It's family owned and run- he cooks, she boxes food/serves and bags. Their son is often around doing his homework or on his leap pad- he's a cutie. The service is fast, although when they tell you it'll be ready in 20, it's usually more like 30-45. The restaurant has dine-in service but I've never seen anyone eating there. It's VERY clean and totally fine to dine in, but most customers seem to get take out. Bathroom is available as well. Speak clearly and know that when you pick up, you indicate your order by what you purchased. They don't take names or give a number. I've ordered take out 30+ times and have never had anything messed up or mistaken. TL;DR: great Chinese place, best around that I've found. Generous portions and prompt service. Very well priced.

The staff were very friendly, but I noticed the same unusual smell I remembered from years ago. I ordered Combo A: General Tso's Chicken, Pork Fried Rice, and Crab Rangoon. The pork fried rice was underwhelming. The pork was tough, and the flavor seemed to be little more than soy sauce. It was mostly rice with a few onion slices and pieces of pork. The General Tso's Chicken was disappointing as well. There was very little actual chicken and a lot of batter. The sauce was brown in color and tasted nothing like the General Tso's sauce I've had elsewhere. It lacked flavor, and aside from a single piece of pepper, there were no vegetables. The Crab Rangoon was okay. The texture was different from what I'm used to, but it was edible. Overall, I found it to be an $18.75 meal that was largely inedible. While I appreciate the friendly service, the food simply wasn't for me, and unfortunately my second visit didn't change my opinion.

Dynasty Gourmet has remained our #1 go-to Chinese Restaurant take out for many years. We do miss Peggy, who knew us when we ordered by phone. Tonight's meal was the best yet. We ordered Fried Wonton (crisp, not greasy), crab rangoon (also very tasty), chicken fingers (crisp, plenty of chicken), vegetable lo mein ( not greasy and loaded with veggies), and my favorite, shrimp fried rice (medium sized shrimp was a plus). We were told 20 minutes and it was more like 40, but it being a holiday weekend, we didn't mind. Food was hot, bagged well and made it to our table for a really nice post New Year's dinner. There is not allot of vegetarian options in Easthampton , MA so this place is just perfect. Its a small town place with generals Tofu, Garlic Green Beans, and frankly some of the best Chinese food in the area. read more
