Lo mien , pork fried rice and two fried shrimp wrapped in spring roll wrappers.

I use to order all the time before and after the remodel, I couldn't get enough of it. I love the new dining room. I decided to give them another chance. For the most part the food tastes good. But I feel like the quality of the ingredients has gone down. Could be a vendor or just cheap produce and ingredients. The eggs rolls are not cooked properly, they were very greasy. I had a Dinner combo 2 - lo mein , pork fried rice and fried shrimp. Two medium shrimp pulled and stretched into a wrap in a spring roll wrap and deep fried crispy. I felt like it was wrapped in a napkin and fried. The shell should have been crispy. Undercooked. The rice and noodles looked great. Photo quality. Looked better than it tasted. The rice had an underline burned flavor. The lo mien was like a min or two over cooked. Noodles were too soft. There were two people running the front a Hispanic women and Asian women. I tried asking if they could put the rice in a separate container from the lo mien. I thought a simple enough request. But nope. Asian lady was kind of rude about and told me to order it all separately. Charge me an extra buck for styrofoam container.

I must be one of the pickiest people when it comes to legit reasonably priced Chinese food. I'm from California and after traveling to different states, California, in my opinion, still stands as the #1 best in Chinese food, aside from the burritos and street tacos. Wong Wok is definitely up there. Upon entering the restaurant, it looked really nice. We were seated immediately in a booth. We didn't wait long to order either. I ordered the egg foo young lunch plate and mushu pork. Both dishes were delicious! Very tasty. The egg foo young was perfectly made and not every Chinese restaurant makes it the same. Wong Wok made it the way I like it. Not too starchy, they added the perfect amount of bean sprouts, protein, and gravy. I enjoyed the egg drop soup as well. My boyfriend ordered the spare ribs lunch plate which is basically called bbq pork in California. Same dish, different name. As far as the service, it was perfect. Best service from a Chinese restaurant that I've had in awhile. The woman was really nice and checked on us frequently. My overall dining experience here was excellent. Can't wait to come back. Thinking about this place is making me hungry again.

Incredible Bacon Crab Rangoons. These are the largest I've seen and tastiest.

We came upon this restaurant driving by and thought what a funny name for a restaurant. And we were glad we stopped. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with smiles and compliments. Maybe because we were also wearing Halloween costumes? Lol. The service was impeccable and friendly. On top of that the food was fantastic. It takes a lot for me to say the food was fantastic. We love this place. Whatever you are doing as a restaurant don't stop. We loved what we ordered tonight and we will be coming back. A lot.

This place comes fairly recommended on Google maps, so I figured why not give it a try. Let me say, I'm not quite sure what the rave is about. Yeah, it's Chinese food. But it's not out of the park 5 star food either- adjust your expectations. My wife ordered sesame chicken and I ordered general tsao (they call it general ting here). There was no difference in either dish, which I find frustrating because general tsao/ting should have a little more spice than sesame chicken. Just my opinion.

Menu 1 - The menu displays lunch specials, combination plates, and side dishes with prices, including chicken, seafood, pork, and vegetable options.

Always good food. Chicken wings have changed a bit. I don't like gummy skin, so I normally substitute the wings for chicken fingers.

The food is always fresh and good. They have been around for years. General Tsoa chicken is not what you use to. But not bad.

The fact that they aren't listed on the big ordering apps just adds to their charm and you know you're getting an authentic Chinese take-out experience. The restaurant is run by a lovely married couple who are both incredibly efficient and friendly. What really sets them apart is their personal touch. Even if I disappear for a while due to work, they still remember me by name whenever I return, which speaks volumes about how much they care for their customers. The food here is fantastic. My go-to dishes are the chicken wings and the egg foo young. They are always perfectly cooked with amazing flavors. The shrimp with broccoli is also done very well, with fresh, crisp veggies and plump shrimp, and their crab rangoons are some of the tastiest I've had in town, crispy on the outside with a creamy, flavorful filling. Every dish I've tried has been made with care, and you can taste the quality in every bite. One thing I really appreciate is the convenience. There's a large parking lot, which is a huge plus in this area, and the restaurant is located in a plaza with some shops, so you can walk around and browse while you wait for your food. If you're looking for a consistent, family-run Chinese restaurant with great food and welcoming service, Hong Kong Garden is it. I can't recommend it enough for some good old American Chinese take-out!

I have never been so disappointed--the only items that were still good were the wings and the egg rolls were in fact better than I remember. The Mongolian beef (which is my favorite Chinese dish) was awful-I ate one bite and could eat no more--it had an odd taste which was not pleasant. All fried rice (I had ordered a number of combo meals)-was hard as a rock (one could have gotten a broken tooth due to the hardness of the rice)-the rice had no flavor. The pork chow mein had hardly any pork. The shrimp with lobster sauce--the shrimp was not in one solid piece but soft without flavor. The teriyaki sticks were thin and hard in the middle. Nothing satisfied--I had spent $109 and most of the food went in the garbage can after one bite. WORD TO THE WISE; IF YOU CRAVE CHINESE FOOD, WATCH A YOUTUBE VIDEO AND MAKE YOUR OWN. However, the quality has been exceptionally good, especially in the last couple years since there appears to have been a change in management. The portions are generous, the meat and especially the vegetables aren't overcooked (a problem I've encountered at some other places), and the staff are friendly and professional. Is it greasy? Yes, though not nearly as much as some other places around here. Is it healthy? Probably not, unless you get one of the steamed vegetable dinners in the "healthy section". Personally I don't get Chinese food for my health; my personal favorite order is the dinner combo plate with chicken and broccoli and fried rice. Comes with an egg roll and tastes perfect every time. The timeless General Tso's chicken is also a treat. I've been here enough that a year or two ago they even gave me a free tote bag, which is among my most cherished thing-holders today. If you live in Holyoke, forget the middling rating and give this place a try. It's a great place to have in the neighborhood.
