We are staying at a friend's house nearby he chooses his Chinese food by the close proximity to his house. Thus this is how this restaurant was chosen. We ordered by phone the following. Crab Rangoon,Pan Fried Dumplings,Chicken Fingers, Shrimp in Garlic Sauce and Roast Pork Lo Mein. I decided to pick it up as I needed to go to the Liquor store anyway that was nearby. By the time I arrived at this restaurant the food was ready at the front there was no one else in the entire place. So they immediately knew the very large bag was for me. I paid prices were comparable to where I live. Also delivery orders over $15. are no charge. Once I got the food I found the food overall to be average does not blow me away. The extra something that usually does this is special sauces that would compliment the dumplings and appetizers. The crab rangoon could have used more filling. The roast pork lo mein was the best of everything ordered but was missing that special something that would set it apart.

I didn't expect much when I ordered some take-out for my daughter & myself. My instinct was way off. We ordered two dinner specials....and our customary small order of crab rangoon for the ride home...or in this case back to the hotel we were staying at. THE BEST RANGOON I HAVE EVER HAD! I eat a lot of Chinese food....i mean a lot of Chinese....and these were fantastic. Summary: Chicken Wings - mild flavor....not crispy....which I like Boneless Ribs - very nice...slight char...which I like Pork Fr. Rice - very good....not great but good Egg Roll - good...not great but good Hunan Pork - fantastic Unassuming strip mall setting....don't be fooled....great food inside.

The chicken fingers are OK, the duck sauce comes in a cup (not plastic), lo mein is better than most places.

I am always craving this place. They have noodle dishes and the wonton is delicious. The workers…read moreare super nice and helpful and were able to accommodate for 10 people last minute. It has a traditional looking interior with wooden plaques around. I would have to recommend getting wontons no matter what dish you get, the sauce is so good and we were picking at the peanuts. I got my favorite Hot n Spicy noodles, this was a little more sour than I remembered so if you don't like sour soups I wouldn't recommend. The Dan Dan Noodles were great although could use a little more sauce. The cucumber dish was good, a little small but was refreshing to eat.

Half the restaurant seats (the right side) were empty. I was given a small table near the entrance and I asked for a larger table, since I planned on ordering quite a few dishes to try. The maître d' said "No", that they reserve those seats for four people. I completely understand if the restaurant was busy or expecting more people. I said, no, I would be leaving. I was allowed to leave. After all, he had no stake in the revenue. But I hope the owners will take notice of this. You have lost a customer, and likely a repeat customer. In addition, whatever happened to service and accommodating customers, especially when it costs nothing in this situation.

Consistent, flavorful, and good portion sizes. Went for lunch and the service was pretty quick,…read morethough we went right at opening so they were still in the process of starting their day. Lunch specials are smaller portion, but good for the price (raised to $12.95 now since my last menu photo) We split a lot of dishes because we couldn't decide: Wonton soup appetizer {4.5/5}: Loved how delicate the wontons were and the clear broth was great for a cold day. Tad too salty though. Lunch special --Braised pork belly {3/5}: Very tender, but kind of monotone in flavor. Very filling! Lunch special --Hot and sour gizzards {4.5/5}: This might freak people out in terms of texture, but I LOVE this texture. Good chew and pops of heat from the peppers and acid from the pickled green beans Lunch special --Cumin dish lamb {3/5}: kind of chewy and not as much flavor as I wished, but not bad! Chicken wings {3/5}: Crunchyyyy. Battered wings, not as much flavor as their chongqing chicken which I prefer, but not bad

Really good sichuan food, giant portions, authentic…read more Been meaning to swing by this place. Often cited as one of the best sichuan places around, had to make the trek to see. Outside is very much a busy shopping plaza in not the best part of town. Inside is a completely different story. Very clean and spacious, lots of booths and tables. Decorated well and a lot to see. The staff were friendly but there was a slight language barrier. We fumbled through the menu and found some bites to try. Food came out relatively quick, and that was a bit to manage because there were a lot of plates brought rather quickly. We got pics and dug in. The bites were flavored well. Nothing felt too greasy or under seasoned. The white pepper chicken was very crispy. But not a lot of chicken on each bite. The sweet and sour soup was both sweet and sour, but balanced enough that you could keep on eating it. The dumplings were fresh noodles and the filling was spiced well. The only flop was the spare ribs. Really tasty sauce, but very little meat on the bone. Had to suck on the bones to scrape enough meat off to make it a proper appetizer. It tasted good, just was not easy to eat. Price for the area was high for the neighborhood. It's got the quality and the flavor to command that price easily, but it doesn't match the stores. It's really good, but know that you're getting the real deal sichuan experience. Expect some heat, some saucy fingers, and some bones, and you'll get some really good bites
