R10 - with an extra egg

My favorite ramen spot in the area! My friend and I passed by last night for a quick dinner, we got seated immediately! Service was quick and to the point, even though it was kinda busy we got our food in a timely manner. I loveeee the creamy broth, definitely try the R10 ramen. We also ordered pork buns and they were jam packed with flavor. I love the restaurant aesthetic overall it's very clean and well kept. It was around $42 for 2 soups (with extra additions), the appetizer and two drinks! Amazing price point in my opinion.

Went for a late lunch. We were the only customers for a few minutes. Ordered and were quickly served. Food was so good, I hummed in happiness with every bite from first to last. I got the spicy miso pork ramen. It was not too hot but it cleared my sinuses a bit. I'm out of town visiting. If this place were close to me, I would be a regular. If you are a noodle lover, eat here!

I'm no expert, but I've had a lot of ramen when traveling. Good and bad, authentic and American made, and while it wasn't horrible and was enjoyable Miso Ramen, it just felt a bit lacking. I could be wrong, but the quality of the broth just didn't seem the best. It wasn't bad, but it just felt like the flavoring came out of a packet, or maybe just low quality miso paste. If it's not pre-made though, I'm not sure what to say. It was just extremely mediocre, nothing bad, nothing great. Would recommend though if you're getting anything but ramen

My friend and I were in Northampton yesterday, we got pretty hungry after walking around for a bit, most places we tried to dine at were takeout only. We finally came across Yokohama Ramen, which was open for dining inside. Yokohama Ramen is a lowscale Japanse resturant. We were seated fairly quickly. There were only a few other tables occupied. Their menu is nice, everything has an image, but unfortunately not much of a description. We ordered several appetizers. We got the Shrimp Tempura, the Rock Shrimp Tempura, Chicken wings, dumplings and Takoyaki. This seems like a lot of food, and it was. We didn't expect the appetizers to be such generous portions. Unfortunately, I really didn't like most of what we ordered. I'm not a fan of dumplings to begin with, that was for my friend and she liked them. The shrimp tempura was horrifyingly oily, I know it's fried and this isn't the most nutritious food in the world, but by just gently touching it, your fingers are a greasy mess. I've had this before that wasn't this greasy. I actually removed the greasy layer to eat just the shrimp. The chicken was just fine, nothing special. I liked the rock shrimp tempura, these were still greasy, but much more tolerable. And finally I took a risk by getting the Takoyaki. I didn't know what this was. This was the best thing here, and they were the best presented when they were brought out. Takoyaki are octopus balls with a hard shell. These are hot, bite gently, but really tasty. My friend was more satisfied with Yokohama Ramen then I was. I liked two things of what we ordered. The interior was nicely decorated with Japanese umbrellas all over the ceiling. I wasn't super impressed by most of the food here, I can't say I'm looking forward to going back.

I was a little skeptical at first due to the exterior of the restaurant but after eating there, I realized how good it really was. Very impressed with their ramen. It was delicious!

So this place is really cool looking and all, very cozy inside and clean bathrooms which is deserves a star. The Ramen was so far from what me and friends were expecting. We are all from Japan, they are exchange students and I partly grew up there. The ramen lacked flavour and content, noodles were meh, broth was lacking in umami taste. Not much else to say other than the decor is upside down Matsuri umbrellas wiith cools art on them. Must be popular with the hipsters and weaboos.

Such good ramen! Every time I visit NoHo I always eat lunch here! Excellent service as well! Definitely give it a try.

this place was whatever. the interior is refreshing as it's totally different from any place in noho. Very trendy and chic - felt like I was in a big city. The service was meh. It was my friend's birthday and she had called them the day before to ask about reservations since it was the first week and was super busy. They told her she could just come in the day of but when we did, we ended up waiting over half an hour. They let some other big party go first because they had made a reservation 30 minutes ago but when we told them we tried to make one yesterday they just apologized and made us wait. The ramen is mediocre - super bland and too many veggies for a traditional ramen dish. The gyudon was good though. Huge serving.

Went there with friend. The food is ok, service is good! We ordered spicy miso ramen, beef ramen, fried chicken, seaweed salad. I think the beef ramen is too sweet for me

Food was good but the portions are smaller than anticipated for the price. The place is modern but has nice Asian decor.

I simply cannot imagine ordering anything other than their Curry Ramen bowl from this point forward. Like one would legitimately be insane not to get it, provided you are an average fan of standard Thai-style curries like Red, Panang, or even Las Vegas style Three-color (Red+Green+Yellow). My suggested mod: Ask for your home-crafted noodles a little extra "QQ" or chewy al dente. And ask for a side of their home-made chili oil to step up the Szechuan influence. Normally I shun the fusion or "new-style" menu items, but this Curry Ramen bowl is stuff of dreams. Perfectly executed, temperature hot, unforgettably umami, and the exact drinkable curry broth viscosity that is no accident. This bowl is a champion, folks!

It had a lively energy without feeling chaotic. I ordered the beef ramen and added shrimp, and everything came out in under 10 minutes. The broth had a really nice depth of flavor with a mild kick; not overpowering, just enough warmth. The beef was tender, the shrimp addition was worth it, and the portion size was generous. The space itself is clean and modern. I appreciated being able to see the kitchen area and the bar setup; everything looked organized and well run. The booth seating was comfortable, and overall it felt like a great spot for a casual lunch or relaxed dinner. Definitely a place I'd come back to.

"Right before my very eyes Baby what a big surprise"…read more(Chicago) When was the last time, you were enjoying a gorgeous looking dish of Vegetable Tempura and realized OMG, I just chomped down on something crazy spicy? Well, that's what happens when you bite into an unadvertised half of a jalapeno pepper when the menu promises sweet potato, onion, and broccoli. Now look, as the late Sly Stone sang, "Different strokes for different folks", meaning that we all have different tolerances for spiciness. I was OK with that blazing piece of green, that for all purposes looked like a slice of Bell Pepper, but it set off fire alarms for my wife, who flat out couldn't eat it. Putting all that aside, we had a very enjoyable dinner. We got a lucky parking spot in a small lot right across the street and were seated without a reservation, which was also kind of lucky because Kisara doesn't have a lot of seating - I counted 8 tables (some for 4 and a few for 2) and nine seats at the bar. Our dinner ran a shade under $42 with tax for a 12-ounce bottle of Sapporo beer, the aforementioned Vegetable Tempura appetizer ($10), an Octopus Sushi appetizer (three pieces for $5.75, and two nice salads - an Avocado Salad ($7.25) and Teriyaki Chicken ($11.50). As you can see, Kisara's pricing is pretty good. The Tempura (save for the unexpected and unadvertised jalapeno halves) was very good - a generous serving of hot, crispy and oil free sweet potato planks, broccoli florets, and onion rings. My octopus sushi was pretty good. The pieces were large and presented beautifully. Maybe a minor quibble would be the chewiness factor of the octopus. The salads were very pretty - an attractive presentation of mixed greens, lettuce, cucumbers, shredded carrots, and a ginger dressing. My wife's salad had seven avocado slices and mine had ten chunks of teriyaki sauce glazed chicken chunks. Maybe another minor quibble would be the chewiness of the chicken, they were definitely overcooked. Positives Their menu is fantastic. Service was fine and included a few check-backs which are always appreciated Negatives There is no public WIFI - when I saw a Kisara network pop up, I asked for the password and was told "that's only for the manager". They don't really have a website, but you can somewhat see one via an ordering platform off their Facebook page. Conclusion For walking in off the street without a reservation, overall, we had a very nice dinner.
