Shrimp toast, burnt on the outside, raw on the inside.

This was our favorite restaurant for Chinese food. One of just two in the area that has shrimp toast. Apparently, it is under new ownership. The new owners have a lot to learn! The egg drop soup had no flavor, my husband's dinner came out lukewarm, greasy and with practically no flavor. The shrimp toast was the worst! Burnt on the outside, grease soaked and, raw in the middle! It tells me that their oil is dirty, they're dropping the temperature to reduce the smoke from the dirty oil causing greasy, undercooked shrimp & egg in the middle and the dark, burnt outside. Clean your fryer and change the oil! Regularly. Not sure if we'll give them a second chance.

    Crab rangoons

Food wasn't bad but crab Rangoons were completely hollow not to mention they have Corona signs and signs that say cocktails but don't serve any alcohol at all.

Szechuan AKA CELERY. Would you get this? The typical Chinese Beef Szechuan is nothing like this!! This place is a joke! sTAy AWAY!!!

This place is awful! Would you call this Szechuan beef?? Might as well call this celery dish!!!! The typical Szechuan beef is nothing like this!! Customer service is awful too! STAY AWAY!!!

I've been coming here for years. Always great service and food is delicious. The friendly staff is always great. I ordered the chicken and ribs special.

    Scallops and beef sticks

Okay so you understand this review and the motivation. I have been searching for an old style NY Chinese restaurant for years. I walked in and the NOSTALGIA just came pouring into my soul. The booths are sturdy and amazing as if the place is frozen in time. I find the food amazing as well. I ordered the beef with broccoli and was blown away. The wonton soup filled my heart and warmed it up. By the way Shrimp Toast I could not believe I finally found a place that did it. Now I must admit the color and ingredients for the fried rice were all there but it was no where near the highlight of the dinner. My date ordered the scallops and the waiter didn't even hesitate to make sure they understood that the scallops were fake. We were both impressed to the honesty and we still ordered. My date loved them and loves the sea flavor regardless of knowing they were fake. I noticed another couple order there food and instead of fried rice asked for it to be replaced with roast pork low mein. That's how we are going to order next time. I will update when we go again. And I will be going again. Great place to thumbs up. Epic

Good food but they denied my door dash order for being under their $10 min. That's not even right.

Apparently he took too long to get there because they sent someone out who stood in front of our house and screamed "help!" at the top of his lungs for a good few minutes after no one came to the door. Scared the shit out of the upstairs neighbors. They genuinely thought someone was getting killed in front of our house. Meanwhile, my partner goes inside the restaurant to find this lady had added a "delivery fee" to our receipt after already swiping his card, bringing our grand total of $27 fucking dollars to SIXTY DOLLARS. SIX. ZERO. You read that right. And refused to refund him for this so-called "fee". And there's a cherry on top to this, don't you worry! Get home with said food, find a long ass hair in my crab rangoon, and the majority of the spare ribs is fat. Do yourself a favor and stay the hell away from this place.

When we got to the location, we thought it was a mistake. It was a dingy takeout restaurant. I thought about not going in to get my order but decided the right thing to do was to give them a chance. Do not give them a chance unless you want to eat mystery meat. We ordered a basic chicken dish and the chicken was not chicken. Unless it was the poorest quality of chicken. I'm writing this review to warn others. The other recent reviews are not accurate. Yelp needs to review the profiles to make sure these true Yelp reviews. The vegetables and the rice were fresh and that was about it. Buyer beware. The woman at the counter was very nice but I hope that I don't get sick from the couple bites I took.

It has been eight years since my last yelp review, and I had been enjoying my retirement. Until I…read moreordered from this place, that is. I hate to do it, but here goes... I ordered the "beef stick" -combo. I was greeted by two small, burnt, and suspiciously shaped beef teriyaki skewers, atop a pile of shockingly fluorescent yellow pork fried rice. Had I spilled any of this rice on myself, I could have worked as a flagger at the nearest construction site. The pork chunks, on the other hand, were whiter than a 1970's mustache at a disco club. One chunk looked so much like chewed bubble gum I removed it for inspection to discover it was "just" gristle, thank god. There were also two chicken fingers, clearly fried in oil dating from the Nixon -era. The chicken itself was chewy and sinewy. The only duck sauce came in packets, and it tasted like high viscosity, salty water -- who uses duck sauce packets these days anyway? But that's not what I'm here to tell you about; I'm here to tell you about what happened ten minutes later. My stomach became a veritable symphony of horrors. The sounds were akin to a butter knife in a sink disposal. I knew what was coming, and come it did. I spent the next few hours in a type of suffering I wouldn't wish on an enemy as the old, greasy, fluorescent food rained hatred down upon my stomach. I finally retreated to the couch, my body weakened and my soul defeated. Later that night, due in equal parts to my low IQ and my short memory, I decided to eat some of the pork fried rice leftovers. After all, there's no way this stuff really made me sick. It *had* to be a coincidence. Thus began my most recent self-education, for within minutes, I was once again in the bathroom praying to every deity I could think of. The things I saw that night - the things I smelled that night - will haunt my nightmares for an eternity. I'll cut to the chase: don't eat anything that looks like the food from this place. Chicken fingers shouldn't be fried in anything resembling motor oil, pork shouldn't be colorless fat globs, and rice shouldn't be the color of a school bus. I regret giving a one star review for a local business, but my stomach insists. May god have mercy upon your soul.
