To be fair the food is a little better then it used to be. I just don't appreciate placing an order and they just give me whatever they want to give me and not what I ordered. For the area, this is definitely the best takeout chinese place for the price range it's in. It is americanized but it's definitely made with quality. I get takeout chinese from a ton of places but this definitely is among the best in its category. I personally got the General Tso's, egg drop soup, and boneless bbq ribs. This place doesn't use the overbreaded chicken in their general tso's, so that's a huge plus. It's mostly meat with a little breading to catch the sauce, so it's perfect. The egg drop soup is also not too thick, not too runny. The boneless bbq ribs were also delicious; some pieces were a little dried out but I ordered a small and the amount I got was far more than I expected, so I didn't mind. Definitely will be coming back here when I get my craving for cheap chinese takeout. If you're looking for real chinese this may not be the place, but if you just have a hankering for americanized chinese, this place has got it. read more

UPDATE: they changed hands and are just not impressive. Go to Tong Sing instead for better, more consistent fare. This is the best Chinese in Easthampton, and among the better in the area. If you ever lived in NYC or Boston you've had better by far. Nothing is really creative or authentic but everything is pretty solid except for the dumplings. I get takeout once a week here. I wouldn't want to eat there because it's really sterile and always seems to smell like bleach. The one lady is a total sweetheart but the other is kinda bitchy; the delivery guy is pleasant. Visiting a friend near town and stopped by to dine in. Place is clean for a standard of a chinese restaurant. Staff is friendly; wait time is manageable; food is definitely delicious. Menu has wide variety of choices, I ordered some general tso's chicken with fried rice, and some wings on the side, honestly, it was crispy, well-flavored, and fresh! recommended for people around the area! read more

Have been trying all the Chinese places in/around Easthampton and this is the winner! Ordering was very easy online. I ordered around 1:50pm, requesting it be ready for 3:15pm. When I went in to get it at exactly 3:15 it was ready and I was greeted by a very nice woman at the counter. I could tell they timed it perfectly because all of the food was still hot by the time I got it home... so kudos to some great business and caring about getting the job done right! I have been using yelp for years but don't really do reviews but this place had four stars and I thought I need to say something. This food was so gross. We threw most of it away. My gal had the Cold Noodle w. Hot Sesame. It was Pasta with peanut butter, she had a couple bites and tossed the rest. Everything in my Pu Pu platter was just awful. The worst was the chicken, it smelled off. Everything was greasy and i wonder when the changed their fry oil last. The fried shrimp was not properly cleaned so we also had fried shrimp poo. While there are a couple of items on the menu that are a little too sweet, 90% of them are perfectly seasoned. Good spicing, and not too much sweetness in dishes that shouldn't be. The Lo Mein is really great, with plenty of shrimp. The hot and sour soup, a measure of a good Chinese restaurant, is awesome. This place is pretty awesome! The chinese food here is def better than most in the area. The service is always great and delivery is usually prompt. The young woman who works the counter always remembers us when we come in and is so super nice. It's things like that that keep us coming back. If your black don't order here!! I say this because customer service is ALWAYS poor. I've had there chicken wings fresh before, but due to poor customer service-I've taken a long hiatus, until tonight. I called to let them know that the chicken looked old, and also taste stale. Dynasty is surprisingly not bad for a takeout Chinese place. We've ordered from here a few times, and the food is always hot and fresh-tasting. Nothing to write home about, really, but hey, what do you expect? I'm just happy there's decent takeout so close to home. read more

I grew up in town and I always got Chinese here. We call it "Insane Donald Duck" because of the artwork on their takeout menu. I have driven to Easthampton from Springfield to get take out from Dynasty because I think it tastes pretty good. The fried rice is not yellow and the wonton broth is the lighter kind. It's better than anything in Springfield that's for sure. Lunch menu is reasonably priced. read more

What a hidden gem! I stopped here to grab some lunch and was blown away! I normally don't like fried wontons but they had house made complementary ones on the table and they are soooo tasty! I got the fresh mushroom chicken lunch special with wonton soup all for around $6. everything was absolutely delicious and I had more than enough leftover for dinner. This place offers the best vegetarian Chinese food that I have experienced. Their 'veggie curry' is great but their Sesame Tufo is without doubt the best around. Anyone, veggie or not, should try it once. Don't try it anywhere else though as other local Chinese restaurants do not do it well at all. The next best I've tried is in Pittsfield, MA. read more

Dynasty Gourmet is the BEST chinese food in the area. I love this place. I don't even live in Easthampton anymore but sometimes I just gotta have me some Dynasty Gourmet so I drive out of my way. The staff is incredible, the girl who works the front counter most of the time has the craziest memory. Go there once and you'll forever be remembered and treated like their best customer. The food is just awesome. I have liked everything I've eaten there. Take out or dine in, yummy either way. Oh man, I'm making myself hungry now. I've got a chinese food place right around the corner from my home but they don't live up to DG standards so I'll drive 50 minutes round trip sometimes to get some GOOD take out. read more

Awful. Sweet and sour chicken--dried out, overcooked chicken. Chicken with cashew nuts--also overcooked meat, poor quality vegetables and sauce, and precious few cashews. This is the best Chinese food I have ever had. I ordered the sesame chicken and my boyfriend ordered the general tofu. First Chinese restaurant I've been too where I actually felt like and tasted like I was eating chicken. All the food was fresh and hot! Great fortune cookies too ;). This place is ridiculous. I placed my order online and it took almost 2 hours to come when I live right around the corner. We called twice and they kept saying it was on its way. Once it finally came, it was cold. We called refusing to pay for it and they would not refund our money. They said we could get $5 credit off our next order but we clearly will not order again and we told them that. They said they could refund half of it since we were starving by the time it got here and had a few bites. They also said we could not talk to the manager because he does not speak english.
