Nope this is not the place anymore. My family used to come here a long time ago when the original owners were running it. Crab Rangoons used to be the best ever and since they were bought over, it's went completely downhill. We haven't been back in a while so my husband decided to give it a chance again since we have tried it a couple times under the new ownership and it was edible, but when we got it this time the chicken fingers were so thick in batter that each bite was like eating raw dough. We also ordered the crab Rangoons they had zero flavor. The only highlight was the pink duck sauce, which helped mask all the problems. We probably won't be going back, unfortunately. read more

These folks do an exceptionally good job and are worthy of a cross town visit from anywhere in the Springfield area. I had a dream I could order vegan Chinese-American food but was sad that I would probably have to go to NYC or LA to get it. So imagine my surprise when while in MA, I discovered a hole in the wall restaurant in West Springfield, of all places, that could fit the bill. They have a full on vegan menu and I was super intrigued. I had chicken roll (4 mini egg rolls with mock chicken) and the vegan Kung Pao Chickn. I loved it so much. Not too salty, nicely flavored, sauce was not cloyingly sweet or too sour. It could have been a little spicier, but I really liked it. I could tell they put their own spin on it and didn't just eat up Lily's vegan pantry dishes. The veggies were fresh, the rice was fresh it was like awesome. The main dish consisted of tender jumbo shrimp, celery, carrots, peppers, baby corn, and peanuts in a spicy sauce. Rude people and bad food. My husband tried to pick up an online order with my first name on it. We share a last name. They would not give him the order even when I called to say it was for us both (why they needed to know this is already weird). The woman on the phone said "why would you order if your husband was going to pick it up?" They offer Doordash but I guess they only like you to use that for delivery, otherwise you're going to get berated in the store. If you try to go get it, they will make sure you feel like a criminal for trying to get the food you ordered and paid (and tipped) for. Never ever again. Worse, the food itself was a disappointing experience- the general tso was freaking RAW and also mushy- there were two pieces of broccoli and lots of stale rice. The "fried" rice isn't fried, it's just cold white rice with soy sauce and little tiny flakes of meat (?) and onion. The egg roll that came with the meal was like a hard fried baton that spewed grease when it was bitten (once). We ordered fried dumplings which were cold, limp and oily. If we ever go back here it will be because we hate ourselves and want to be yelled at and served expensive inedible food. read more

First visit post-COVID today was really disappointing. The portions shrunk drastically and prices went way up. Used to love the spicy lo mein, but today's order was bland, with very little meat or veggies mixed with the noodles. The worse service I have ever received and it came directly from ownership. I placed an order for delivery and inquired about a coupon for a free item but was told I couldn't use it. I called back a minute later to purchase the item anyway. The driver was nice but my added item was not in the bag. The item was hand written on the receipt and I was charged for it and the driver called the store to let them know. They had the nerve to call me back and yell at me because I was already told I couldn't use the coupon but then they realized I paid for the item but still didn't apologize. Then they yelled at me some more and insisted the item was in the bag and I was forced to yell back and tell them I effing know what chicken and broccoli looks like. First off, all but 1 comment below have all been negative, well this is my first and last experience with this joke of a place claiming to be a restaurant. just ordered a $30 something meal, the delivery driver came to my hotel n knocked on my hotel door gave me the food and I gave him a $20 tip and I ask for only $5 back( Which would have left him a $15 tip on a $30 meal) and instead he gave me $3 back and took off fast. I didn't realize that he had shorted me on my tip until I got back in my hotel room then I opened the bag of food and the food was freezing, raw meat, and not even in containers it was everywhere. I called the restaurant to complain and got hung up on, I called back because I don't want this happening to other people. I honestly could've cared less about the tip it was the fact that he was so shady about it and purposely gave me $3 back. When I called the restaurant to explain this to them, I was hung up on the 1st time so then I called back and spoke to someone in charge whom insisted on telling me that there is nothing that she could do about it and she had too many drivers so she wouldnt be able to even identify the driver which I know is not true. I know that that was a flat out lie because I gave them my name where I was and I explained what he looked like as well. I also gave my card number so they know very well who delivered my food and pretty much got robbed of a $20 tip on a $30. I'm not usually one to ever make a complaint but this was absurd. I wasnt even offered a refund. I bit into raw chicken and took pics to prove to the owner and she still didnt care. I offered him a $15 tip on a $30 tab and he STILL stole money from the tip and then management did absolutely nothing for me. The worst part is is I could have cared less about the tip for the money or anything else the only reason I called to complain was so it doesn't happen to anybody else and the fact that the person running this restaurant could've cared less that thier customers got robbed. I'm taking a picture of the chicken because the chicken is raw (so I also could or could've gotten really sick), so I opened it and the food is cold and I am the last person on the planet to ever complain but this is just honest-to-God the worst food delivery service meal I've ever had an encounter with. I make my own egg rolls so I'm rather picky about them, however their egg rolls were really very good in fact the best I've tasted so far. The sesame chicken was also very good. I called this restaurant to order take out to be delivered to me. I placed my order and was told that it would be approximately 35 minutes for delivery. After almost an hour I did not see my order so I checked my bank account to see if the food had been charged. I had ordered the same thing a week ago and was charged approximately $17.00 and this time they where charging me over $20. I called the restaurant to see where the food was and to question the charge. I was told the food was on it's way and that they were too busy to discuss the charges with me. I told them that I was the paying customer and had the right to know what they were charging. The woman told me she was canceling my order and hung up on me. Used to love this place but they make up their own prices!!! This year I ordered from this place at least once a week and it wasn't until recently I noticed the prices would be different. Today I ordered a few items and the total was $35.87. I asked for a break down and noticed that some item prices were changed and on their menus, they were priced differently and online. I changed my order slightly and was give a price of $26.36. About 45 late my food arrived and the slip said $30.25!!! Some may say the amount is small however it's the service and the sneakiness of them changing the price twice!! If I would have used my card as I usually do they would have overcharged me. When the driver called about the difference of the price she responded with an aggressive tone and said her son made a mistake in the price and he's just a kid. She was very rude and refused to acknowledge the price I was originally given. Needless to say the food went back with the driver for terrible customer service. I will never order from there and will encourage others from my job to never support their business. They even had the nerve to drop off more menus which are now in the trash where they belong!
