Was typical dish's but edible. Service they are very nice but could not understand English. Ambiance empty. So read other reviews and spot on if you ask for spicy it won't be. If you dine in keep jackets on it's cold no heat in dining area as you see they have plastic up from register to kitchen so they are warm but your not! Tables weren't filthy but did need a cleaning. Some of the better Chinese takeout in the Chicopee/ludlow area. Offers some interesting dishes you don't often see around here. The restaurant itself is pretty cold and uninviting. But the food is good, so definitely do takeout. read more

I ordered from here BEWARE.... You will pay more when you pick up . What is posted for menu prices in line are not what they charge for food. Lunch prices are the same as dinner prices. Argued with the lady about pricing since I was now overcharged for food that is just ok. And the wait time sucks when they are not busy at all. I am not giving a bad review for the food. It's amazing I am giving two star because of the service. I ordered a small order from here literally 3 items and was given a time frame of 30- 45 min. I decided to give them an hour to complete. When I arrived I was told it would be an additional 10 min. 75 min later I had my order. So if you're not in a rush Po's isn't that bad. Po's does a lot right. For starters, they have a wonderful, user-friendly website that makes online ordering a snap. The prices are great (most of their soups are $3.50/qt?!), the food is solid, the interior is clean and comfortable with plenty of booths should you prefer to eat in rather than take out, and the people are super sweet (especially the little girl who is the unofficial greeter - she's precious). Everything that we've had from Po's has been good, my one complaint being that even when you ask for extra spicy, the dishes tend to be on the bland-ish side. Not a deal-breaker by any means, because I'll take fresh and simple over funky and gamey any day; just be ready to spike things to your liking if you prefer some heat. I can vouch for the following: hot & sour soup, tofu vegetable soup, wonton soup, house special soup, seafood soup, chicken wings, fried meat dumplings, egg rolls, kung pao chicken, beef with garlic sauce, chicken with garlic sauce, shrimp with mixed vegetables (they use jumbo shrimp and they've never been overcooked), and they are very accommodating about making things by request that don't appear on the menu...last time we ordered, we asked if they could do a beef with bean sprouts, and that dish wound up being our favorite of the night (lovely fresh gingery sauce). And they also give you various free things if your order reaches various dollar thresholds, but I think you have to ask? Anyhow, solid...reliable...friendly...affordable...with the added bonus of online ordering should you want to bypass the language challenges...and delivery should you want to bypass the whole getting-out-of-pajamas thing. Such great food and service. We ordered pick up since most places are closed due to Covid-19 and our food was hot and ready. The owners are nice and our food tasted great! Solid. I've eaten here over the past ten years probably 6-7 times. So not a regular or anything but feel like I can accurately review the place for those casual diners like myself. Food is above average or what you'd typically expect. I've always received what I ordered, got it hot, and service was good. Dining in for a casual bite is fine. No spectacular decor or fancy plates, etc. Me personally this is a solid lunch stop but not eating dinner with the family. Pick up spot typically. Other than New Years your food should be ready on time. Never had an issue or bad food. No standout dish to me but all solid/standard stuff. read more

Alright Po, your day of reckoning has come. First off, the food here is five stars - no question. Alas, the service was a little slow. How slow? Well, I was practically able to purchase eggs from Tractor Supply, hatch the chicks, raise them to maturity, and prepare my own farm-fresh chicken fingers in the time it took Po and his crew to deliver our meal. Despite the early estimate of 45 minutes, we ended up waiting over two hours for the deliveryman to knock on the door. Over two hours! In internet time, that's like three or four years. My beef-broccoli was delicious, but if I had known I would be waiting until 11pm to enjoy it, I would have just had cereal and called it a night. At one point, we called to inquire and they actually told us the food was "still being cooked." I'm no chef, but I think cooking any of the items on this menu for over two hours would render it burnt. The delivery driver was very nice and apologized profusely. This almost made up for the two hours we sat in the dark, unaware as to the status of our beloved order, without so much as a call from Po's people. And it almost made up for the (unbelievably inaccurate) initial time estimate. If this had been a fifteen- or twenty-minute delay, you'd have been fine, but we know that wasn't the case, don't we Po? Anyway, the food here is great. The beef-broccoli and chicken fingers were overflowing the container -- I had lunch for two days afterwards. And the prices are fair. But you're better off going down there and picking it up from Po yourself or patronizing one of the other thousand Chinese joints in the immediate mile radius. Unless you're willing to wait. I ordered a large meal (hot and sour soup, beef and broccoli, and steamed dumplings) to meet a delivery minimum and thinking I would make several meals out of it. The delivery driver didn't bring a receipt for me, which is standard to bring a sales receipt and I need it for corporate reimbursement, so I took a picture of what he had me sign. I started with hot and sour soup. Good! Next, I decided to try a dumpling. I typically love dumplings. This was so bad! There was more dough than filling. I ended up throwing the entire order away. Then to the beef and broccoli. The the beef and broccoli were cooked nicely, but the sauce was too salty. So, I ate out the least sauced and the rest is in the trash. And the fortune cookies. Stale. Writing an update because we continue to get Po's because we love the food. So, my updated advice is... if you want amazing Chinese food and like to support small family owned businesses, and don't mind waiting upwards to an hour for your food... Po's is the way to go! The timing still annoys me, because they'll said 30/35 min on the phone and it'll still take another 10 min after I get there after waiting 45 minutes... but I just expect it and work it into my schedule on days when time isn't an issue. read more

