we were refunded, however the chicken and broccoli was not served in plastic, but in plastic wrap that leaked all over the car. We have been a loyal customer for over 20 years. Ordered food early enough today to avoid the long wait time that most restaurants have on New Years Eve. Wasn't given the chicken lo mein I ordered. Called to let them know , the lady put me on hold ( I could still hear everything she was doing) for an extended period of time. My family were regulars and enjoyed the meals quite often. They do have some consistency issues; sometimes you get a great meal and others its edible but only enjoyable because you didn't have to cook. Their General Tso's is more Hawaiian Style, which is disappointing. Unfortunately, their customer service is severely lacking. One driver smoked while delivering the food and asked if I had any cigarettes he could have. The last time, the meal was supposed to be delivered in 45 minutes but actually delivered an hour an a half later. The food was cold and had to be microwaved. I called about it after we ate and they said they would come and pick it up and refund my money. I said that we had already ate the food and they offered %50 discount but if I wanted to speak with the manager I might only get a %10 percent discount since we ate the food. A few minutes later, the delivery driver called accusing us of stealing food since we didn't want to pay for it. He actually said "Why would you take the food if you had no intention of paying for it?" We will not be returning. read more

It came soggy, undercooked, room temperature, with no spice or heat at all. It was also RED. Chicken Wings were flavorless and overcooked. Spare ribs were burnt and charred. Stopped for lunch today and my wife and I ordered the Hot and Sour soup, two egg rolls and a small Pork Lo Mein. The soup was the very best I ever had, and I must say helped my head cold I am suffering through. Hours later I still feel great and regret I didn't get a "to go" order of this. Ordered delivery here tonight because we were too tired to cook. Our only bone to pick with what we ordered was the chicken fingers- they were a little under done and soggy. That being said, we also had pork fried rice, beef sticks, crab rangoons, and pork lo mein. Rangoons were great, though I do prefer them with chives! Pork fried rice is delicious, as is the lo mein. Not greasy, and you can tell vegetables used are fresh. Great amount of food for the price and we were pleasantly pleased with the quality. The food is good.. The service is not so good. Every time I call I am put on hold for longer than 5 minutes. I eventually hang up and just move on. This time I called was asked to hold for 3-5 minutes so I decided to call back. I call about 10 minutes later and get to order!! We have been ordering from this establishment for many years, but it has been getting progressively worse. We gave it one last try on New Year's Day and it was a horrible waste of $30. First, we picked up the order (after a 30-minute wait) and got it home to find that part of the order was missing. We called them and my husband drove back to the restaurant to get the rest of it (I thought they should have delivered it for free but they didn't seem to care at all that they shorted us a dish we had paid for). The food itself was inedible. We ordered cashew chicken and kung po chicken both of which had almost no chicken just a bunch of celery. The chicken that was included was so hard that we couldn't eat it. The rice was not sticky but dry and hard. The vegetable lo mein was the only edible dish but was tasteless. It all tasted like it was last night's dinner that had been reheated. I called and complained and the very rude woman on the phone said she has never heard a complaint about their food before. She suggested I drive back yet again to replace the food. We decided not to do that since we had already made two trips over there. We are very disappointed with the deteriorating quality of Panda House and won't be visiting again as it was the worst Chinese I have ever eaten. read more

I have eaten at the restaurant a few times but the restaurant is very open to the bar, keno, and lottery stations that I don't enjoy the atmosphere. Sadly Panda house I must give a shaky three stars though, even with your more than generous portions and great taste I can't get over the state of your restaurant. Dust on everything, even the salt and pepper shakers, dirty booths, dirty floor, peeling wallpaper, paper towels and toilet paper stored right on the floor for all your customers to stare at while they eat, not to mention a grimy empty fish tank. The condition of your dining room makes me question the condition of your kitchen which in turn makes me sadly question the true quality of your food. Seriously take a few hundred dollars and clean the place up, some fresh paint, new carpet, brighter light bulbs, a gold fish or two and a duster would make eating in a way more pleasant experience. read more
