Over multiple visits we have sampled several noodles, soups, and entrees. The entrees seem like the low points with somewhat small portions. BUT the noodles and soup portions are huge. And delicious! Vegetarian options are wide and varied--there is even a dedicated vegetarian section on the menu. Building a noodle bowl or soup is fun, but my all time favorite was the Golden Noodles. We were passing through Northampton and stopped here to have dinner. It was a great pick. The food was very tasty . We had two animal shaped bun appetizers which were adorable to look at and yummy too. The potato curry one was marked spicy but not to fear, it is not very spicy at all. I had the shoyu ramen, my son had the Pink Lady soup and my partner had a shrimp salad. All were delicious. The Pink Lady soup was unique to me and I would definitely recommend- a lightly spicy seafood noodle soup, colored bright salmon/coral pink.(from spices, I think- not artificially.) We also had dessert- the mango sticky rice and the triple. The triple was probably microwaved; it was a little too hot, but good nonetheless. A very sweet older gentleman served us- he was perfectly attentive and a quick server. I'm guessing his wife was the older lady at the counter. I really like this place. Noodles is so good. I came here once with my boyfriend and got dumplings. The tiny dumplings are perfectly soft and the sauce that comes with them is so tasty. It's a little tangy and a little sweet. I also love the size. During this first visit, the owner (I'm assuming), also recommended the Rock Garden, which was very good. I've never had anything like it before, but it's nutritious and delicious! The next day we went back again and I got to try one of their soups. The seafood coconut soup is delightful and savory. Since the portion size is so big, I was able to save some to eat whenever. I had it cold a few hours later and it was just as good if not better! If I were you, I would add their hot sauce! What a lovely lunch! I was totally drawn in by the photos of the animal buns, and they did not disappoint! They were both adorable and delicious! We had chicken basil and black bean coconut, in almost too cute to eat hedgehog, chicken, panda, and puppy shape. Western Massachusetts doesn't strike me as a place that would have a Thai soup noodle spot but lo and behold, there is one right in the heart of town, just a stone's throw from Smith College. Caveat with this review is that this rating is relative to my expectations of what an Asian noodle bar in Western Massachusetts might taste like versus what I usually eat here in the NYC area. The wife and I stopped in since we were looking for a quick bite in the area and were pleasantly surprised when we got here to discover that it was a spot that focused on Thai soup noodles. The Yelp profile actually made us think that this was an Asian noodle bar - it had ramen and other Asian noodle dishes but once we arrived and saw the menu, we knew immediately that the best bites here would be Thai noodles (which compromise about half the menu). The summer rolls are fresh but have a tad too much lettuce. The dipping sauce was also a bit weird since it wasn't tamarind based or peanut sauce based (it was more of a citrus vinegar kind of flavor). The sukhothai noodles were good - flavorful and cooked well although it was a little less pungent than other bowls I've had before. Pink lady noodles (yentafo) also got a thumbs up. I will say that if you're looking for authentic hardcore Thai soup noodles and flavors, this place might disappoint. I fully believe that the couple that runs this place can make a more authentic flavored soup noodles but I think they've adjusted some of the flavors to tailor to the local tastes of the area especially for the uninitiated. Either way, it still tastes pretty great (for the area). The service here was quick and friendly and we were served by none other than the owners. Prices are a bit high IMO but to get this kind of food in this area is a treat. Definitely a hidden gem for anyone looking to get a good bowl of noodles in the area. read more

Looks really can be deceiving because, to me, it also looked spicy at first but unfortunately, no amount of spicy sauce could rescue it from the world of flavorlessness. I fell in love with this working in Thailand and try to have it whenever possible. At Noodles it was good. I would have ordered it more spicy if I was not with my daughters. I had the Shoyu ramen which is ramen, vegetables, roasted pork, and 1/2 a hard boiled egg in a broth with soy. I really enjoyed it. The veggies still had some crunch to them (with fancy cut carrots), the pork was tender, the ramen toothsome, and the broth loaded with umami. There was a lot of food, I could not finish the meal.