Po's is amazing! I'm pretty picky when it comes to Chinese food and ever since moving to Chicopee I haven't been able to find a place that I actually enjoyed - and believe me I've tried them all! After seeing the food my brother ordered I decided to give it a try. My search for great Chinese food in Chicopee is finally over! The chicken fingers are delicious, crispy and actually cooked all the way through! Chicken Lo Mein was well cooked, flavored and not too greasy, and the boneless ribs were excellent. The spring roll tasted fresh and was amazing as well. My brother ordered the General Tsos chicken and it looked great. They even give you a good amount of sauce if you ask, thankfully because I've found most places to be stingy. Po's is definitely a must try, especially if you're picky like I am. I've tried almost every chinese restaurant in Chicopee with no success. I've read the other reviews and I will definitely agree that the wait time is very long. Almost 1.5 hours to get my food delivered! When I received it, it was hot. Chicken fingers appeared and tasted as if they were made fresh. Fired dumplings were awesome (beware- a lot of ginger) General tso chicken had a nice crisp, wasn't as spicey as I like, but I'm sure I could alter it. Nice and sweet. All the food in rating 5 stars, faster service would give an overall 5 stars, even if it was only an hour wait. This will definitely be my go to Chinese delivery in chicopee. read more

I am new to Chicopee and didnt know of any good Asian restaurants because there is only a handful in this city. I was very disappointed with everything I ordered. I order a Pu Pu Platter, House Fried Rice and Beef Lo Mein... to give a fair try before ordering the specialty dishes. The food tasted like Shopping Mall food court quality. Not good at all.... Too much nutmeg in everything...even chicken finger and wings.... The shrimp in the house fried rice was canned shrimp and again nutmeg tasting. I spent $37.00 and tried to reheat again the next day.... only to throw all of it in the trash! Waste of money! I will never, ever, ever eat here again. Customer service was awful, as well. Woman on phone rushed me and the delivery person called me to tell me to come to the outside front door of my apartment building to get my order.... Just rude! read more

We go to Po's for great Chinese takeout food. Generally there is 30 to 40 min. lead time to pick up, which is perfect for us. They cook to order and pack your food hot for the trip home, and with no leaks! Our favorites: Shrimp and Broccoli with Black Bean Sauce (we order it with their outstanding Brown Rice), Singapore Mei Fun (we order ours without pork and extra spicy),Chicken Egg Foo Young is also amazing, and the Scallion Pancakes, too. The food is fresh and savory, with crisp vegetables, and you get great value here--plentiful portions. There are tables if you do need to eat in--We always pick our orders up. We've been patrons of Po's for 5 years now; they truly are the best of small business in America! Nothing good to say! I had to have delivery for a number of reasons. An hour late for delivery! The driver who looked like a left over from Haight-Ashbury (if you are young you wont know what that means)....said (in a kind of a "I've been smoking mushrooms all day" voice) "Oh sorry I am late." Yeah, ok. The food was uglier than him. Lo Mein so peppery it was not edible. Soup, strange broth but I ate it. Entree so salty again, not edible. Is there a place in Chicopee that has good Chinese food? Since I dont have a garbage disposal, my toilet has been sending me thank you letters for all the lousy food I have been dumping in it. Great food, good price. I have been looking for a good Chinese place for some time and I have finally found it. Good is very fresh, not greasy or heavy, and great flavors. The people there are super nice. The atmosphere in the restaurant is one of a typical take out location but it's fine to eat there if you're not looking for ambiance. I've had soup, egg rolls, beef and broccoli and General Tso's - all really good. Even the noodles are made here. If you want good Chinese food at a fair price, come here. read more
